Frustration
"Midoriya!"
Said male, who was heading to the bus, halted in his steps to look over his shoulder, and a bright grin appeared on his face.
He switched his briefcase to one hand before sending a wave back at his buddy, Hadashi. "Bye!"
"Bye!" Hadashi cupped his hands around his mouth. "And hey! Next time we meet, remind me to show you my private collection, okay?!"
Anticipation twinkled in Midoriya's bright green eyes and he nodded. "Sure!"
Hadashi gave him a thumbs up and a wave before jogging towards their school bus.
Midoriya lowered his hand to tightly grip onto his bag's strap and he bounced on his toes. Another friend made from another school...awesome!
"Deku!"
The boy turned to the girl bounding towards him and his face lit up. "Uraraka!"
"I forgot to congratulate you on getting fourth place earlier! I'm so happy for you!" beaming, Uraraka leaned closer to him and balled her hands into fists. "You guys worked hard today!"
A squeak passed Midoriya's lips as he tensed up from the abrupt intrusion of his personal space. A wobbly smile made its way to his flushed face and he scratched the back of his head.
"Tha-Thank you, Uraraka," he breathlessly stuttered, his eyes never still and never looking at her except in passing. "I-It was just t-teamwork!"
Uraraka clasped her hands behind her back and leaned back to give him space. "It really paid off then."
Thanking the stars that she had backed up, Midoriya tugged at his shirt collar to cool off and awkwardly chuckled. "Uh...yeah, um, it did..."
He threw a nervous glance at the bus and did a double-take when he spotted (Y/n) a distance away, heading towards the same direction. His smile faded and his arm slowly dropped to his side.
"Wow," Uraraka, who hadn't yet noticed Midoriya's diverted attention continued, "you know it's like we haven't seen each other the whole day," she toyed with a lock of hair as she smiled shyly. "I really miss-"
Midoriya snapped his eyes back to her. "C-Can you hold that thought please?"
Uraraka's fingers froze around her hair. "Huh? Wha-"
The boy looked back at where (Y/n) had disappeared off to and he frowned. "I need to check up on (Y/n) first and see if she's okay," he turned back to her. "Is that alright with you?"
"Oh..." Uraraka's face fell but she quickly replaced it with a tight smile and nodded. "Y-yeah. I don't mind. I mean she did-"
"Thank you!" Midoriya waved at her over his shoulder, already walking off towards the bus' direction. "You can tell me what you wanted to later!"
I didn't finish... "It's alright," she muttered to no one in particular while she sent a weak wave back, "it wasn't that important anyway..."
When his back was turned to her, she slowly dropped her hand to her side and a sullen look took over. She thinned her lips as she stared at the boy running off to her best friend.
There he goes again. Worrying about her...
Catching herself, she groaned and smacked her palms to her cheeks. Ugh, what am I thinking? (Y/n) is your friend, and Deku's too. It's natural for him to worry about her.
Plus...her hands slid down her face and she cast her despondent gaze to the cobblestone ground, I shouldn't be feeling this way, especially after choosing to focus on achieving my dream instead of pursuing him.
But still, I can't help it. She clutched at her chest and her fingers tightened around the fabric of her school jacket. It hurts so much to keep my feelings hidden. But it hurts, even more, to see him like that for her.
She looked up to see him go around the bus and her scowl deepened.
I wonder, though. Will he still run to her once he finds out about the true nature of (Y/n)'s and Bakugou's relationship? Or will he give up...and finally pay attention to me for a change...
***
Midoriya rounded up the bus' corner, confident that he'd find (Y/n) on the other side. And true to his guess, he did.
She was crouching down with her head buried in her arms and her bag and briefcase set on the ground beside her. She hadn't seen or heard him, which was advantageous for the most part.
Fingers tingling with anxiety, Midoriya drew his bottom lip between his teeth and his hand tightened around the strap of his bag. They hadn't talked to each other ever since she was dragged away by Satori during lunch period. He had assumed along the way that she probably didn't want to talk to him anymore so he had respected her wishes and kept his distance for the rest of the day.
It was killing him inside because he felt as if they were drifting further apart, especially since they were so close to each other before he opened his big mouth. He didn't know how much longer he could handle staying away from her but then he also didn't want to make her uncomfortable so he had forced himself to suck it up for her sake.
But after learning from Uraraka that she had gotten into a fight with Satori...he couldn't stay away any longer. A part of him felt like he was to blame for not preventing it in the long run. Another part of him felt like, if he hadn't been so selfish and stayed away, maybe the outcome would've been different and they wouldn't have fought.
Either way, he figured that there was no use regretting the past. What's done, is done. All he needed to do now was to find a way to fix it and move on from there. Maybe that way he could atone for his sins and be a better friend to (Y/n) than he had during the past few days.
So, with his mind made up and confidence built up, the freckled boy drew in a short breath and forced his limbs to relax. (Y/n) still hadn't noticed his presence and he didn't want to alarm her. So he took a tentative step forward.
"(Y/n)?" he said, voice quiet and soft.
Said girl visibly jolted in place. Midoriya was convinced for a minute there that he had scared her and he had half a mind to turn tail and run.
(Y/n) slowly raised her head towards the voice's owner and her torn heart nearly collapsed. Her breath came out as a shudder when her (e/c) eyes met with green ones.
"(Y-Y/n)," he repeated. "I saw you come here."
The girl continued staring at him and Midoriya started sweating bullets.
"I-I hope I'm not intruding or a-anything," he took a step back. "I-If you want," he jerked a thumb towards the direction he came, "I can go-"
"No!" he jumped slightly when (Y/n) suddenly stood up with her hand extended forward. Sighing, she lowered her hand and sent him an apologetic look. "Sorry, I didn't mean shout...but, don't go..."
"Oh, okay," Midoriya eased up with a nod and took it as an invitation to draw closer to her. "I heard what happened with Hanabe."
"Yeah," frowning at the side, she fixed her scarf around her neck. "Todoroki told me that Uraraka told you guys."
Midoriya's eyes went round with a strangled gasp.
"She-She didn't want to tell me at first but I insisted so please don't get angry with her!" he sputtered while his free arm wildly flailed in the air. "I-I-I was just so worried when she said that something happened between you and H-Hanabe, I couldn't let it go! I'm so sorry if I breached your privacy, (Y/n)!" slapping his hand to his side, he bowed down to her. "You probably didn't want many people to know about that and I didn't mean to stick my nose in your business! I should've just let it go and-"
"I'm not mad at her. Or you. Especially you."
Midoriya's eyes flew open to gawk at the ground. He slowly straightened up, his expression puzzled. "Y-You're not?"
(Y/n) shook her head.
"Oh..." avoiding her eyes, he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. Maybe assuming things with her wasn't the right move. He would've made things worse if he hadn't approached her and asked. It was a good thing he did.
He snuck a glance at her and his gut twisted when he caught the dejected look she had. His hand slipped from his neck and he bit the inside of his cheek.
"Did she..." he cautiously asked. "Did she hurt you?"
(Y/n) pinched her lips together and lifted her shoulder in a shrug. She then realized that it wasn't enough of an answer so she shook her head.
"No, she didn't."
Midoriya nodded, not knowing what to say. He couldn't tell exactly what but there was something off about her. Knowing her as well as he did, she'd usually reply with something along the lines of "yeah, my emotions maybe" regardless of how she was feeling. But...she didn't.
His eyes widened. Was he too late?
While the boy pondered over where he could've gone wrong, (Y/n) was silently eying his shoulder with a longing look. Her dull eyes lingered there for another three seconds before she leaned forward with a sigh and laid her forehead on it.
Midoriya gasped with a flinch. His face went up in flames as his body went rigid. He clenched his trembling fingers into a fist and he squeezed his eyes shut. She was so close to him that he was able to smell her shampoo and feel her warm breath against his chest over his clothes. His heart was pounding so painfully fast he was afraid that she could hear it.
Swallowing hard, he cracked his eyes open to sneak a peek to the side of her face before quickly looking away, his blush intensifying.
He didn't know what to do in that situation. He still wasn't used to having girls stand so close to him, especially have one lean on his shoulder. Although it wasn't as intense as hugging, it felt different. Like she was leaning on him for support. But then again, it wasn't right to assume so he was better off asking her, even though he felt like his mouth had gone dry.
"(Y/n)?" he cringed when his voice came out high-pitched and he cleared his throat. "(Y/n)? What...what are you doing?"
He heard her sigh.
"Can I stay here for a while?" she pleaded softly. "Please?"
Midoriya's eyebrows raised a tad bit before he slowly relaxed.
"Okay."
(Y/n) remained silent and he pressed his lips together as he stared off at nothing.
He didn't want to think about it, but he couldn't help but tie Katsuki to the moment (Y/n)'s mental and emotional state entered a downward spiral. And from what he remembered from middle school, Katsuki and Satori hated each other, with the latter harboring those strong feelings because he had hurt her best friend.
His brows drew together in a deep frown.
Did she perhaps catch wind of the rumor he had intentionally started? If so, did she think that (Y/n)'s feelings for Kacchan had returned? Is that why they fought in the first place? If that's the case, then isn't it his fault for starting the rumors in the first place? He wasn't expecting it to go that far, it was originally meant to be a ruse to protect (Y/n). Did his carelessness cause two best friends to fight and break up? If then, didn't that make him the real villain of the story?
"Izuku, I can literally hear you thinking."
The boy gasped out of his frantic thoughts and his eyes darted to (Y/n). She was vacantly staring at the ground and she didn't look like she was angry or anything.
His features softened as he considered their position. Other questions aside, if he really was the cause of their fight, would she be there with him in the first place? Obviously, she wouldn't, right?
"(Y/n)?" he asked.
"Hm?"
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Just tired, is all."
"Oh," he frowned, his gaze dropping to the ground. He should've known that question wouldn't be easily answered with an honest answer.
"Izuku?"
He perked up. "What is it?"
"...I missed you."
Heat crept up his ears. How can she easily say something like that?
"I-I missed you too, (Y/n)..." he sadly smiled as warmth and nostalgia radiated in his chest. In that short moment, it felt like things were back to normal, when she'd tell him things that would damn near give him a stroke. "I feel like we haven't seen each other in a while..."
(Y/n) stared down at his red shoes and a muscle in her jaw twitched from how hard she had been grinding down on it. She took in a sharp breath and her lips began trembling. She had been trying her hardest to not act how she felt but it was getting so difficult by the minute. Dealing with being away from Midoriya, her confused emotions towards Katsuki, the shitty day, Satori's betrayal, the pain. All of it-
"It felt like an eternity to me..." she muttered, her lashes brimming heavy with tears.
Midoriya's smile turned fond but it disappeared when he heard her sniffle. He shot her a worried look and another sniffle from her confirmed his suspicions.
"(Y/n)? Are you-?"
"No," her voice shook in a desperate battle against her grief. "Just got...something in my eye."
The boy frowned with a sigh. It's okay to admit when you're not alright, you know.
Shifting back a bit, he placed his free hand on her shoulder and pushed her back. (Y/n) raised her head to meet his eyes, her lips parted in confusion and hurt.
Midoriya gently set his briefcase down before shrugging off his yellow bag and placing it next to it. He then straightened up and opened his arms wide.
"Here, (Y/n)," he smiled. "You can cry now."
A loud sob escaped (Y/n) and she nodded before crashing into his chest. She buried her face in his jacket and let her floodgates open. She wept, tears streaming from her eyes, loud, heaving sobs tearing her throat raw and her body racking.
Midoriya held her in silence, rubbing her back slowly as her tears soaked his jacket.
"Why..."
His brows knitted at the question, but he soon realized that she wasn't talking to him.
"W-Why would you...do this to me?" she rasped, her voice muffled by his jacket. "I trusted...you. You were supposed t-to be my friend..."
She weakly hit Midoriya's chest. "Why?" she hit him again, harder. "Why?! Why would you do this...I trusted..."
She hiccupped and hit him again. When she cried, there was a rawness to it, like the pain was still an open wound, festering. Everything that had happened the past few hours replayed in her mind and all the feelings she had tried bottling in came pouring out. Satori's harsh words, her lies, her manipulations.
She had trusted her to be her best friend and to watch her back, only to realize that she had given her the knife and the opportunity to stab her.
"I...hate you," she sobbed. Clenching her fist, she punched him. "I hate you so much!" she repeatedly banged her fists on his chest. "Why would you do this to me?! I was your friend! You shouldn't have done this...you shouldn't have..."
Midoriya held back a grunt when she landed a particularly hard hit on him, though it wasn't enough for him to feel pain. He was used to pain, and her hits were nothing in comparison to breaking his bones over and over again. But if it made her feel better, then he'd gladly let her use him as her catharsis.
(Y/n) landed one last defeated punch on him before she went limp against him, her fingers fisting at his school jacket.
"Make it stop... Please...It hurts," her voice cracked at the end. "It hurts so much...make it stop...please..."
Midoriya's eyes widened, his heart felt like it had just been daggered. Her words sounded so broken and desperate, like she was begging him to heal her heart and end her suffering. Arms tightening around her, he bit his lip when he felt hot tears well up in his eyes.
He could relate so much to how she felt and those words she uttered...
It reminded him of all those years he'd run back home after a brutal bullying from Kacchan to cry into his pillow. He'd pour out his tears, his pent up frustrations, and feelings while punching it as he pretended it was Kacchan's face. He'd cry out those same words but as each day went by, it seemed as if the pain would never stop. No one knew of his suffering and if they knew they probably didn't care. He had tried to hide it from his mother but he could see it in her pained eyes that she knew and was hurting because she couldn't help him.
All those years, he was so alone with only his pillow there to wipe his tears away.
And he wouldn't wish that on anyone, especially (Y/n). He didn't want her to experience the loneliness and betrayal he felt for so long. Even if it was for a while, even if those shoes were too big for him to fill, he'd gladly try his best to save her from that.
He'd be her pillow.
Sniffling as another tear ran down his freckled cheek, he stroked her hair while his fingers entangled through it.
Once upon a time, (Y/n) had stood up for him against Kacchan. He remembered it vividly too.
She had done it so effortlessly and with no fear that she actually managed to ward Kacchan off. After that, she had turned to him with a smile and told him to ignore Kacchan's harsh words and that he was only being a jerk. She then proceeded to ruffle his hair and tell him to cheer up.
Come to think of it, he had never properly thanked her for that. He would've at that time, if he wasn't stunned to complete silence over having a girl talk to him. Although he was embarrassed over not saying anything after, his whole mood for the rest of the day had been overturned as he had gone the whole day thinking about how she stood up for him and the kind smile she had offered him.
For the first time in months, he didn't run home and he didn't cry into his pillow nor did he didn't punch it, because she had reminded him that there were still people out there who viewed him as a somebody and not a Quirkless nobody. She had lifted his spirits so much to the point that he had hugged his mother first thing after stepping foot into their house, which surprised her as it had been a while.
Ever since that day, he had placed (Y/n) on her own special type of pedestal, much different from that one of Kacchan's or All Might.
She wasn't the talkative type and she preferred not to be involved in a lot of things so their interactions after that were just simple greetings and borrowing of stationary. But that didn't matter so much because seeing her everyday, sitting in front of him, was more than enough for him to know that he wasn't some unwanted thing.
To him, she was a happy, strong, confident person who wasn't the least bit scared of Kacchan like others. She was his anchor, in a sense, the one peaceful thing he could rely on in a storm.
So seeing her suffer like this, it broke his heart.
He still didn't know how to thank her for the kindness she showed him that day but if it meant having to be there for her when she needed him, then he'd do it in a heartbeat. He owed that to her.
Because she deserved all the happiness in the world.
***
Minutes had gone by and (Y/n)'s crying had significantly toned down to constant sniffling and hiccups.
When Midoriya felt her shift around in his arms, he raised his chin from the top of her head to look at her. He released her and she pulled away while blinking away the remaining tears. She fished out her handkerchief from her pocket and blew her nose.
Midoriya watched her with a plaintive expression, silent and in deep thought.
She finished wiping her nose and folded the handkerchief. She then sent Midoriya a red, puffy-eyed look and lightly grimaced at the sight of a dark, wet spot on his jacket. Though Midoriya didn't seem to mind it.
"Thank you," she muttered, her voice scratchy as she pocketed the cloth.
"You're welcome," he nodded. He then looked down at his clasped hands and a small frown pursed his lips. "I'm sorry...(Y/n)."
(Y/n) glanced around, her brows drawn together before she tilted her head. "Why are you apologizing? You haven't done anything wrong."
Midoriya rubbed his thumb over his scarred palm, keeping his gaze from meeting hers. "I'm sorry for being a terrible friend to you. For not doing anything even when I can see you hurting in front of me. I'm sorry for not...being there for you when I should've been."
She shook her head a bit before taking a step forward.
"Izuku, it's okay-"
"No, it's not!" he snapped, his decibels rising.
(Y/n) gaped at him as she stood rooted on the spot.
"Stop saying you're okay when I can plainly see that you're not," gritting his teeth, he fisted at his trousers. "And I knew that, and I still didn't do anything to help you. I should've been a better friend and not have left you to go through this alone," his head shot up and he placed his hand on his chest. "I'm part of the reason why you're suffering so let me take responsibility and be there for you from now on."
(Y/n)'s nearly broke down again upon seeing his teary eyes.
"Izuku," she gingerly took his hand off his chest and covered his hand with hers. "It's not your job to do that... I can handle myself."
"I know," he took his hand out of hers and grabbed both her hands, "but I'm going to do it anyway and don't bother trying to change my mind."
(Y/n) sniffled and her eyes flicked down to their hands. His hands held no malice in them, they felt so much different from when Satori would hold her hands, in texture, size, and intentions.
Her eyes darted back to him. His face was set in unwavering resolve, his eyes glinting with stubbornness, jaw clenched and his hair slightly ruffling against the wind. It was at those moments she was reminded why she fell for him in the first place. His kind heart, his need to save people at his own expense, his selflessness, his pureness, his handsome face.
Honestly...
If she wasn't dead inside already, she would've ascended to the upper room that very second. That and she didn't have the energy to argue with him.
"I wasn't going to," she shook her head as a small smile played on her lips. "I know how you get when you've made up your mind." She curled her fingers around his hands and squeezed. "Thank you...and I forgive you."
A blush appeared on the boy's face when he realized that he had grabbed (Y/n)'s hands without thinking and he nearly pulled away as a reflex. But on seeing (Y/n)'s calm face, he held on to them for a while longer, even though he was freaking out on the inside.
"Y-You're welcome," he stuttered, his eyes looking elsewhere that wasn't her.
(Y/n) pressed her lips together to prevent her smile from growing. He was so adorkable.
Reluctantly, she let go of his hands and looked up at the bus. The lights inside were on, which meant that time for boarding had drawn near. It was finally time to leave and let the day end.
She turned to Midoriya, who was looking away from her while he covered the lower half of his face with his hand in a poor attempt to hide his blush.
(Y/n) tried to keep a straight face as she bent down to pick her bag from the ground.
"We should go," she said and slung the straps over her shoulders. "We're almost boarding the bus."
Midoriya nodded without looking at her and picked up his bag as well. (Y/n) went to grab her briefcase but Midoriya got to it before she did. She rose an inquisitive brow at him and he finally met her eyes.
"Here," he offered her a shy smile, "l-let me get that for you."
(Y/n) straightened up with a smile and clasped her hands behind her back. "Thanks."
Midoriya nodded and the two began making their way around the bus when he turned to (Y/n).
"Hey," he gave her a concerned look. "Are you okay?"
The girl sent him a side-long glance. There was no point lying to him since she had outright broken down in front of him.
"No, I'm not..." she shook her head. A beat passed before she added with a faint smile. "But things will be better one day. Right?"
Midoriya returned the smile.
"Right. You just have to take it one day at a time."
***
(Y/n) had never been so relieved over getting back to the dorms.
The first thing she had done after locking herself in her room was collapse head-first on her bed. She had then proceeded to lay there for ten minutes until she forced herself to get up and clean herself up. Once she was done, she slipped into something comfortable and sat on her bed to make a quick entry in her diary.
Problem was, she didn't know what to write.
So there she was, leaned back against her headboard, knees pulled up to her chest while she blankly stared down at the open diary on her lap. In her hand was her pen, with the tip hovering over the clean page, unmoving. She had her earphones in, with loud music blaring in her ears, drowning out reality.
She bit the inside of her cheek and tapped her pen against the page to the music's beat. After crying, she was left feeling like...meh. She didn't want to do anything, even thinking by itself was exhausting. She just wanted to lay down and wait for the sweet embrace of sleep to take her away.
But unfortunately for her, she also had to eat. And by "had" she meant like Midoriya-practically-made-her-promise-that-she'd-eat-before-going-to-bed had. So yeah, it was that crucial.
Blowing out her cheeks, she looked down at the phone that laid beside her hip and tapped the screen. Midoriya hadn't texted yet so she still had a few minutes left. Enough to make an entry for the day. An entry she had no working brain cells to come up with.
A sudden thought popped up in her mind and she grabbed her phone. She went to her music playlist and scrolled down for a particular song. Finding it, she selected it and placed her phone back beside her.
The music flowed to her ears and she heavily sighed.
Fuck it. Let's overwork them.
She pressed the tip of the pen on the page and started to write.
Dear Diary,
Today has been the most fucked up day in my miserable existence.
And I'm not exaggerating. I could be but I'm not.
This day was so long and hard and it literally fucked me in the ass. And trust me when I say that it did not use lube nor did I know the safe word. Like, it got to a point that I even started to wonder if all the shit that happened to me was because I didn't forward that message to fifteen people.
...God, I hope not.
Basically, a lot has happened since last week Friday. So much that I can barely keep up. If there was a way I could get my old, non-dramatic, simple life back, trust me, I'd do it in a snap. But, this is my life now and I just have to stop fighting it and accept it (rolls eyes to another dimension).
It won't matter how much I want them to because things will never go back to normal. I'm probably gonna be a hot mess from now on, Katsuki is here to stay (fml), Izuku won't be oblivious about my crush on him (fmlx2), I still have no idea why Todoroki hangs around me a lot recently and
Her pen paused on her sentence and her expression closed up. She pressed her lips together and continued writing.
Satori is no longer going to be my Lifeline.
For so long I've blamed Katsuki for all my problems, I didn't stop to think that I should just open my eyes to what's in front of me. I've had my fair share of mistakes but letting Satori into my life was my first major mistake.
I always knew the 'when' but I never properly understood the 'why' and 'how' we became best friends. Maybe it was because her undying loyalty made me feel so special and wanted. It's stupid, yeah, but all those promises of "you'll never have to worry again, I won't leave you" and talks of "ignore it, I'll handle it" or "ignore it and it'll go away" just did it for me, I guess. Plus, I was kinda vulnerable at that time due to Katsuki's rejection so, I hung on to her every word.
She was my comfort zone, I relied on her to handle my shit. I never had to defend myself against others because I trusted her to be there for me, with a shovel, ready to bury my enemies.
With her, I never felt exposed. I never needed anything out of our friendship and that's probably what she wanted, for me to fully rely on her. She once told me that being her best friend made her feel special and wanted. It's logical since growing up for her was kinda hard. I didn't know her family well because she never had visitors over. Something about her father hating strangers or something. Who knows? Maybe that's why she always had trouble making friends and keeping them. Because every time she'd make one, they'd always turn around and leave her, as she said.
I don't know much about her family to pass judgment on how she was raised but with her kind of personality...well, that's no surprise there.
Her music faded when her phone pinged with a message notification and she threw a glance down at her phone over the edge of her diary. She smiled when she saw who the message was from and grabbed it.
Izukuwu 🥺:
Dinner's ready. Iida made oden (o^^)o
(Y/n):
I'll be there in a bit (^ _ ^)/
Izukuwu 🥺:
Okay (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑
Her smile fading, she placed her phone back and continued writing.
We were both starved for attention. And maybe that's how we developed some kind of unhealthy codependency on each other, one that was adverse to change. Maybe that's also why each time we fought or fell out, one of us (me (눈‸눈) ) would crawl back to the other like a yeast infection to try and fix things.
I hated it when we weren't talking. Mainly because I used to feel like something was missing in my life. An honorable mention is when I texted her after joining this school, smh. Honestly, though, I don't why I always allowed my loneliness to make me reconnect with a toxic person like her. It's a shame, really it is.
Well, at least now I know better than to drink poison when I'm thirsty.
(Y/n) scoffed and shook her head.
Maybe one day I'll get to the bottom of the 'why' and 'how'. Hopefully, it will help me figure out my mistakes and learn from them.
A special someone told me a few hours ago to take it one day at a time and that's what I'm going to do. I don't have to completely act like I'm okay with everything that's happening, but I can slowly learn to get used to it.
I can also learn to stand up for myself more and be strong enough to support myself on my own feet without relying on others. I'm gonna be a hero someday, aren't I? So I should try and be better.
For myself.
I know that there will be days when things won't go well for me. There will be days when I'll cry till I can't anymore. There will be days I'll lock myself in my room for hours on end. There will be days where I'll hit rock bottom and think 'no one wants me' or 'nothing will ever get better'. There will be days where I'll consider taking a trip to the school's rooftop.
But then during those days, I'll think back to his words and say to myself; 'it may be stormy now but it never rains forever' and I'll get the strength to hold on for one more day.
Who knows? Maybe if I do that, things will get better.
Someday though, but not today. And that's okay.
It's hard. Heck, it still hurts like hell. But it would've been worse if I had to see her every day. So thanks past me, for choosing to go to a different school. I owe you one.
Anyway, I have to go now. I promised someone I would.
So, wish me luck, okay? And I mean it this time ಠ_ʖಠ
Well, here's to hoping for better days! And remember (Y/n), stay strong.
Love you! ( ◜‿◝ )♡

Well, guys, that's concludes the first arc *happy kazoo noises*
In other news, since you guys have been asking for a really long time now... I decided why not just add Shouto as a love interest ╮(^▽^)╭. Besides, adding him means more drama and I'll get more opportunities to torture the characters (and you).
This ride should be fun 🙂
