Shravan's POV

Her ID card!

That's what drew my attention as I was walking to my office. My hand reached down on its own to pick it up, and I was surprised to see that she had left it on the floor. It must have slipped when her documents fell.

The careless girl she is!

Although I could have returned it the next day and asked the guard to let her in without any proof of identity, I couldn't understand why I went to her house to return it to her.

Maybe I was still irritated by the way she spoke to me in the middle of the road and how she behaved with me right now in front of my man despite knowing that I am the chairman's son.

I needed her to apologize or I wouldn't be able to concentrate on my work. That's why I decided to use it as a weapon against her to force her to apologize.

Without putting much thought into why I was doing this, I drove to her house.

Although it is not like I am running behind a girl yet whatever it is, I don't want my men to come to know about this. It won't take long for the rumors to spread in our office, and she'll find it difficult to stay here with such rumors.

When I arrived at her house, the main gate was open. Although I should have rung the doorbell, I decided against it.

I walked into her house like an uninvited guest so I received the welcome just like that only. Before I could take even a single step into her house I was welcome to buy a hot Samosa landing right on my nose. And the one who threw it was none other than Aadvika.

I learned her name from her ID card.

Before I received the Samosa, a boy younger than our age, most likely her brother, was shouting Addu Kaddu, which irritated her.

Addu Kaddu!

She came to a halt when she realized who she had thrown the Samosa at.

But the samosa on my face made me even angrier. She is causing more problems for herself.

Her mother's warm welcome soothed my rage in some ways. Her brother, who appears to be very mischievous, mysteriously vanished.

When her mother asked her to assist me in getting clean, she muttered something under her breath that I missed.

I discovered her undergarments in the bathroom while cleaning myself, again demonstrating how careless this girl is! I was aware that she was peering into the bathroom and staring at me, but I pretended not to notice.

When I got closer to her, her breath stops, implying that she is getting affected by our proximity and why shouldn't she when she was so close to me? After all, she is also a girl!

But I won't deny that my heart was also racing fast when she fall on me in an attempt of getting her ID card. Although I don't like anyone winning over me yet I am not sure why I let her take that ID card out of my grip especially when she didn't even apologize for her mistakes.

When her mother asked me about my name and introduction, I didn't tell her my real surname or the position I hold in my company because I thought it would make her more respectful of me and she might start referring to me as sir or something. And I didn't want that because she is just like my mother and I don't like elders to give me respect just because of my money. This is something my mother taught me.

I don't like sugar in my tea, but I drink it in her house because I don't want to break her mother's heart. She is so loving and sweet unlike her.

But I liked the reaction she gave to me when I called her Addu Kaddu.

And I'll never forget her expression when I asked her to sit closer to me for work. She looks super cute when she is angry or irritated.

A gentle knock on the door jolted me out of my reverie. But before I could respond, the person on the other end of the door slammed it open and stormed into my room.

"What the....." I was about to yell at the person but I stopped midway when I saw who is it.

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped down. I was not expecting her at this moment!

"Arya!" I exclaimed in disbelief as I still couldn't believe my eyes.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"What?" She placed her hands on her waist "Can't I come to my brother's room?" She asked.

"I mean to say you didn't inform us," I said leaving my chair.

"Yes, that's because I wanted to give you a surprise, and if I had told you I would have missed the chance of seeing this expression on your face. You moron!" She threw the pillow at me but I ducked in time.

"Stop it, Arya. We haven't even met properly and you already started fighting"

"That's my right since birth!" I narrowed my eyes at her.

She always pulls up a fight first. She is the one who has been messing with things since childhood and I just fix everything for her and still, I get this in return!

"Aww, come here" She spread her arms for me.

"No!" I denied "You stink"

"I hate you!" She stomped her feet on the ground. Her ego hurt! Exactly what I wanted!

"I hate you too!" I snarled back.

"Looking at the two of you, no one could say you are twins," the voice behind us, made us turn our heads. "I believe it's not even one minute of you both meeting and you have already started fighting like kids," the Son of Prem's uncle, Aditya, and her daughter Ayesha entered my room.

"You know he has been that way since childhood. How can you expect this man to love his sister when he isn't interested in girls?" Arya asked.

Aditya laughed as she rolled her eyes.

"Come let's get down. Don't you want to surprise your dad?" Asked Adi "He has returned from work"

"Really?" Arya asked in pure excitement and jumped at her place.

As much as I love my mother she loves her father. But Father loves her more and Mother loves us equally.

Arya walked out of my room and ran downstairs while Aditya followed her.

"How are you?" I heard a soft, low, and sweet voice from Ayesha who was still in my room.

"I am fine Ayesha. How are you?" I asked her and she nodded with a wide smile on her lips.

She always gets happy even if I speak one or two words with her. Her eyes shine brightly and she chews her lower lip, which she usually does out of nervousness and she always tries to find a chance to talk to me whenever we are alone but with others, she is too shy to even open her mouth.

She is still a kid. Aditya hasn't let her little sister grow up.

"Shall we move down?" I asked and she nodded.

As I walked down the stairs I found Father to be utterly happy looking at his daughter.

"My princess" he spread his arms for her and she ran to him as if it is the only safe place for her "What a pleasant surprise" he kissed her head.

"I missed you so much, Dad!" She sniffed.

"I missed you too, my princess"

Uff so much drama!

"What about me?" Asked mother from the back.

"I missed you too!" She ran to her and give her a bear hug.

The smile on my mother's lips brought a wide smile to mine as well.

"Your smile is so beautiful and mesmerizing" I heard Angel's voice, in all this I forgot that she is still standing by my side "Why don't you smile often?" She further inquired but in a low tone.

I looked straight without replying to her and walked down the remaining steps.

"Why didn't you tell me that you are coming? I would have come to pick you up. You know that no matter how busy I am, I am always free for you" her father said.

"I wanted to give you a surprise Dad," she told him.

"And I loved it!"

"Com'on' settle down," Mom said to everyone "Let's have dinner together" she proposed "I have made Arya's favorite dishes on her homecoming"

"Mom, how did you know that I am coming?" Arya asked in disbelief.

"That's because I am your mom" she chuckled.

"Mom, I am serious"

"I knew that your summer vacations are starting and you can't stay away from your family" she smiled.

"Yes and it is Pari who invited us for dinner because she knew that you were coming," Aditya told us.

"But she forgot to invite us" Prem's uncle's voice made all of us snap our heads back.

"Sorry Prem" My mother apologized while holding her ears, "I thought you must be busy"

"You know I am always free for you, girlfriend" He chuckled and pinched her cheeks.

"Prem!" Father warned him, the way he does every time.

"Sorry," Uncle Prem raised his hands in surrender.

And all these years I have learned that Prem's uncle loves to tease his father and I believe this is only because of him, they are childhood buddies. Both of them are like fire and ice.

"Com'on', I can't wait to have dinner"

Prem uncle dashed over to the main seat at the dinner table, as he always does to tease Dad. All of us settled one by one, and their chit-chat began, in which I was uninterested. Ayesha served food to everyone but she served me only those dishes which I like. She knows well about my likes and dislikes. It is not like anyone ask her to do that but she loves it and always helps my mother.

While chewing on the food I cut myself off until I was asked a question that drew my attention and ruined my mood.....
