Astrid's POV

"Astrid?" Ruffnut asked as she sat down beside me and stared at the ocean with me.

"What?" I asked her.

"Are you okay?" Ruff asked. I shook my head. It has been a couple of days since I got that letter, and I just can't stop thinking about it.

"No! I'm not okay!" I yelled at her as I ran to Stormfly and jumped up on her back.

As we flew around, Stormfly and I trained on some new tricks, and as we were about to land on an island, we saw a figure there. We hid behind some trees and saw something black running around. As I took a closer look at it, I saw that it was a Night Fury.

Stormfly and I flew up and landed behind some trees. We silently walked towards the Night Fury and as we came closer to it, we saw a man sitting by a map. I just stood there for some seconds.

The man was wearing a weird kind of black leather armor, and from what I could see, he had auburn messy hair.

The Night fury noticed us and I realized  that it was Toothless. And that meant that... That. The man turned around, he was smiling, but then he noticed me.

"Astrid?" The man asked.

"Hiccup, is that you?" I asked him. He nodded and scratched his neck. Before he could say anything, I began speaking.

"Hiccup, why did you leave?" I asked him.

"And please say the truth" I added. He came closer. He stroke my cheek.

"A morning about five years ago, I walked into the woods, and there a man grabbed me and told me that if I didn't leave Berk, he would hurt you. And he said that I couldn't contact you either. So I started sending anonymous letters" Hiccup said.

"W..was that you said in the last letter true?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"No, I lied... And since I have grown a lot, I have gained enough confidence to say that I love you more than anything in the world, but I know that you doesn't feel the same" Hiccup started walking away.

"Who said that?" I asked him. Hiccup slowly turned around.

"Tell me Hiccup, who told you that I don't love you as much as you love me?"
