3| First Meet
Shravan's POV
When my car came to a stop, my eyes were tightly shut and my fingers were so tightly wrapped around the steering wheel that my knuckles had turned white. My heart was thumping in my chest as it had never thumped before, and my blood was pumping through my veins at twice the normal rate. My body was completely out of its control and everything happened so fast that my mind didn't get the time to process it.
When I opened my eyes after a few minutes, I saw a crowd surrounding my car. My first reaction was to slam the door open and come out to bash the girl who had come in front of my car to give her life.
She was sitting on the road with her face covered with her palms. Only if she was a male I would have punched her right away to instill some sense in her head.
"What the hell were you trying to do?" I yelled, "If you want to die, go to the railway station and jump in front of the train instead of coming in front of my car!" I continued ranting while she sat in between the traffic.
When it became too much for her, she folded her fingers, covering half of her face and her big, shiny eyes, which were filled with rage and frustration, came into my view. When her hands moved down slowly and her face came into full view, I forgot everything for a split second. With those attractive features, she appeared cute and innocent to me.
For that brief moment, I was lost in her eyes, and the world around me vanished. Even though there were so many people around me, I felt as if there was no one except her.
No other girl has ever distracted me as she does. I shook my head to break her spell and began shouting at her again to make sure that I was normal.
"If you're thinking about making money from this, let me tell you..."
"Chuuuuuuuppppppppppp (Shutup)" she screamed at the top of her lungs which stopped me in my tracks "ekdum chup! (Just Shutup!)" She again shouted and her voice sounded louder than mine.
"Before scolding me, you should look at yourself too," She said while standing up to stand against me.
She was short for my size, but her confidence towered over her.
"Do you want me to look at myself?" I asked, irritated by the tone she used to talk to me.
"Not in the mirror, but at your mistake," she clarified.
"What exactly do you mean?" The girl is already perplexed, and she is confusing me as well.
"You are to blame for driving while I was crossing the street!"
She said loudly, her eyes ablaze and throwing fireballs at me. I could hear her frustration in her voice, which fueled her rage even more. But that does not mean that she would prove wrong as right. It was her fault that she crossed the street blindly. Anything could have happened if I hadn't applied for the break at the last moment. She could have died, and I could have ended up in jail.
"Do you mean I should have been flying my car through the air just because an angel named you were walking down the street?" I asked sarcastically, and the people watching the show around us burst out laughing.
As the people began to laugh, her attention was drawn to them, and she began to look at them one by one. When her gaze returned to me, I noticed small tears forming in the corners of her eyes, but before I could notice them, she blinked several times, absorbing the moisture from her lovely eyes.
I felt guilty the moment I saw those tears in her eyes. Yes, I have anger issues just like my father but I can't see anyone in pain or crying because of me just like my mother. She must have felt humiliated looking at the way strangers are laughing at her.
Have I said anything extra?
But no matter what, her tears will not make me forget her mistake. It's her fault, and she owes me an apology.
I am not going to spare her like that. She can't take the advantage of being a girl.

Advika's POV
I was grateful to the man driving the car for applying the break on time to save my life, and I wanted to thank him from the bottom of my heart, but before I could, he began shouting at me, which not only aggravated my temper but also frustrated me even more.
I was initially just listening to him because it was my fault, but when it became too loud for me to hear, I asked him to shut up. Not asked, but yelled at him because he doesn't appear to be stopping anytime soon. He was shouting at me nonstop.
The way I yelled reflected not only his frustration but also the buildup from the incident that had happened to me since the morning. I yelled to vent my frustration, but it only worked on him because he became quiet, but I was still not at ease. I began ranting about whatever came to mind. I was so preoccupied with reprimanding him that I didn't notice the people around me. I became aware of their presence when they began laughing at my remark about an "angel walking on the road." His words pierced my heart and brought tears to my eyes, which I quickly blinked away because I didn't want to show him my frailty. He is the kind of man who could make fun of anyone at any time.
"Get back to work!" He yelled at the audience who were enjoying the show for the past few minutes and they all started scattering around as if he is a boss who has ordered him. If a man is wearing a coat and is driving an expensive car then the people start worshipping him as if he is a God.
My eyes narrowed at him for once. I am not going to spare him for what he has done with me today. He has made fun of me in public. I will surely show him, who am I!
But for now, I don't have enough time to mess with him so I decided to leave this here and moved ahead in my path.
As I took a few steps ahead of him, I was about to fall when he caught me by wrapping his right arm around my waist and placing his other hand below my head to keep it in place.
The wind began to blow, and the world around us became hazy.
From afar, it would appear to be a typical scene from a romantic story, but not for us. My hands, which were wrapped around his shoulders, were itching to squeeze the life out of him.
I felt compelled to look at him as he began to stare deeply into mine. For a brief moment, I forgot where I was standing as I gazed deeply into his eyes. That tenderness was visible in his eyes. He isn't as tough as he appears from the outside. He is only pretending to be.
As his eyes moved around my face, mine did as well. It was the first time I had seen him up close.
He is undeniably attractive, with those sharp features that could make any girl fall head over heels for him, but not me. Because I am the type of girl who values nature over appearances.
When his eyes stopped on my lips and lingered there for longer than necessary, I was jolted out of my reverie. Before I could react or respond, his face began to move toward me.
Seriously?
I tried to change my mind after looking into his eyes, but his action proved that I was correct. He's a scumbag.
I cleared my throat and drew back from him. Before adjusting his coat and taking a step back, he blinked and cleared his throat trying to act like a gentleman which of course he is not.
"Jerk!" I murmured.
I said this lowly but he caught my words. He has got big ears.
"What?" He asked but I ignored him and walked straight, focusing on my way forgetting his existence.
I no longer have the strength to fight him. My energy is already depleted. I will take care of him, and then we will meet again because the world is very small, and I believe we will meet again, and only then will I exact my revenge for now I need to reach my destination as soon as possible.
"Advika!" Someone called my name as I walked ahead.
"Rohan!" A wide smile spread across my lips when I saw my cousin waiting behind me.
"Would you like a ride?" He inquired, displaying his brand-new bike.
"Oh my goodness, Rohan. You have no idea what you have done. You have come as an angel for me," I thanked him while walking around his bike.
As the word angel came out of my mouth I remembered how that man humiliated me in public but I shrugged away the thought before it could ruin my mood again.
"Come on, let me drop you," he suggested and I didn't take more than a single second in accepting his offer and hopping on his bike.
