Once everybody gets inside, Nadwe notices a latch on the other barn door. "If the zombies can't get in then we're good right?"

Laff puts Muffin down and then sits on a block of hay. "How the hell is that kid so heavy?" Muffin notices Nadwe trying to pull down a block of metal and walks over to him. When Muffin reaches him Nadwe slams the bar down, blocking the door but also making a very loud noise. "WHAT THE HELL?!" The two turn and hear Blaza shout. "IT WAS JUST ME SORRY!" Nadwe shouts back to him.

Blaza shakes his head and a lot of the gang comes over to see what Nadwe did. "Oh hey there's a latch." Dino says pointing it out. Nadwe just glared at him. "I already found that thank you very much." Laff facepalms and leaves the scene to go look around further. There's an upstairs part in the barn so it could have tools.

"I'm gonna go see if there's food in here. I'm hungry." Tbh says and runs off to god knows where. And soon enough the gang disbanded looking around the building.

After a few minutes everybody came back. It was getting cold and a lot of them were shivering. "Should we start a campfire?" Oof asks out of the blue. Everybody looks at him. "Ya know what? We should've thought of that." Oof nods agreeing with Socks. "So who's gonna get the wood? I don't see any in here." Everybody starts looking at eachother. "Why don't we have about two to three people that go out there together and get the wood? With those things out there we need to be extra careful." Joocie suggests looking around. "So anybody gonna volunteer?" Everybody sits in silence for a bit before Dino shrugs and stands up, "I'll go if the furry goes." Woolfster looks up at him with a frown. "We both have knives so I guess it's fine." Tbh gets up and walks towards the door. "I'll go too, just to get it over with." A lot of people that were sitting down on the hay bales sigh in relief that they don't have to go.

"Somebody gonna help me lift this bar up?" Tbh mumbles in question. Laff gets up and goes to help him. After a few minutes the barn door is open. The sun is setting, it may be a pretty sight but that means they have limited time. "There's trees all around here, we need to be quick though. Stay close." Dino says walking a bit further into the woods. Woolfster grabs Tbh's hand and quickly follows Dino. They all have to look carefully and not make noise. Tbh turns and sees a walker awfully close to the barn. They have to keep the door open for us. We got to be quick.

Woolfster starts picking up some sticks and rips off bits of bark from the trees using his pocket knife. Dino pulled out his machete and looks all around them look for any walkers. Soon enough Tbh wanders a bit away from the two to look for some more sticks. Tbh accidentally steps on one and looks around. Not seeing any walkers, he crouched to the ground and started to pick up a few sticks. But before he could get up, he heard a slight growl behind him.

"You guys were slow." Socks mumbles as Woolfster and Dino walk inside then throw the sticks and tree bark in the middle of the floor. "It's a bit darker than before.." Blaza mumbles and looks behind the two furries wondering where the third member of their group was. "Where's Tbh?" TBVG asks almost reading Blaza's mind. Woolfster looks at Dino who shrugs. "I'm here! I'm here!" Tbh says getting inside and shutting the door behind him. He throws down the metal bar, locking them in once again and making another loud slam that echoed in the barn.

"Took you long enough." Oof says rolling his eyes. "Where were you?" Tbh throws the sticks to the ground and looks at him smiling. "Looking for something to light the campfire with." Socks facepalms, "Shit.. we forgot we actually need to make fire." Tbh smiles and holds out a small mud-covered lighter, "I found this in a small ditch. I reckon somebody came by here as well. Maybe to light a cigarette or two, and yes it works." He says as he flicks the lighter on. "WARMTH HERE WE COME!" Muffin shouts unnecessarily loudly. "MUFFIN SHUTTUP!" Laff whisper shouts, "DO YOUSE WANT THOSE THINGS TO FIND US??" Muffin shakes his head in shame and walks over to the other fifteen year old and hugs him. "Why don't we all start the fire and sleep down here?" Oompa shrugs at his suggestion. Meme ignores it and starts heading upstairs, "I don't want those things to burst the door down."

"But you don't want to be freezing either do ya?" Dino says glaring at him. Mad at the fact that he, Woolfster, and Tbh risked their lives to get firewood and he wasn't even going to get near it. "Look I'm scared okay?! You can't blame me. Muffin and Nadwe are too young to be in something like this as well! They also have the right to be scared and so does everybody else! I don't care if I freeze to death. It's honestly better if I do at this point.." He then climbs the ladder and reached the top. "It's better than experiencing a long lifetime trying to escape something that will be here for god knows how long.." Meme's feet made the wood underneath him slightly creak with each step as he walked to the corner of upstairs.

"It's disappointing that whoever owned this barn had to make the upstairs all out of wood, maybe then we could've made the fire up there instead." Tbvg says feeling a wood post that was supporting the upper floor. Joocie looks over at the fifteen year olds, "If you guys want to go upstairs that perfectly fine." He says shrugging, "I want to go upstairs." Muffin says and looks at Nadwe who shakes his head. "I'll be fine down here." Joocie nods and grabs Muffins hand leading him to the upper floor and a few minutes later, returns by himself.

Everybody starts getting situated near the nice and bright fire, not too close, but enough to where they can get warm enough. Muffin and Meme were doing fine upstairs, they decided to stay near the ledge where they could feel a bit of the warmth. Meme held Muffin in his arms to also help him keep warm during the night. Apparently it was 26 degrees according to TBVG. Though they would have to get up probably early in the morning.
