Bargaining

A pair of hands grabbed hold of the curtains and enthusiastically pulled them back, allowing the morning light to shine into the room and illuminating it in its warm glow.

Yawning, (Y/n) rose her arms over her head and stretched, relishing in the pleasurable feeling of her joints popping and muscles loosening up. With a low moan, she let her arms fall back to her sides before grabbing the handles to the balcony door and sliding them open.

She was hit by the cool morning breeze as she made her way into the balcony and stopped at the balcony's railing. Pulling down the sleeves of her onesie to cover her cold hands, she wrapped her arms around herself and closed her eyes. She then drew in a long breath of the refreshing air before releasing it in a loud exhale. From her balcony, she could gaze at nature at its best and most glorious hour, dawn. Despite the other dormitory buildings that stretched out within the landscape, they still couldn't hide the beauty of the sunrise as it slowly rose to the beautiful blue sky, its rays cool and warm.

The corner of her mouth twitched as she envisioned the perfect morning walk to start the seemingly perfect day as the sight itself filled her up with more energy. After getting a good night's rest of eleven hours, she felt reborn.

She sighed with a smile.

And just like that, she was ready to take on the new d-

"DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"

And just like that, she was ready to jump over the balcony.

The surprise that had appeared on (Y/n)'s face slowly twisted into a grimace as she regarded the once beautiful morning with disgust and hate. Her shoulders sagging, the girl turned to walk back into her room and closed the balcony door behind her. Her eyes darted towards her front door and scowled.

Living next to Katsuki was one thing but having to share a floor with him was just plain cruelty on her behalf. It was like she was cursed to have him follow her everywhere, for fuck's sake! Same elementary school, same middle school, same high school, same class in all three cases, same street, same dorm floor, he sits behind her in class-what's next? Same agency and same coffin?!

And now he just had to spoil her morning like he did with everything else. As if having to hear he and his mother screaming at each other for years wasn't enough. It was no surprise that they've never had constant neighbors apart from her family, with the noise disturbance and all. But that's mostly because her dearest father had made the "mistake" of buying their house with a mortgage, otherwise they probably would've moved out too ages ago.

Oh, did she also mention that their parents just so happened to be the best of friends? Thus, giving them more reasons not to move out?

There was no other reasonable explanation. She must've done something very wrong in her previous life and Katsuki Bakugou was her curse in her current life.

With a loud groan, (Y/n) flopped onto her bed and buried her face into her pillow. Closing her eyes, she released a small whine. Her bed was still warm to the touch and inviting her to just pull the covers over her head and go back to sleep. If only school wasn't a thing, then maybe she would've.

Releasing a yawn, she forced herself to get up from her bed and grabbed a pair of sweatpants from her hamper. After putting it on, she picked up a large gown she had hung on the back of her reading chair and wore it over her onesie. After making the stupid mistake of stepping foot outside her balcony, she could still feel the effects of the morning cold nip at her body and was not about to take any chances again.

Without bothering to make her bed, she went out of her room.

"Morning, (Y/n)."

(Y/n) turned towards the person also coming out of her own room while she closed the door behind her.

"Morning," she replied, her voice slightly scratchy from sleep.

"You're up early today," Mina said with a yawn as she waited for (Y/n) to catch up.

(Y/n) fell in step with Mina once she caught up and shoved her hands in her gown's pockets while they walked down the quiet corridor towards the elevator. "Yeah...I don't wanna be late like yesterday."

"Ah," she paused. "You went to sleep so early we thought you were sick. I tried knocking on your door a few times but I guess you already knocked out," she sent (Y/n) a concerned look. "After lunch yesterday...you just seemed out of it...plus you left school early and we never saw you again. Was something bothering you?"

Huh, someone cares...The (h/c)-haired girl shook her head while scratching her head. "No... I'm fine. I was just tired since I hadn't slept well the previous night."

"But honestly," once they stopped in front of the elevator, Mina pressed the down button and turned to the girl with her hands on her waist. "Who on earth sleeps at seven? It's like, sleeping in the morning while everyone's waking up."

(Y/n)'s sent her a fatigued smile. "I was just tired, okay?"

Mina dismissed her with a wave of her hand. "Fine. Fine," she then gave her a smile. "Just next time...tell me if you're at least planning to hermit in your room, 'kay?"

(Y/n) let out an airy chuckle at the same time the elevator doors slid open with ping. "Yeah sure."

The two girls entered the elevator and (Y/n) pressed the button to the first floor before returning her hand back into her warm pocket.

"I wonder whose turn it is to make breakfast today," her eyes (e/c) darted from the closing doors to Mina, who had her hand under her shirt to scratch her tummy. "Is it Midoriya?"

(Y/n) shrugged and looked down at her fuzzy house slippers. Hearing his name didn't make her want to hide as much as it did the previous day, but it certainly made her feel queasy. Guess she still hadn't fully recovered from the embarrassing shit-uation that had gone down in his room.

Ignoring the churn in her empty stomach, she grumbled. "Hopefully not."

Mina looked at her like she had just insulted a world-famous chef's specialty.

"Why not?" she protested. "I like his cooking!"

(Y/n) snorted and cast her gaze to the side. "Yeah, if you have a preferred taste for burnt egg and watery miso soup."

"Lighten up (Y/n)," Mina playfully elbowed her side. "It's too early to be throwing shade."

"It's not shade," the girl laughed while returning the favor, which Mina dodged. "It's honesty."

The elevator came to a stop on the first floor and with another ping, the doors slid open.

"Well," Mina patted (Y/n)'s shoulder as she passed her to get off the elevator. "He's just trying his best."

(Y/n) rolled her eyes and followed her out, immediately catching up to her as they made their way towards the common area. The indistinct sounds of overlapping lazy morning chit-chat and cutlery clinking against crockery coming from the common area got louder the nearer they got towards it.

(Y/n) envisioned both Katsuki's and Midoriya's faces and she began panicking.

Oh my God, oh my God, I'm about to see the-No! No! I will not panic! Get your shit together, (Y/n)! The girl took in a silent, deep breath and tightened her hands into fists in her pockets. Today is a new day, and no matter what happens, you're not letting anyone ruin it! Not even Katsuki!

Suddenly, her arm was grabbed, pulling her out of her decisive thoughts as she was yanked back to a stop. She was about to turn to question Mina when she leaned closer to her ear.

"Or you know," Mina began in hushed tones. "Maybe it's Bakugou making breakfast today. And maybe he'll be wearing Kaminari's 'my meat is my specialty' apron and you two will have this movie moment when your hands touch while he hands you a coffee cup and your eyes will-"

"Okay, no," (Y/n) cut her off while leaning away from her to send her an uncomfortable frown. "First of all, it's too early for you to start this. Second, he wouldn't be caught dead wearing that apron. And third, his turn isn't until Sunday. Today's Tuesday."

Mina rose a confused brow. "You even know when his day is....oh-" her lips twisted into a sly smirk. "Ooooh~" she then deviously chuckled while wiggling her eyebrows. "Oh, my~"

Ignoring the slight color that rose up to her cheeks, (Y/n) shot her a 'really?' glare. Of course, she'd take her words out of context.

"It's on the timetable," she tried to reason with her but only received another eyebrow wiggle.

"Oh, you read the timetable so that you could keep track~" the pink-haired girl slowly shook her head in mock fashion. "You scheming little minx, you."

The (h/c)-haired girl rose her eyebrows while narrowing her eyes at the female.

It was confirmed. Mina was on some new kind of bullshit.

"You know what-" (Y/n) held up a hand. "I'm too hungry to like, even with you right now, so-" fed up, she continued on her way, leaving the laughing girl behind.

Irritated, (Y/n) released a heavy sigh. It was a new day and she wasn't going to let it get ruined. And to start it, she was simply going to go straight into the kitchen, grab her food, sit far away from any of them and boom! First part of the day done.

"(Y/n)!" Mina called out between chuckles as she briskly walked to catch up to her. "Don't leave me behind!"

(Y/n) clenched her jaw when Mina hooked her arm with hers and turned to glare at Mina, who innocently smiled back.

"You love me."

The girl rolled her eyes. Well, at least she wouldn't have to go into the dining area alone.

Joining the others with Mina was easy as all she had to do was greet the others back, a common part of every morning and go straight to the kitchen without having to focus on people she didn't want to.

The hard part was that, lo and behold, true to Mina's premonition it was Midoriya's day to cook.

Oh. Goody.

Fortunately for her though, while they entered the kitchen, he was busy brewing up some tea so he had his back turned to them, meaning he hadn't seen them or heard them.

Yet.

"Morning Midori!"

(Y/n) had long ago given up. She knew there was no fighting it so all she did was stand there while lamely looking at him as he turned to greet Mina back, all smiles and bright sunshine.

"Morning Ashido-" his eyes met with (Y/n)'s and he flinched, completely unprepared for her presence, even though it was to be expected since she had to pass by the kitchen sometime. "(Y-Y-Y/n)! You're-You're here...too..."

Nod. JUST NOD. NOD! NO- DON'T SPEAK-ABORT MISSION! ABORT MISSION!

(Y/n) narrowed her eyes. "Am I?"

YOU DUMB CONDOM FAILUREEEEEEE!!!

Midoriya's eyes widened further and he exchanged glances with Mina before looking back at (Y/n). His expression turned crestfallen and he awkwardly looked down at his house slippers while rubbing the back of his neck. (Y/n) pinched her lips together and briefly looked at Mina, who sent her a confused yet awkward smile while her yellow irises darted back and forth between her and Midoriya.

Mina was just as informed as Uraraka, assuming that (Y/n) was mad at Midoriya because of exposing her so she "knew" what was happening between them. She may have a preference for drama, especially romance drama, but dammit if you can't cut the air with a butter knife.

"Oh wow!" so she did the only thing she could think of. Open her big mouth. "These look delicious, Midori! Thank you for the food!"

Midoriya plastered a shaky smile on his face when Mina sent him a thumbs up while picking up both hers and (Y/n)'s tray. "It's um, nothing..."

When Mina handed the girl her tray while she turned to leave the kitchen, (Y/n) accidentally made eye contact with Midoriya, whose smile faltered. Her expression never changed. It was similar to the same one she had on when he requested to speak to her and it made him feel like there was a wall between them that he couldn't quite crack.

The boy broke off the eye contact and looked to the side. He really didn't want her to make her feel uncomfortable any more by looking at her so he chose to save her the stress.

(Y/n) looked down at her tray. The pang in her chest was too obvious for her to ignore. Guess he really couldn't stand looking at her anymore, huh?

"Yeah, thanks," she bitterly mumbled before turning around to follow Mina out of the kitchen, leaving Midoriya to brew in his own conflicting thoughts.

Once she managed to find a seat, (Y/n) released the breath she didn't know she had been holding. She stared at her tray for the longest time before drawing in a deep breath and shaking away her depressing thoughts. Picking up her chopsticks from the side of the tray and breaking them apart was when she noticed the contents of her breakfast.

A bowl of sticky rice and a fish that looked like it was burnt in hell instead of being properly roasted. And don't get her started on the dry as fuck egg. Seriously, (Y/n) grimaced while she poked at the poor fish with the end of her chopsticks, who let that boy cook? It's like he's never cooked a day in his life. Well, she knew that much considering he let his mom do all the cooking but even for an inexperienced person, his attempts were just sad.

She looked around the dinner table and saw the others talking and laughing while eating as if there was nothing wrong. As expected, they wouldn't complain. No one would want to hurt the class' cinnamon roll's feelings. Well, expect for Katsuki, who wasn't eating and had settled for coffee instead.

Maybe that's why he was screaming earlier. The fish scared him.

While her eyes remained on Katsuki, she frowned as the other night's memories rushed into her mind. She still couldn't believe that Mina had actually tried to convince her to sit with her and the rest of Katsuki's gang, knowing well that Katsuki was there. She had politely declined and gone to sit farther away from them or anyone else.

She had settled for a peaceful day and a peaceful day was what she was going to have. Whether the universe liked it or not.

And going back to the previous day, she had done everything possible to avoid both him and Midoriya and it worked for the most part since both of them were also avoiding her. Luckily for her, the day didn't go as dramatically as she thought it would. From lunchtime to the time school ended, classes went on as usual. And no one even talked about the game. It had almost started to seem like nothing had happened the previous night except for some points of the day where she would remember that she couldn't freely talk to Midoriya anymore and that for some fucked up reason, Katsuki was mad at her.

Like...what??

The part for Midoriya, she could understand. But Katsuki? And now that she was well-rested and thinking clearly, she still couldn't wrap her head around how he managed to make it about him and get away with making her the bad guy.

Had she completely missed something?

The sound of the empty chair next to her being pushed back snapped her out of it and she turned to look at the person who had decided to join her company.

"Morning."

"Mor...ning?" (Y/n) gave Shouto a puzzled look as he made himself comfortable. From the looks of it, he was done eating or had opted not to as he had carried nothing with him to her table of rejects. "Can I help?"

Glancing at her tray before looking back up at her, Shouto folded his arms over the table. "How was your night?"

Choosing not to fuss over his presence since he had the right to sit anywhere, just why next to her, she slightly shook her head and dug her chopsticks into her rice.

"I was asleep," she responded before shoving rice into her mouth.

"How did you wake up?"

"Perfect one minute," swallowing, her eyes fell on Katsuki and scowled. "Frothing with hate the next, you know," she lifted her shoulder in a half-shrug. "The usual."

"He wasn't too pleased with Midoriya's cooking," Shouto said, seemingly having had seen the look (Y/n) had sent Katsuki from across the table.

"Hmm, makes sense," she nodded with a shrug and took another bite of her rice.

When she was done chewing, she swallowed with a grimace. She looked down at her rice. It didn't taste half-bad but it didn't go down easily either. If they were ever going to get married, she'll never let Midoriya step foot into her kitchen.

After she pinched another clump of rice and shoved it into her mouth, she realized that Shouto had been silent for a while and that he was staring at her from what she could see from her eye's periphery.

She turned to him with her mouth slightly full and eyebrows furrowed.

"Fwat?"

"Why did you block me?"

(Y/n)'s face went blank as she slowly chewed. She then swallowed.

"I'll sneeze on you, go away."

(Y/n) flipped the page of her English textbook and flitted her eyes across the page before writing a practice question in her exercise book. She then paused for a while and flipped the textbook's page to the previous one to confirm something. When she was done, she returned to her current page and wrote the answer to the question.

"Hey, guys," (Y/n) looked up from her book to Mina, who was tapping the end of her pen against her lips. "Ever wonder which dance moves you'd bust out if you were held at gunpoint, and they threatened to shoot if you didn't impress them?"

Ojiro gave the pink-haired girl a puzzled look. "Why...would you ask that question, Mina?"

Mina let out a mix between a whine and a groan and leaned back in her chair.

"'Coz I'm boreeeeeeed," she drawled out the last syllable and crossed her arms behind her head. "Instead of giving us work to do, why couldn't Pres. Mic just tell us to read for ourselves?"

"Because free period is meant to gain more knowledge that you can't gain while in class," Tsuyu said while she continued writing her questions in her exercise book.

"I know but..." Mina pouted as she turned to look at Kirishima's group. "Why did I have to be stuck in the group of nerds?"

(Y/n) rose an offended eyebrow at the 'insult' and followed her line of vision to see what she was looking at.

Around Katsuki's desk, was Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero, the three having have rotated the nearest desks, including (Y/n)'s, to face his so that they can conduct their group assignment. If you can count Kaminari rolling pencils and pens in his hair and pretending they were hair rollers while Kirishima and Sero laughed like banshees "group assignment".

(Y/n) saw why Mina wanted to be with them. To engage with them in their tomfoolery. It was honestly a surprise to see how Katsuki was tolerating them considering that back in Junior High he would've wrung their necks. Guess that goes without saying that he indeed had made some...friends.

Not that she cares.

Looking around the class, the rest of the students had grouped up according to their friend group or people who they got along with better. Theirs though was filled with rag tags. But (Y/n) didn't mind them all. The group she had chosen was a peaceful one, with them gathered around Kirishima's desk, the only regret being Mina whose attention span was shorter than a warthog's.

On a normal day, she would've grouped up with Midoriya, Uraraka, and Iida but due to her circumstances, she couldn't. Plus her vacant spot had already been taken by Shouto. And due to that, Uraraka was sitting next to Midoriya when normally, she would sit next to (Y/n) to her right while Midoriya sat in between her and Iida and nowhere near Uraraka. So yeah, that's another thing that changed.

Again, not that she fucking cares.

Because why should she? They weren't talking. Duh.

But if Uraraka tried to pull the 'you have something in your hair' excuse again with him as she did ten minutes ago, (Y/n)'s blood pressure will rise.

"Are you okay, (Y/n)?"

Tsuyu's question made her avert her eyes away from Uraraka's smiley face to Tsuyu. Blinking, (Y/n) simply nodded, hoping that her earlier feelings weren't accidentally given away her expression.

"Why, what's up?" she asked while looking down at her exercise book to try and continue her work to keep her mind off things.

"It's nothing," Tsuyu placed a finger on her chin. "You looked like you were glaring at Uraraka."

(Y/n)'s head snapped up. Oh fuk.

"Ah...well, uh..." her gaping mouth kept opening and closing as she tried to find the right words to say. She then played it off with a sheepish chuckle. "I-I was just...thinking-I remembered something that-" she smacked her damp forehead and let out another embarrassed chuckle. "I just remembered something of mine that, um, Uraraka has and forgot...to return so...yeah...hehe..."

Mina and Ojiro exchanged glances.

"You could've just said you weren't," Tsuyu said. "I wouldn't have pushed it further."

The (h/c)-haired girl's eyebrows rose. Stretching her lips sideward, she stiffly nodded before looking down at her exercise book. "Right."

"Attention class!" Iida's authoritative voice suddenly boomed throughout the classroom. (Y/n)'s group and a couple of heads turned around to see what the standing boy was on about. On noticing that not everyone had kept quiet, he rose his voice. "Everyone!! May I have your attention!!"

Shushing sounds directed towards the noisy minority managed to silence them so that they can listen to Iida's announcement.

"Everyone!!" Iida held up an open textbook and pointed to a section to the page. "It has come to my attention that some of these questions do not have their references in this textbook! In order to be able to answer them efficiently, the required books must be acquired from the library!!"

Sudden silence swept through the whole class.

"...I think it was already obvious."

That random monotonous comment caused some of the students to break into snickers and snorts while the others dismissively shook their heads and returned to their conversations as if he hadn't said anything of importance.

"Damn," Mina turned back to her group members and rested her chin on her palm. "Being a class rep is tough."

"It only depends if the crowd itself is tough," Ojiro said as he looked over sympathetically at Iida being consoled by Midoriya and Uraraka.

(Y/n) hummed to herself while she flipped through her textbook. "He is right though...we need that book if we're going to answer the rest of this assignment."

"Are you offering to go, (Y/n)?"

(Y/n) paused mid-flip and sent Tsuyu a look. "Why me?"

"You need a break."

The (h/c)-haired girl released a sigh and cast her gaze to the side. Maybe she did after that self-exposure two minutes ago.

"Fine," she pushed back her chair. "I'll go get it."

"Yay for (Y/n)!!" Mina cheered her on supportively, earning an eye roll from (Y/n) as she rose from her seat.

The (e/c)-eyed girl looked around the class and noticed that along with her, Yaoyorozu had also volunteered from her group and was confirming with Iida which book they were supposed to take. With a string of dread forming in the pits of her stomach, (Y/n) realized that she also had to go ask Iida for the name of the book which required her to actually go to where he was. Exactly where Midoriya was too.

Shit.

"(Y/n)," she looked down at Tsuyu, who was pointing over at Iida's table where Yaoyorozu and the recently joined Tokoyami were getting information. "Why don't you go ask Iida the name of the book?" Tsuyu looked up at her. "He must know the name."

I'd rather deepthroat Kirishima's croc. "I'll take my chances," with a fake smile, (Y/n) sent her a peace sign. "Laters."

She then turned and left the class.

***

(Y/n) gently brushed the tips of her fingers against the spines of the row of books meticulously arranged on the large shelves as she walked through the Literature section. Her eyes roamed over the books' titles, both peeled for the one that seemed likely to contain the answers to what she was looking for. When she found one that looked high-key filled with answers, she hooked her finger over the book's head and took it out.

Opening it, she flipped through the pages while quickly skimming through its contents. She then let out a frustrated sound from the back of her throat when she didn't find what she was looking for and returned the book to the shelf.

Placing her hands on her hips, she lifted her head and looked at the books stacked on the higher shelves. Maybe if she checked them instead of the lower shelves, she'd find it.

"Find what you're looking for?"

(Y/n) turned her head to see who had spoken and stepped back with a flinch when she was met with someone's chest. She sent the boy a glare and ran a hand through her hair.

"Will you stop appearing next to me all the time?" she scolded him in a hushed tone while she turned back towards the shelves. "Jeez..."

"What are you even doing here?" she asked, continuing her search of the book. "Are you lost?

"I came to pick up the book," Shouto said, his hushed tone matching hers.

(Y/n) opened a book she had grabbed. "Oh."

Shouto turned towards the shelves and flitted his mismatched eyes over the books' spines before taking one out and opening it. (Y/n) shot him a sidelong glance and looked him up and down. Figuring that he probably was looking for a book and not there with ulterior motives, she looked back down at the book in her hands.

"Did you talk to Midoriya?"

(Y/n) set her lips in a thin line and snapped the book shut. And there it is.

She placed the book back into the shelf. "I haven't had a chance to."

Shouto sent her a challenging look. "You haven't or you just didn't want to?"

The female stared at him for a while, her eyes narrowing. He was being awfully chatty that day and it wasn't because he shipped her and Midoriya.

"What do you want?"

"Why did you block me?"

The elephant in the mothertrucking library, ladies and gents.

(Y/n) and Shouto looked at each other for a while, the only sounds audible around them being the muffled stillness and hushed atmosphere punctured occasionally by the flipping of papers and hushed whispers from the other students in the library.

The girl looked over her shoulder to make sure that the old librarian wasn't within sight before turning back to Shouto.

"Because you deserved it," she said then passed by him to get to the other side of the shelf.

The dual-haired boy returned the book to the shelf and followed her. "For being honest?"

(Y/n) stopped in her tracks and turned around to face him.

She rolled her tongue over her upper teeth while she slowly nodded to herself. She then huffed out a silent, single laugh and shook her head.

"And here I was considering you eligible for parole."

Shouto tucked his hands into his pockets and maintained his eyes on her. (Y/n), choosing not to back down that easily, crossed her arms over her chest and refused to break eye contact.

How hard could staring down someone be? Besides, she was dead set on keeping him blocked after blatantly insulting her then admitting it to her so it shouldn't be that hard.

It'd take a miracle for him to get her to unblock him.

Shouto tilted his head, causing his hair to slightly fall to one side of his face and somehow, his expression had softened a tad bit, catching (Y/n) off-guard.

The girl's composure faltered and she gave him an uncomfortable once over.

Perhaps she might've been a little bit too hasty in her thinking...

"O-okay fine! You win!" she whisper-yelled as she threw her arms in the air in frustration as she finally caved. But she wouldn't let him off that easily. "You wanna be unblocked?"

Shouto nodded. (Y/n) held up a finger. "Do one good deed for me...and maybe I'll be generous, okay?"

"Alright," Shouto agreed, his eyes following her while she rolled her eyes as she turned to continue searching for the book.

"Ha?" at the voice, the boy looked over his shoulder to see Katsuki stare at him from the other end of the section. Katsuki's widened eyes immediately turned hateful. "You fucking half and half bastard!"

Having heard the rough, familiar voice, (Y/n) froze. While praying to gods that it wasn't who she thought it was, she turned, only to sigh in defeat when she saw Katsuki stomp towards Shouto.

Great. She scowled. Who let this other pain in my ass into the library?

"Why the fuck are you in this section?!!" Katsuki yelled in Shouto's face while jabbing a finger in his chest, obviously having no regard for the library's hush rules or what is considered personal space. "Huh?!! Piss off, you fucking side character!!"

"Sure. But ladies first," Shouto responded, his expression composed and unaffected while he inwardly questioned himself what he did to deserve being yelled at.

An angry vein jerked in Katsuki's temple. "Hah?" his form began to tremble while he clenched his fists. "What'd you say to me?"

This is no time to- ugh-oh my God- (Y/n) briefly glanced at the ceiling while shaking her head. Guess it's time to put on my big boy pants and mediate before we get kicked out of here.

Cautiously, the girl approached the two with her hands held up in a placating gesture.

"Hey guys," she said in a low, calming tone while she looked back and forth between them. "Can we not yell?" she directed her attention towards Katsuki and smiled at him. "We're in the library and-"

"SHUT UP, YOU CERAMIC BITCH!!!"

(Y/n) froze. Clicking his tongue, Katsuki turned and left the section while muttering colorful words, leaving (Y/n) blinking at the empty spot he was standing on a few seconds ago.

Slowly coming out of her fixed state, (Y/n) awkwardly put her hands together while she still tried to process whatever had just happened.

"Wow," she said to no one in particular. "Okay..."

Once again, she was made out to be the bad guy and ended up suffering the consequences.

And there goes her peaceful day.

"I'm sorry."

The reason, still standing next to her.

(Y/n)'s rigid smile slowly transitioned into a frown and she bit the inside of her cheek as she stiffly turned her head to look at Shouto. Looking him up and down for the umpteenth time that day, she realized that at that very moment, she would've loved nothing more than to poke his eyes out.

"What?" Shouto innocently asked. Did he do something wrong again? He already apologized, right? Wasn't it enough?

"You suck."

...Guess not.
