Everybody got back home, laughing, giggling and having fun. They all ate at a nice family restaurant and saw the fireworks then came back home.

Jungkook dropped jimin off to his home and then took the sleepy kids inside their own house and then later came back to help taehyung get inside the house

The two sat on the couch and jungkook heaved a big sigh, feeling a little tired.

Taehyung looked at him with worry in his eyes.

He scooted closer to the tired male and etched his eyebrows in worry

"Baby, are you okay?" He asked in a concerned tone

Jungkook looked at him and gave him a tired smile.

"Yeah. Just a little tired. Now come here, give me energy" jungkook said as he opened his arms and taehyung gladly snuggled closer to his hubby

"Thank you Jungkook, for coming in my life" taehyung said as he kept his ear over jungkook's chest, hearing his heartbeat and smiling at how calm it was

"Thank you for giving me what I wanted" jungkook said as he pecked his husband's hair and closed his eyes

Soon jungkook slept and taehyung stood up from the couch and covered jungkook in the blanket then kissed his forehead before holding his bump and deciding to climb upstairs by his own as he cannot wake jungkook up for it

He looked at the stairs and sighed. He needs to be extra careful while going up the stairs

He held his baby bump and started climbing the stairs

He was halfway up the stairs and was grinning in pre-victory when his foot was on the edge instead of the middle.

He gasped as his eyes widened, heartbeat stopping as he knew the next thing that's gonna happen to him

He'll trip and fall

He wanted to clutch the railing but it was too far from him, tears started forming in his eyes, scared of what's gonna happen

He closed his eyes

He can't let this happen

If he can't save himself, he'll save the baby atleast

A loud shrill came out of his mouth as he was about to fall, when two strong pair of arms were wrapped around his back and one over his bump

He opened his eyes as he saw his husband looking at him with shocked eyes

Taehyung couldn't have felt so happy before that tears started to come out of his eyes with sobs

He wants to blame himself that he wasn't careful enough with the stairs and all jungkook's love and care would have gone to waste

And there wouldn't have been the baby amongst them

Even thinking about it now makes him wanna cry

He cupped his mouth as he hiccuped to stop his sobs while husband looked at him with worry and shock

"Oh my gosh Tae! What were you thinking?! It's not good for you to climb the stairs alone! You should have asked me!" Jungkook chided at his crying husband who was so happy to even see his angry jungkook's face right now

"I love you jungkook, I love you so much" the blondie ignored the other's chides as he started to say I love you repeatedly making the younger calm a little

"What if......what if you would have fallen?" Jungkook asked with utter concern laced in his voice, eyebrows etching as if he was deeply hurt by the thought of not having either one of them

"I-i thought I was being a burden on you" taehyung said and jungkook immediately pulled the sobbing blondie in a hug

"Never ever say that ever again, I dare. You can never be a burden for me. It's my duty as a husband and a father to keep you and my baby protected. You're not a burden Tae, you're my better half, without you I can never be able to live on my own. I would have lived for a long time before I met you, but thinking of not having you beside me gives me chills. I'll never let you feel that you are a burden amongst yourself because I love you Tae and i want you to let me help you, to let me be a great parent for now as i couldn't become for my kids" jungkook said, blinking his eyes rapidly to not let his own tears fall

Taehyung was not in a state to speak so jungkook decided to take him upstairs

He gently placed taehyung on the bed and slid beside him while taehyung immediately scooted closer to him, snuggling in his embrace while his sobs were turned into sniffles

It was quiet when taehyung decided to speak

"Jungkook, you are the bestest of best father any children could ever want. You've given your children everything no father could even give. You never acted as if you were their father, you were a friend for them, the one they needed the most when their own bitchy mother left them for no good reason. I have always been inspired by you, kook. And i know even if your kids mock you or act with you as if they are your age, I know that from inside their heart, they respect you more than you even think they would" taehyung said as he gave a sincere smile to jungkook who couldn't help but feel moved on by the speech

"I am so glad to have you in my life Tae" jungkook smiled at him

Suddenly taehyung gasped and gave a grin to jungkook

"What?" Jungkook asked

"I-i feel it!" Taehyung exclaimed

"Feel what?" Jungkook's excitement and curiosity was growing

"I-i can feel our baby, moving" taehyung smiled as he sat up and held his bump

Jungkook bolted up and scooted closer to taehyung, keeping his hand over the other's.

He could feel the movements inside and grinned at taehyung before hugging him

"I love you and our baby, Tae"
