The squad sleepover was in full swing once everyone burst into Levi's home and ran up the stairs to his room. Considering how big his bedroom was, everyone could fit in there easily with the sleeping bags and the one air mattress provided. It would be no contest as to who got the air mattress, but Xavier would definitely put up a fight to steal the whole thing for himself. Skye didn't really care, plus she suspected that she wouldn't get much sleep either way.

With no parents in the house (for now, Levi's mom was picking up Lenny from school and his dad was at work for a couple more hours), you'd think that the group of teens would go off the rails and throw an extravaganza, but they just sat around the room and contemplated on what to do.

"What do you guys wanna do?" Nini asked.

Skye, who was looking down at her phone as she was texting her dad to say she was safe, looked up in confusion due to not hearing anything that Nini said. "Huh?"

"I said; what do you guys wanna do? It's the squad sleepover!" She exclaimed. "We gotta do something!"

"I'm bored," Xavier whined, laying down on the floor with a pout on his face and his arms out and open.

"We just got here." Danny scoffed, already annoyed with Xavier.

"Whatever." He rolled his eyes.

"We could eat." Skye shrugged. When in doubt, eat food.

Xavier immediately sat up at the mention of eating, already down with the idea. "Yes. I'm with Skye."

Everyone fell silent after Skye's weak idea, but then a lightbulb popped up above Levi's head when he looked at his posters and the giant TV mounted onto the wall of his bedroom. "Why don't we just have a movie marathon or something?"

"Yes! Then we can eat at the same time and go into a food coma!" Xavier exclaimed. It seemed like they were finally having an idea come together, but Nini wasn't completely satisfied as she had an idea of her own.

"Awe, I kind of wanted to do karaoke." She frowned, but that idea couldn't happen anyway.

"Don't you remember? Hunter broke the karaoke machine awhile ago." Levi said. The karaoke machine belonged to his mother, by the way, so Sandra was definitely pissed off when that happened, but so was Nini as she loved to sing whenever given the opportunity.

"Yeah." Nini sighed. "I still hold a grudge."

"Wait, I brought face masks too," Skye said, reaching for her bag and pulling them out to show everyone. "We can do those while having a movie marathon."

"Even better; a Marvel movie marathon." Danny proposed, knowing it would interest everybody in the room, especially Xavier, who was a die-hard Marvel fan, even more of a fan than Levi was.

"Yes!" He gasped. "But like, we could totally skip Thor: The Dark World."

"Oh, definitely." Levi agreed. Skye silently agreed as well but didn't speak up about it.

"So, Marvel movie marathon?" She questioned, and everyone agreed, but they couldn't get started just yet.

"Let's get into our pajamas first," Nini said, receiving everyone's approval.

"Can we all agree on pizza too?" Levi asked.

"I can."

"Me too."

"Same."

"Uh, I need to take my dairy pill so I don't shit my brains out," Danny said, raising his hand while everyone turned their heads and furrowed their eyebrows at him.

"Go take your dairy pill, Danny," Levi said.

Everyone searched through their bags to quickly find their pajamas, taking advantage of all the empty bathrooms on a bit of a first-come, first-serve basis, which Skye wasn't exactly aware of as she was still busy digging through her bag.

"I call getting changed first!" Nini yelled out, running out of the room and down the hall.

"I'll take the downstairs bathroom!" Danny offered.

"I'm breaking into his parents' bathroom!" Xavier yelled, which Levi immediately tried to prevent, but couldn't as Xavier was already on the move.

"Wait, don't- never mind." He groaned. It was then just left to him and Skye in his room, the two falling silent as Levi pressed himself against the wall and Skye placed her pile of clothes onto Levi's bed and zipped up her bag.

"Don't worry, I'll wait."

"I can leave and let you get changed in here." Levi offered, but Skye declined.

"Nah, I'm good." She assured him. Plus, she kind of wanted access to a mirror so she could check out her hair and make sure it wasn't a complete mess.

"Alright." He replied, looking down while the room fell silent, deciding to bring up the winter formal given that no one else was around to tease them. "So, did you hear about winter formal?"

"Mhm." Skye nodded. She wasn't sure where she was going with this, but it couldn't be too bad.

"You gonna go?" Levi asked. "Or was homecoming bad enough-"

"Eh, I think I'll go." She interrupted before homecoming could be completely mentioned. "It's senior year, so I might as well not miss out."

"Cool, cool. I'm going too. Uh, don't gotta worry about running for king or anything either." He lightly chuckled. Here comes the memories about homecoming. Not having the stress of running for king wasn't so bad, but Levi didn't exactly have to worry about the king and queen fiasco repeating either.

"Oh."

"Yeah."

The two kept quiet as they weren't sure what to say, but Skye had Danny as her saving grace since he called for her from downstairs. "Skye, the downstairs bathroom is free if you need it!"

"Okay!" She yelled, quickly grabbing her clothes and heading out of the bedroom.

"I'll let you-"

"Yeah."

Skye shared a look with Danny as she passed him on her way to the downstairs bathroom, noticing a look on his face that screamed "did you guys do anything in there?" Obviously, Levi would say something about the dreadful awkwardness while the two were alone, but Skye didn't have to hear that when she was busy getting changed.

After having changed into her pajamas, Skye checked her hair in the mirror, seeing it looked practically the same as it did when she left the house this morning without a single curl out of place. Her hair always bounced around with each step she took, something Levi took notice of and sometimes counted how many times her hair bounced when walking with her. Skye thought it was stupid, but even she wondered how much it occurred in a day.

Grabbing her clothes and stepping out of the bathroom, Skye headed up the stairs and noticed Levi's bedroom door was closed. She checked to see if the others were in one of the available bathrooms and saw they weren't in there, so she assumed they were in Levi's room and just headed inside.

"Who's ready for-" Skye walked into the room to see everyone attempting a pillow fort together, one that immediately fell down once she walked into the room. Her eyes widened upon seeing the sight, but the squad was too focused on the loss of their precious fort.

"Dammit!" Xavier yelled, slamming his fist onto the ground for dramatic effect.

"Sorry, guys," Skye said, walking over to where her bag was and placing her clothes she previously wore inside.

"I'm too lazy to try again." He groaned, plopping down on the mess of pillows that they scrounged from various parts of the house. "Can we just put on the movie?"

"What do you wanna start with?" Levi asked, sitting on the edge of his bed where Skye went down to sit next to him, notably keeping a bit of distance so nobody made any sort of comment about it.

"Um, we gotta go in order, bro!" Xavier sassed as any fangirl or fanboy would in this case. "Of course we're starting with Captain America."

"The First Avenger it is." He chuckled, grabbing for the remote and sourcing the TV so they could stream the movie.

As Levi was getting ready to put on the movie, Skye sparked up one of the biggest Marvel debates thanks to the character they were about to watch on screen. "Were you guys team Iron Man or team Captain America in Civil War?"

"Skye, you're about to start another civil war just by asking that question." Xavier joked. He wasn't wrong, that's for sure.

"I was just curious!" She protested.

"Well, I was team Cap." Nini chimed in, sharing her opinion that Skye immediately disagreed with.

"Really?" Skye raised an eyebrow. As Levi learned before, Skye was a Marvel fan, so obviously she knew what she was talking about. Danny and Xavier thought she was just in for the eye candy (which was fair as Xavier could relate), but they would be shocked to see how much she knew about the famous cinematic universe.

But while Skye had her utmost educated opinion in her back pocket, Nini just cared about the eye candy. "Yeah, but Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan are hot."

"I hate that you're right." Skye sighed, but still, she couldn't agree with Nini's stance completely.

"What team were you on, Skye?" Danny asked, positive he knew her answer already.

"Um, neither." She replied, having prepared her explanation in advance. "Steve and Tony were both right and wrong in certain aspects in my opinion. Besides, picking just one team no matter which one you pick will always be too controversial. You know how online fanboys are."

"Damn, you're good," Xavier grunted. A little offended by the fanboy part, but still, he could respect her answer.

"I know my stuff." Skye shrugged.

"Respectfully, I have to disagree," Levi said out of nowhere.

Skye turned and raised an eyebrow at him, ready to argue with Levi until the end of time. "Oh, really?"

"Nah, I'm just playing." He laughed. Or was he? No, he was really just playing.

"Good." She replied, eyeing him down, which scared the shit out of Levi.

"I'll just start the movie..." Levi said, slowly picking up the remote and pressing play.

"I think that's a good idea, bro." Xavier whisper yelled.

Well into their movie marathon, the sky was pitch black and the squad was all yawning (except Xavier who hogged all of the soda). No one had even noticed the time nor how late it was, not even looking at their phones at all for the past so many hours. They were all too engrossed with having fun and just spending quality time together, but the fun was interrupted by a sudden knock on Levi's bedroom door.

"Come in!" Levi yelled out, reaching for the remote and pausing the movie.

The younger Daniels walked through the door in his Spongebob Squarepants pajamas, unfortunately raining on their parade whilst being the messenger for their mother.
"Mommy said you guys have to go to bed."

"Oh my god, dude! Bestie! You missed my birthday!" Skye exclaimed upon seeing Lenny. "Where were you?"

"Levi said I couldn't go." He pouted, which Skye had no clue about, both shocked and saddened about it.

Skye gasps, looking over to Levi over the revelation. "Levi!"

"I thought it would be a bad idea!" Levi protested. In a way, it was kind of a good idea that Lenny didn't go considering the Just Dance incident, but still, Skye low-key wished he went.

"I wanted cake!" Lenny whined in true five-year-old fashion.

"You can have cake at my birthday, dude." Levi insisted, despite obviously having cake on his birthday every year.

"I always do, stupid." He scoffed, shocking everyone while thinking he was impressing Levi's friends with his attitude.

"Woah, woah, woah!" Everyone said in unison. Skye couldn't help but let out a snicker while everyone remained shocked, laughing even more when Levi looked over to her and lightly hit her arm (also making sure he wasn't doing it harshly as he didn't want to hurt her).

"Do what mommy said!" Lenny yelled and slammed the bedroom door.

"You heard the little man," Levi said.

"I can't believe my bestie was declined an invite to my birthday." Skye sighed as she stood up from Levi's bed (where she had been sitting throughout the whole marathon), went to her designated sleeping bag and pulled her bonnet over her head.

"He can always come to the next one." He assured her, which made Skye raise an eyebrow. "A-assuming that we're still friends by then."

"Oh, they ain't gonna be just friends by then." Xavier teased while Danny and Nini giggled as they were snuggled up on the air mattress together.

"Haha, okay, lights off, goodnight!" Levi said abruptly as he turned off the TV, got up to turn off the lights, then climbed into bed and threw the covers over him while everyone just had to deal with it.

"Can we talk until we fall asleep?" Xavier asked as he was nowhere near tired unlike the others.

"No." Everyone said at the same time.

"Dammit." He whined.
