Taehyung was on his way to take areum from school as she was feeling sick and had called home. Taehyung was in his car, driving towards the school.

He parked his car in the school's parking lot and saw that areum was already standing with the teacher in front of the entrance gate. He smiled at them before waving at them.

Areum yelled a "hello appa!" before tugging at the teacher's dress to tell her to drop her across the road.

The teacher giggled before nodding and holding areum's hand and walking towards the road.

Areum giggled as she saw that her appa's tummy was more visible now as she held the teacher's hand.

They were on the middle of the road when taehyung looked at the right and widened his eyes.

He saw a big truck approaching at full speed towards areum and her teacher as he gasped.

The car went by them and taehyung had his eyes pressed shut, not wanting to see the horrible sight.

Tears started leaking his eyes, breath suffocating him as his chest tightened, heart dropping in his stomach.

He doesn't know what happened after the car went by, he just wanted to know if areum and her teacher were safe.

He gasped as he opened his eyes.

And oh how thankful he was to god that the two were safe as the teacher had rushed away from the car.

Taehyung couldn't help but weep as he fell on the ground, cupping his mouth.

Seeing taehyung crying, areum also broke into loud cries. She was scared too, she almost died.

She was shaking as she ran towards taehyung and falling in his lap, shaking and trying so hard not to cry because she wanted to stay strong and console taehyung.

"A-a-appa, i-i am fine" she sobbed out, eyes watery.

Taehyung snapped his head towards her and broke into a loud cry before cupping her cheeks and kissing her all over the face and hugging her to death.

"G-g-god areum, thank god you-you are safe" taehyung cried out, shaking as he held his precious daughter in his hands tightly.

They both took a while to calm down before taehyung got up, areum hugging his leg and still shaking.

Taehyung thanked the teacher continuously and has never been this grateful to someone, she made sure that no one got hurt before going back inside the school. Yes, she was scared too but atleast she was happy everyone was safe.

Taehyung, with weak arms took areum inside the car and wrapped the seatbelt around her and sat inside the car.

He drank water with trembling hands before grasping areum's small and shaking hands.

"Areum, promise me that no matter what happens you will keep yourself safe and your siblings too?" taehyung sniffled and areum nodded.

He didn't even imagine that a day like this would come.

He is deeply scarred by this.

I need to be careful from now.

Taehyung said and collected his courage before driving to a techno store.

"I want you to keep this always with you, do you understand?" taehyung said as he handed areum a small pink keypad phone which was shaped as a makeup blusher and she nodded.

"If anything happens, i have added my number in the sos list. Call me" taehyung ordered and areum nodded her head sincerely.

"But one more thing. Do not tell about this to your papa, sunmi, gyeong or eunwoo. Not even any of your friends" taehyung said and areum nodded once again.

Taehyung pecked her forehead before installing the gps tracker in her phone and giving it to her.

They sat in the car and went back home.

Taehyung knew that this cannot happen so randomly

And he has to make sure that his kids are safe at any cost, even jungkook.
