Dear Diary,

Boy was today busy! EVERYONE had to stop by to congratulate Alloids on "finally" getting another victor. No one likes to talk about her last (and first) victor. Apparently five years after he won he committed suicide. He was an orphan who everyone says should have died in the arena so that someone with "a life worth living" could have won. Alloids acts like it doesn't bother her that people keep bringing him up but at night I can hear her sobbing trying to keep it all in and then falling apart.
The Gamemaker's still won't let anyone in to see Haymitch. They're supposed to have him "deprogrammed" whatever that means, in two days where he'll have his interview with Caesar Flickerman. It's horrible! They deprogram you then make you talk about what happened and re-watch the games before your eyes.

I wasn't sure how to end this chapter.. I really wanted to kinda tell what happened to district twelve's first tribute since he's not really mentioned and I kinda wanted Effie to see that sometimes being a Capitol escort means getting attached (and not just romantically speaking ). I hope this chapter makes sense to you , most of the time I think I leave most of it in my head lol.
