6. Pain🍁
I promptly turned on my laptop as soon as I opened my eyes the next morning. Alice sent me her letter last night just after my letter. I hastily opened it.
"Soccer,
Yesterday I called my grandmother and guessed what she exactly told me the same thing you told me in the letter. I think the best way to make your dear ones happy, first you have to fulfil your duties and responsibilities. If I can't fulfil my duties I can't keep my promises too, I guess. Thank you for listening to my problems.
Your gate and fence look really bright, it can help people to find your house. I also started taking piano lessons last year. I can play some basic tunes. Yeah, you should learn too with your sister. It's really relaxing and helps to release stress.
What about your bike? Did you change the parts?
And I want to apologise beforehand. I won't be able to write you anything for the next two days. I am going on a trip with my friends. But please don't forget to write to me about your day."
I slowly leaned back in my chair as I felt really relaxed and pleased. I was really happy that I could help Alice to overcome her depression.
When my eyes landed on my table clock I gasped as I sprung off from my chair and bolted to the bathroom. I was going to be late for my school.

"Wooohooo!!!" Ian flung his both hands in the air and howled like a wolf. I threw my head back in laughter. George tried some failed moonwalk on the wet field grass and Jake blew some kisses to Greg, the Black Swans team's captain.
We beated them into pulp, Like we promised before. Note the sarcasm.
Greg gritted his teeth and tried to kill us with his glare. All of his teammates piercing us with their death glares.
"Hey, Greg buddy," Ian called Greg, with a sweet tone, "aren't you going to invite us?"
Greg and his teammates were picking up their belongings and were ready to leave the field.
"For what?" Lucas, one of them barked at us in an irritated tone. Ho Ho, they looked really pissed off.
"For loosing." Ian winked at them with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Suck my dick." Greg spat angrily.
"Nah," Ian gave them a smug face, "I prefer girls."
They all waved middle fingers at us and left the field with super angry red faces.
"Come on everyone." Our coach, Mr. White shouted happily at us. "Let's head to the bar. Drink on me." Then he suddenly made a dead serious face. "Wait, you guys are still in high school. You can't drink!"
"We are in our final year of high school." Jake said as he put his right arm on my shoulder.
"And we all finished celebrating our eighteenth birthday." I rolled my eyes.
"Don't worry." Ian took off his sweaty and stinky dark brown t-shirt. "We already had a few drinks in Black Bull pub.
"Fine." Mr. White finally gave up. "I guess, you do deserve a little drink tonight. Don't forget to bring your IDs."
"Roger." We all said in unison.
*******
When we successfully passed entering the bar door we made ourselves comfortable in those large, comfortable 'L' shaped couches.
"Premium Beer for everyone." Mr. White shouted towards the counter. The bartender nodded his head understandingly and started filling those large crystal glasses.
After three drinks the coach got up to meet with some of his friends at the other end of the corner of the bar. My friends and other team members were lazily joking and goofing with others. I gulped down my remaining drinks from my forth glass and leaned my back on the backrest of the couch. I thought I was a little drunk. I took out my phone and checked my email box.
No new mail.
Right. Alice did say she wouldn't be able to write anything that night. Should I write down my part? But I felt really tired. I decided to write them the next morning.
Suddenly Ian nudged me. I looked up at him. He pointed his chin in some particular direction. I followed his eyes at the entry door of the pub.
Greg entered the pub with his few other team members of Black Swan team.
I looked back at my phone. "Leave them man."
"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Ian looked at me with disbelief. "I am gonna grill them till their nuts go off." He gulped down his fifth glass and got up from his seat.
I shook my head in dislike and concentrated my whole attention on my phone screen. I used to check my emails one time in a day.
But somehow I was addicted to them by then. I opened my Facebook page and went to Alice's page. There were few new photos she posted. By those photos I guessed they were from her trip, she was talking about. It looked like she was camping with her friends.
She was driving attentively. She looked so gorgeous in a dark maroon full sleeve top. Finished the look with a dark pair of glares. Her hairs were flying with the wind, like thousands of silk threads.
In the second picture she was sitting on a big rock peacefully by the side of a...I guessed a lake.
I scrolled down every post of her with a stupid grin on my face. Every picture of her was beyond beautiful.
Suddenly my fingers stopped at the ninth picture. Smile slowly wiped off from my face. She was sitting on a car closed hood, wrapped in the arms of a boy affectionately, around our age with a heart contented smile with both of their faces.
My throat suddenly felt dry.
I slowly looked down at the caption of that picture.
"The most close person of my heart."
THROB!
My chest started to ache so much as if my heart was burning. The pain was so unbearable that it reached to my fingertips.
Oh God!
She had a boyfriend!
