We're like animals in heat, or maybe it's just me.

Though he doesn't look like it, Ryu was surprisingly gentle to me.

Umiling ulit ako. "No, they're beautiful."

She frowned and gently tapped my cheek. "Hey mister, no need to lie just to make it seems you're nice. Anyway, I am giving you another round in case that's what you wanted."

A groan resonated through my chest. "I mean what I said."

Huminga siya nang malalim at tiningala ako. "Thanks."

I pulled her closer to me, arm slung on her hip. She was so tiny upclose like this. "Are you feeling better?"

I know she was upset this whole time, maybe the sex was a diversion. "You fine now?"

She slapped my chest. "Asshole, you think we fuck because I was upset?"

I shrugged a bit. Maybe yes, maybe no.

I chuckled again but it was cut off by a ringing phone. Nagakatinginan kaming dalawa bago hinanap kung kaninong cellphone iyon. Apparently it was mine, coming from my clothes I took off before swimming na marahil ay dinala roon kanina ng taga-ayos.

I leaned to get the phone from the pocket of my jeans. It was a call from Poseidon, one of our reapers.  Agad ko iyong sinagot.

"Apollo, where are you?" he asked, calling me with my codename which means this call is business related.

"Somewhere," sagot ko. "Why?"

"Something terrible happened, Zeus was shot and he's bleeding to death," sabi niya. "You know your cousin, he won't leave unless his work is done no matter how fatal his shot is. What are we supposed to do now?"

Napahinga ako nang malalim at minasahe ang sintido ko. This is not cool. I hate it when Cooler overwork himself thus compromising his safety most of the time.

"Okay, I'll be there in an hour Poseidon, make sure you give him first aid at nang maabutan ko pa siyang buhay. By then I'll finish the work and beat the hell out of him, got it?"

Nang pinatay ko ang tawag ay agad akong bumaba ng kama para magbihis, only to find titless fully clothed and tying her hair.
