Dear Diary,

My new job is going so well! I'm one of the editors so I check over everything to make sure it's up to standard before it gets published; it doesn't sound particularly exciting, but I rather enjoy it. The people there are all so lovely, and I've got some great new friends.

Everything is so much better at home, too. I think Phil's a lot happier now I'm earning some extra income too, and it makes me happy knowing it means we'll be able to provide a better life for Dil as he's growing up. Despite the issue Phil and I had at the beginning of the year, it seems like everything's worked out for the best. Everything is great and I couldn't be happier with my life.

Second chances have, this time, proven to be worth it.
