Annabella's POV

Things changed to worse. Brian and I are more like an housemate now than a couple. I have moved from the master bedroom where I was supposed to sleep in with my husband everyday to the guest bedroom.

Brian would bring in different women home every time to keep his company and I would hear the women's cry of pleasure every time. But what can I do?? All I do is prepare his food, clean the house now that Mrs Lucy doesn't stay with us anymore. She left to stay with her sick husband. I miss her tho. Emma is busy with work and Julie? I don't know. She is busy with her new mysterious boyfriend that no one knows about, Mirabel is busy in school and my parents are busy travelling all over the world according to them for their old age honeymoon.

I was at home alone and bored on a Friday evening when a knock sounded on our door and I was surprised as I was not expecting anyone and Brian possibly won't be home until late at night. I went to the door and was very surprised when I saw Helen, Brian's secretary and the lady I was once jealous of, at the door holding two shopping bags. What could she possibly want?

"Good day Mrs Adams" she smiled warmly at me.

"Good day" I greeted back and ushered her into the house. She looked so good in her office suit and heels. "I was asked to give you this."

I collected the bags from her and waited for her to explain further as I was surprised to see a black dinner gown and stiletto heels in the bags.

" that's your outfit for the company's annual celebration" she said.

What? Today is the annual company celebration and I'm just hearing about it?. Back then, Brian would make sure I helped in the preparation of the party. It's a very big party and people from different company and countries and we always made sure everything was perfect.

I felt tears welled in my eyes and I collected myself when I saw that Helen was still there.

"Mr Adams said the company's driver would be sent by seven pm and you're expected to be ready by then." I nodded at her and she left

It was already six when she came and I had about an hour before the driver arrives.

I took a long shower which took almost thirty minutes, I wore the floor length red gown. It brought out my curve at the right places and showed a little of my cleavage, the clothe fitted perfectly and I was even surprised I still looked this good even while I haven't been enjoying my life these past months. I added a little make up and left my long hair flowing down to my back. I loved it that way. I slipped into the six inches silver heels and a matching silver clutch. I used my silver necklace and a matching earrings. Satisfied with my look, I left the room just in time as I heard a horn outside and I knew the driver was waiting for me.

I met Brian at he entrance of the hall with some of his friends and of course his best friend. I took a deep breath and as I got out if the car ad the driver held the door open for me. I wore my best smile as I approached Brian and his friends.  As I almost got to the entrance, Brian turned as his eyes fell on me and it lingered for a while and his emotion was... Priceless? Oh it's because we're outside. I had to act around his friends and all.

"Hello everyone" I greeted as cheerfully as I could when I got to where they stood " Hey baby" I smiled at my husband too... Actually fake smiled. Brian looked at me again and I couldn't help but feel like I've done something to piss him off again.

"Hi miss Adams" A high pitched voice greeted me and I turned to face Alexis, a worker in the company.

"Hello lexis. Good to see you" I greeted back as she hugged me.

"You didn't help in the preparations this year" she pouted. I was lost for words. What would I say? Well Alexis, I didn't even know about the annual celebration until two hours ago?? And Brian would kill me right there. Everyone seemed to await my reply as they looked intently at me. I glanced at Brian who also seemed shocked.. Good for you idiot. I was about to reply but Brian did for me.

" well I didn't want to stress my wife anymore you know" he said and wrapped his arms on my waist and it felt kind of strange. The last time this happened was on our wedding day. Like seven months ago. " we're expecting a baby". What. The. Fuck... My eyes almost popped out of the socket
"Right honey?" He kissed my lightly on the lips

I composed myself before I said "yeah" so that I won't sputter. My eyes met Daniel's, Brian best friend and he gave me the sorry look. I nodded and smiled at him.

Everyone congratulated us and I just smiled back at them.. You don't know what's going on.. Only if you knew I was still a virgin. Untouched by my dear husband.

The party started few minutes later. All I had to do was greet business partners, stick to Brian's side like a gum, greet people, smile pleasantly at everyone and most importantly, be the wife of Mr Adams.

I continued smiling and acting the lucky Anabella well until one of Brian's whore actually came to the party and I was sooo angry and the only thing that could calm me at that moment was alcohol. And that was exactly what I did.
And the only thing I had in mind that time....

I'm gonna seduce Brian tonight.
