A very happy birthday to you my dear friend. I hope you have a very happy, happening and health (H3) year ahead. Love you!

And my dear readers, this chapter doesn't have a shraman scene because this chapter gives a build up to the story and marks beginning of 3 simultaneous relations. Hope you like it. Next chapter will be up as soon as I finish writing.

It had been a week they started college and for the first day Teju carried the giant criminal law book to look for that running moron. But unable to find him and tired of carrying it she gave to Suman. It now sits in her locker.

Teju was coming out of her class and walked towards the reading hall to wait for Suman. At the hall she came across the college magazine sale. She bought one and sat at their table. She was looking through the book when someone patted her head.

"Ouch! You moron..." She was about to shout when she saw her.

"What?" Suman raised her eyebrows at her and sat in front of her.

"Oh! You Suman I should have known such strong hands."

"What were you so busy with?"

"College monthly magazine. Just bought it from there."

"Something interesting?"

"Nothing babe! You can look through." She gave the magazine to her. Suman kept it aside and said,

"I'll see later. Right now I've to tell you something."

"And that is...."

"I've a match tonight."

"Don't tell me you want me to come."

"Please!"

"Suman! You know right the first time I  went to your match what happened? You lost. And you were so hurt that day." Teja made crying faces at her and pouted cutely.

"Oh! Teja it was my first fight and I was an immature fighter."

"Whatever! I'm not coming. Sorry."

"Yeah! Fine. I need to leave, have to do some warm up." The magazine went inside Suman's bag to be ignored for how long no one knows.

"Okay! Let's leave together then."

.......

After winning her match she returned home only to see her Mamiji arguing with Mamaji for the burnt potato fry he was making.

"Now, what will Dabbu eat? He doesn't like bitter gourd that I made." Mamiji glared at her husband.

"Look, Manju give Dabbu pickles today he'll manage." He said discarding the burnt dish.

"No, my poor son will have pickles for dinner!"

"Wait! I'll ask Preeti to make something."

"You'll disturb her studies."

"Ahh! Then what do I do? Cook again? I'm tired from all day of office."

"Ask Suman to cook."

"She's not home yet oh there she is." Sameer's Lin of sight went to Suman who was putting her shoes away.

"Its okay mamaji I'll make something for Dabbu." Suman said and moved ahead.

Suman went in her room and freshened up. The match had made her too tired to even keep standing but she has to cook. She went to kitchen and she cooked the easiest thing she could think of.

After dinner, she did some college work and slept while reading a quantum physics book.

Nothing new! Her life was normal until next day when she didn't had a match as well as Teju had extra sessions at lab. So she had nothing to do other than studying in the reading hall. So that's what she did. After an hour she felt the need to have a coffee so she left her stuff at the table and took her bag to stride towards cafeteria. She got her coffee when someone patted her from back and as she turned someone took her glasses away.

"What are you doing?" She said at the person who had come from nowhere

"Hahaaha! Tell me how many fingers are these? Do you see me? Oh you see me twice right? Poor nerd!" Urvashi tried to make fun of Suman but only thing she could think was how childish this girl was.

"Pathetic!" This type of tease she had had in elementary school.

"What you just said?" Urvashi said glaring at her.

"Keep them if you so want them!" And the most Urvashi can do was gape at her.

She sat back at her table and began reading her book again with spare glasses. But no someone had to disturb her again.

"Hey!" A girl came and sat in front of her.

"Err!" Suman didn't even give her a glance.

"I'm Vandy." She introduced her with the same bubbly voice.

"You were the one who  allotted me Nerd block. I know you." This time Suman looked at her and gave her recognition.

"Yeah! Right I'm that person. Here your glasses. Well the mauve glasses you're wearing currently suit you more." For a second Vandy was embarrassed but she didn't find any taunt in her voice so relaxed.

"Hmm!" She hmmed because she actually could not think of a reply.

"You're not much a talker." Vandy concluded that.

"I'm thinking of your next move." When Suman said she actually looked around for Urvashi.

"Hey! I'm not that dangerous you know."

"Yeah! So?"

"Nothing!"

"Okay fine! I'll tell you if you swear not to spread the word because if Urvashi knows this she'll kick me out."

"Kick out of? Her clique?"

"No. Her house."

"You live with her. Oh! Sisters?"

"Step sisters."

"Oh!"

"I'm sorry for how Urvashi behaved with you. I would try to divert her from you. She picks on nerds every now and then." Well Vandy actually looked genuine.

"Why me?" Suman asked

"Huh!" And Vandy just gave confused

"She means why you're trying to save her." Teja said as she joined Suman.

"Not her but Urvashi." Vandy replied smilingly. Somewhere she was envious of these two.

"Huh!"
"Huh!"

"If a girl in glasses can push the football team captain two feet away on her first day then how much deep down ground Urvashi would be with her one push!"

"You saw?" Teja asked

"Yeah! You're so strong." She said appreciating Suman. She was actually impressed.

"No. Nothing like that. Just some nervous energy." Suman covered it up.

" And anyways, Burgers are stronger than that weird running skyscraper" and Teja helped her covering up.

"Haha!"

"See ya guys! By the way 'that weird running skyscraper' is looking for you, I guess." Vandy pointed towards the student notice board as she went out.

The notice board at the hall had a lost and found poster.

MY CRIMINAL LAW BOOK BY THE NAME OF THE TREATISE WITH CRIMINAL LAW HAS BEEN LOST. MOST PROBABLY WITH A GIRL IN  RED GLASSES OR HER WEIRD SHOUTING FRIEND. PLEASE RETURN IT TO ME. FIND ME AT THE CAFETERIA @12noon LEFT CORNER SECOND TABLE.

"He wants his book back." Teja said

"Go give him. Get your revenge for hurting your nose and may be you'd be popular after that." Suman said wiggling her brows.

"Don't want to be popular now. I've understood how fake popular people here are."

"So just go return and come back."

"Naah! You do it. He called me weird shouting girl, I'll get angry if I saw him and do something."

"Later then! "

"Let's go home I need some sleep."

"Can I also come to your place? " Suman didn't want to go home to either listen to her Maami's taunts or do her tasks.

"No! You need to give an application if you want to come and if me and my family approve then only you can come." Teja said in business tone.

"Yeah!got it." Suman just smiled at her as they left the college.

Love,
Zindagi.
