CHAPTER THREE

Not that Alana would admit it , but  she'd been waiting fo ash ti shoot her a message when he'd left that night. She'd went to sleep not much longer after he'd left,
Maddy deciding it was time to leave.

She'd gone to text ash a couple of times , remembering each time they 'hated' each other. Even though they did 'hate' each other the two often texted just simple hellos and asking about her brother.

And she knew he'd been around , h stopped outside of their house a few days ago after picking up ceser from jail which turned into a full crying session after Alana spilled all her problems to her old brother who simply laughed at how emotion the girl got at times.

During ceser being out , ash had actually brought the girl up in their conversation once or twice. And ceser would explain that he knew nothing about her love life.
Even though he did, but he knew how lame his sister would feel if he brought up Ethan.

» whats got you so intrested in my lil sis anyway ? » Cesar asked the brunette , they were at the store as usual. Ash sitting in his usual spot near the freezer and fez sitting in his usual deck chair, blunt between his lips that the two were sharing. Cesar was sat on the ground leaning against different fridges.

» i'no know man, she was sat with fez at mckays party. » he replied shrugging as fez but in » he drove her home after she did molly ».

» my sister did molly ? » Cesar asked feeling the anger coming out of his voice, » did you give her it ? »

» no man , rue must've » fez and ash replied at the same time glancing at each other.

» she used to be very different » he hummed , » she never did much except weed when I left » he laughed slightly to which the two oniel brothers hummed in agreement.

Time changes though , right?

» imma call her, » Cesar muttered to the two before walking away slightly to call Alana. » can you come pick me up? » he asked down the phone high.

» sure » he heard a little mutter before the call ended.

It isn't like ash was planning on making anything happen between the two , yeah. He knew for s certain fact she was hot, but she hated him. And the  fact she wasn't so innocent anymore intrigued him into knowing why, it made him notice her more.

In his mind , if someone was gonna take the innocence from her he wanted it to be him , even though she wasn't innocent anymore. He knew he could be respectful towards her- even if he didn't believe in love. Not someone like Nate Macon's who had tried once or twice. Which resulted in him getting punched in the face by ceser.

Alana had pulled up parking the car; knowing the two would be a while before returning home.

The girl was in a simple all in one body suit ( short one ) with some sneakers and a light cardigan what covered her shoulders. With just a tat makeup on  ( mascara, lipgloss, blush, bronzer ) .

» yo! Lana » ceser called over to her , urging her to come inside.

» hey » she spoke quietly , clearly high. Playing with the sleeves of her cardigan hoping her brother wouldn't notice , but he did.

» are you high? » ceser asked which snapped the girl out of her daydream, looking up she nodded before sitting on the counter with an eye roll when she laid her eyes on ash.

She didn't hate him in fact , it was the opposite. She hated his snarky attitude towards her, if he was nice. Maybe she'd show some kindness too.

» did you hear about nate? » rue bussted in behind Alana who told her sternly "stay here" but of course, the girl didn't listen.

» no , what about him » they all replied at the same time except Alana who rolled her eyes already knowing.

» Maddy broke up with him, » she hesitated before continuing » he told her he fucked Alana ».

» what the fuck bruh » fez widened his eyes, the three knowing it wasn't true due to the scowl on Alana's face.

Maddy knew it wasn't true, she knew her best friend wouldn't do that. But hearing nate talk about her the way he did, she immediately ended it.

» the boy wishes, » Alana muttered before continuing her rant over her hatred for her jacobs boy. » he's lucky he can stand near me, never mind sleeping with him » she grimaced the last part as the three laughed amused by her hatred for him. Except rue who stood awkwardly in the corner.

Alana got bored quickly , making her way to the fridge so she could buy a redbull.

» 2.75 please » ash muttered glaring at the annoyed face she pulled. Before she pulled the money out handing it to him,

» leave the change ash , she's good » fez told his brother who only nodded.

» are you sure? » she asked , making sure. » I kinds feel bad- »

» nah it's cool, you his sister » he gestured over to ceser who watched amused at his sisters annoyed face.

It all lasted until a familiar face walked in , Ethan. Alana's ex who physically abused her for a year. She tensed in her seat not that the two boys noticed. But ceser and rue sure did. Who looked over noticing the boy.

» ahhh Alana , long time no see » Ethan smirked looking her up and down, the girl grimaced at the boy before nodding in greeting.

» that'll b 10.67 » ash said which turned Ethan away from her.

» what the fuck are you doing here ? » ceser practically growled to which Ethan snapped his head around , eyes slightly widening at the sight.

» getting things » he muttered suddenly loosing all the confidence he had when he stepped into the store.

The boy practically ran out the store at the glare ceser sent him , rue also glaring.

» who was that? » fez asked confused as to why his best friends were glaring.

» Ethan Jacobs » Alana revealed staring at were the boy once was , her body was stiff to which the 4 took notice too.

Fez soon clicked on at the name , looking over at everyone.

» well we should be going- » Alana laughed it off before gesturing ceser and rue to go. » it was nice seein you ma » ash finally spoke with a slight smile before the two left. Leaving ash and Alana.

» yeah , you too » she smiled before leaving.
