Pi

"Zero, question."

Mula sa binabasang newspaper ay nag-angat siya ng tingin sa akin. Like he always does on a Saturday  morning when he's off from work, he would have coffee with me on our pantry.

"Ano iyon?" tanong niya.

"Paano mo malalaman na gusto mo ang isang tao?"

He thought for a while, eyeing me a suspicious look kaya agad akong nagrason.

"Uh, just asking for a friend." Come on Zero, just buy it!

He didn't but still nag-isip siya ng isasagot. "When he's all you could ever think of."

Oh shit, lately that's it pero hindi ako naniniwalang isa iyon sa mga symptoms na gusto mo na ang isang tao. Hell, I kept thinking of Flavio and his ugly face but that doesn't mean I like him.

Ew. NEVER.

It's been three days since that hot session on his car. Honestly speaking, Ryu Vander-Morisson is like a drug. The more dozes, the more addicted you become. He wasn't even my type but I am longing for his kisses these past days. Sinubukan kong magpakalayo at idinistract ang sarili mula sa kanya but then he really hook me.

Agad naman akong nag-iwas g tingin. I know Zero knew me so well kaya mahirap magsinungaling sa harap niya. But I am not lying if I say I do not like Rocket. I am just drawn by the undeniable sexual attraction between us.

He doesn't look convinced but he still drop the topic. "Any plans today Pi?"

Yup, last night I made up my mind. I'm going to see Rocket, say hi and give in to my urges. I'm not fond of playing all by myself duh, why would I when I know he's there? Or even without sexual intercourse, I am going to see him and make use of his ability.

"Yup," sagot ko at humigop ng kape. "And I have some little request too."

"Tell me this is not some dangerous stuff again that you're up to," nag-aalalang sabi niya.

Tumawa lamang ako. "Of course not. I just need the basic drugs I always ask, and oh, keys of your villa."

"Anong gagawin mo?" tanong niya. "I hope you don't get yourself in trouble Pi."

"You know I don't," sagot ko. What am I, a damsel in distress? I am the distress, duh. I know how to use my head before acting. Impulsive people are someone I cannot stand much. Ibinuka ko na lamang ang palad sa harap niya.

He looked at it for a while bago napabuntong-hiningang kinuha ang kumpol ng susi mula sa bulsa at inilagay iyon sa palad ko.

"Thanks Zero, you're the best!" I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek bago umalis doon. Before I left the pantry, nakasalubong ko ang naka-crutches na si Flavio.

... but seeing him in such pathetic state somewhat makes it up.

"Flavio, anong nangyari sa'yo?" tanong ni Zero. He's the real type at walang ni katiting na kaplastikan.  I hate Flavio since I was a kid, so he hates him too. Kung nagpapaka-plastik ako madalas just to show Dad that I am fond of his friend, pwes iba si Zero. He wouldn't hide his dislike.

He calls him Flavio instead of Uncle.

I remember back when we were young he stabbed him with a fork on the side because Flavio made me cry.

So Flavio stabbed him back with a bread knife, what a sore loser. Bata pa lamang si Zero noon ngunit gumanti siya!

So I stabbed him with a fork, along with a bread knife. Of course he wouldn't dare to stab me back! So nagawa kong ipaghiganti si Zero that time.

Zero got a bread knife stab wound on his side, Flavio got a fork, a bread knife and a fork again stab wound while I got nothing.

Huh nakakamiss ang ganoong panahon. I can stab him directly and then get away with it. Ngayon, malabo. Pagagalitan ako ni Daddy kapag ginawa ko iyon.

Nagbaba si Flavio ng tingin sa dalawang paa na naka-dressed. "Some bastard plucked my nails."

Muntik na akong matawa. Gusto ko sanang makita si Red aka Poseidon in his corny codename and just kiss him for a job well done. I hope he made it hurt so bad as he plucked it. Malamang nakangisi na ngayon ang baliw na si Cronus habang nakatitig sa memento ni Flavio whch were his toenails.

"Sino?" tanong ko. I know who but I just want to see him get angry over it.

"Hindi ko alam, malamang mula sa mga kalaban na'tin."

Opsie. Vander Mafia is not a foe. Maybe 'his' foe though. 'yan ang napapala ng mga taong traydor. Ah, can't wait for the day that Cronus and I will have his dead body as memento.

"I see," wika ko at tuluyang umalis doon. I returned to my room and dressed. I need to see Cronus for a high five; Red for a thumbs up and Rocket for our weekend getaway.

Rocket's expression was priceless when he saw me get off my car. It took me a while to convince the guard to let me in. Mabuti na lamang ay nakilala ako ng isa sa tatlong guard. He told them I was with Cooler the other day kaya nakalagpas rin ako bago ko pa man mabaril sa mukha ang guard. He pissed me off and I was a second away from grabbing my gun on the side of my car's seat.

"Hi!" bati ko at tinanggal ang suot na shades sa mata at itinaas iyon sa ulo.

"You're here."

I think I rolled my eyes. "Obviously, duh. Are you seeing apparitions of me lately kaya tinitiyak mong ako talaga ang nakikita mo?"

He just frowned at me. "What do you want?"

"I'm taking you--" Hindi ko pa natatapos ang sasabihin nang isang sasakyan ang huminto sa gilid ng sasakyan ko. Mula sa driver's seat ay bumaba ang mommy niya. Yup I remembered her, I mean who wouldn't? Isa pa ay hindi pa rin ako kumbinsido, in their attitude sense, na anak nga niya si Ryu. Like, pretty momma is pretty and pretty and kind and kind just like reaper girl I met before. But rocket?

"Hi!" salubong ko sa mommy niya at hinalikan ito sa pisngi. My plans for today with rocket requires approval-- hindi mahalaga ang approval ni Ryu but his mom's approval is important.

"Oh, Pi, right?" she said with a smile.

"Yup!" Glad she remembered.

Mula sa kabilang pinto ay lumabas ang isang lalaking naghihikab pa. If I am a pedophile, I think I would like this guy a lot but he really look smokin' hot despite that lazy facial expression he had.

Siya 'yong tipong parang pumapasok lamang sa school para matulog.

"Move Zywon, kanina ka pa natutulog ah!" midget said to the kid. Well, not really a kid, mukhang magkaedad lang naman sila. But the kid looks like someone I knew.

And it hit me kaya napatingin ako kay Rocket. Then to the kid. Then back to rocket.

Itinaas ko ang isang kamay, "Question!" Lahat sila ay napatingin sa akin kaya sinamantala ko na iyon para magtanong. "Is that kid," turo ko sa lalaki, "and Rocket, by any chance siblings?"

Midget smiled as she nodded. "Yeah, you can tell by their evil aura right?"

Pretty momma clapped twice. "Why don't we go inside? Medyo mainit dito eh."

Pumasok kaming lahat sa loob at naghihintay lamang ako ng magandang tiempo para ipagpaalam si Rocket. Tita volunteered to bring us snacks kaya naiwan kaming lahat sa sala. Rocket was oddly silent at nakatingin lamang sa akin.

I decided to break the ice by speaking.

"So, he's the bro you told me that you're training to become a hacker-- hey oh my god I didn't realize you already told me from the start that you're a hacker!" bulalas ko. It was stupid of me, I should have realized sooner. "So siya nga ang tini-train mo?"

Midget choked on her saliva at mukhang anytime ay gusto niyang matawa. Wait, what's midget's name by the way?

Napatingin siya sa kapatid ni rocket. "Ryu's training you to be a hacker? Really?"

Kid glared at her. A glare that seems like it means something. Huh, these two are keeping a secret! I wonder what it is.

"Shut up Just Amber."

Midget just rolled her eyes before glaring at rocket at muling ibinalik sa cellphone niya ang tingin. So her name is Just Amber. Okay. Noted.

Thank goodness it wasn't long when pretty momma came back with a tray of sweets and chocolates. She offered me at nakangiting tinikman ko naman iyon, at gayundin ang ginawi ni Midget while kid chose the chocolate.

"These are good, Tita," bulalas ko. "I love baking I hope I'm as good as you!"

Gumanti siya sa akin ng ngiti. "If we're both not busy you can drop by anytime and I'll teach you how I make my cookies and desserts."

"Seriously?!"

She smiled and nodded. "Yup!"

Oh my gosh oh my gosh I wold really be here one of these days!

"Did my children already introduced themselves?" She walked towards midget at hinaplos ang mahabang buhok nito. "This is my daughter Amber."

Kung hindi pa nasabi sa akin ni Cooler na medyo kumpikado ang sitwasyon kung bakit naging nanay nilang tatlo si Tita, I would have wondered till now. Whatever complication that is, ayaw ko na lamang munang itanong sa ngayon.

"Not Just Amber?" naguguluhang tanong ko.

Ryu smirked, and his bro also smirked. What?

"No," Midget replied, throwing a glare at the kid. "He's just good enough in making my blood boils. Sa katunayan, silang dalawa."

Huh bros.

Lumapit naman si Tita sa lalaki at hinaplos din ang buhok nito. "And this is my baby, Zywon."

I think Rocket smirked. Mukha naman anytime ay ngingisi si Zywon sa kanya para mang-inggit.

I smiled sincerely. It's really great to have a mom. I miss my mom. Kung buhay pa siya malamang nameet na rin niya si Rocket at si Cooler.

"Hi, I'm Pi."

"Anyway, napadalaw ka nga pala Pi?" Tita asked.

I almost forgot. "Ipagpapaalam ko lang po pala si Rocke-- I mean Ryu. We're going somewhere for a weekend getaway."

Tita said 'sure' at the same time Rocket said 'no.' pero gaya ng sinabi ko, the only approval that matters is his mom's.

"Shut up Rocket I'm not talking to you," wika ko at ibinalik kay Tita ang tingin. "Thanks Tita!" I pushed Rocket away. "Go pack some clothes."

"No--"

I remembered one time, nagreklamo siya kay Cooler na ginagamit nito ang kahinaan niya ang that's his mom. I think I can use that weapon too!

Ha! Ha!

"Tita 'yong anak n'yo po ang tigas ng ulo!" sabi ko at lumabi.

Rocket scowled at me. He looks like he wanted to wipe away that pout in my face.

"Ryu, come on it's a fine invite from Pi," sabi sa kanya ni Tita. She really had that sweet voice that seemed to make rocket compel to everything she said.

"Mom..."

Ngumiti si Tita sa akin. "Are you leaving now?"

Nakangising tumango ako.

She looked again at Rocket, giving him a smile. "Go pack your things Ryu."

He sighed, glared at me before he trudged towards the stairs.

"Sorry about that Pi. Medyo may topak minsan si Ryu pero mabait naman siya."

That's what Cooler said too but hey I don't want to believe. Ryu is devil, period.

Pretty momma excused herself from us para kumuha ng inumin. Naiwan naman kaming tatlo roon, Zywon smiled as he looked at the stairs kung saan paakyat si Rocket.

"It's good you invited him for a trip. Hindi masyadong umaalis si Kuya unless related sa trabaho," sabi ni Zywon. "Are you his girlfriend?"

Hell no.

"Ew no. I'm Cooler's future wife," mabilis kong tanggi.

They looked confused but midget was quick to recover. "Zywon, you know your brother don't do girlfriends. He told me before he's got enough bitches he can play with anywhere other than in a bedroom. In case you forgot, your brother is hoe who do his bitches in the car, bench or anywhere."

I choked on my cookie, damn it.

Apparently, I am just one of Ryu's bitches.

Why does it sounded so aggravating?!
