DEAR DIARY

My parents finally told me

They expected me to cry, 

to beg them to be together.

But I did none of the sort

I went to my best friend 

And then, I finally let it out 

I told him everything 

I cried

Then I cried some more 

But he sat silently, taking everything in

He ran his hands through my hair

He looks so familiar, like I have seen him before 

BUT WHERE?
