dear insecurities,

it's been a while since i've said anything in this journal of mine. and at this point, i think it's safe to say i am finished writing in here. it's safe to say that you have left (for now at least).

dan closed the journal full of worries and fears, and walked up to phil's flat with the book in hand. he knocked three times.

and phil answered almost immediately. dan didn't speak. he simply handed the journal to him.

"thank you phil. thank you for everything."

phil briefly looked at the contents before making eye contact with dan, tears welling up in the boys eyes.

dan pulled him into a kiss full of passion and care before stepping inside and closing the door.

dan howell was finally happy.
