"Boss!" Hoseok turned his head sharply and stood up, meeting a panting Taehyung. Namjoon and Seokjin ran after him. "She's alive!" Taehyung said breathlessly, grinning from ear to ear.

"For God's sake, boy, slow down!" Seokjin stopped and bent over, resting his hands on his knees and trying to catch his breath. "What did you find?" Hoseok looked impatiently at Namjoon, who seemed to be the only one able to speak at the moment.

"On the morning after the incident, an Italian private jet took off from the airport. According to the staff, one of the passengers matched Kara's description." he lowered his eyebrows and Hoseok's throat tightened.

"She was put on the plane on a stretcher. She looked extremely ill. We found out from the border inspectors that medical records were presented that the passenger required emergency treatment abroad, specifically Verona, Italy." he explained and Hoseok looked at him thoughtfully.

"I don't know anyone there." he rubbed his forehead. "I do though." Yoongi caught everyone's attention. "Kara's mother was from Verona and so was her father." Hoseok raised an eyebrow. “You think..” Yoongi nodded. "Probably yes. I hadn't thought of that, but it's the most likely explanation in this case." he sat next to Hoseok.

"We don't know a name or where to look for her, we can't just run our people into the middle of Italy. We'll start an international war!" Seokjin looked at Hoseok in horror. "That's exactly what we're going to do. I'm not leaving my wife in the hands of those pasta lovers!" he growled.

"I have some acquaintances there, they might ask?" Namjoon suggested and Hoseok nodded, leaning back. "Prepare everything, people too, I want to leave in 48 hours maximum!" he ordered, looking Yoongi straight in the eyes. He nodded calmly, as if he was being ordered to make tea.

"He will come, you know it, and the city will turn into a blood bath!" Kara hissed.
Vittorio Torelli glared at his "Daughter".

"He has no power in Verona, I command here!" Vittorio growled and Kara laughed coldly. "Money has equal power everywhere, and Hoseok has enough to buy all of Italy if he chooses!" she pouted and clicked her tongue.

"Even so, money doesn't buy loyalty, and he has to find you first. Until then, you'll either be married and Massimo will deal with him, or I'll have killed you personally if you keep getting on my nerves. " Vittorio shrugged and Kara laughed. "What a caring father!" she shook her head and stood up, standing with her back to him and looking out the window.

"This isn't a game, Daddy!" Kara smirked and he raised an eyebrow. "You don't know Hoseok or the rules of the Korean mafia." she looked over her shoulder at him and there was pity in her eyes, she felt sorry for him.

She had always thought that Italians were at least a little closer to Koreans, but she was wrong. They were soft, hiding behind the muzzles of their guns and empty talk.

It was nothing like the bloody life she was used to in Korea. Hoseok would sweep him right out the door and she would dance on his grave.

If she had been kidnapped like that in Korea, no one would have waited ten days for her, putting up with her mood swings, or tolerating the fact that she had already managed to kill several of his men who had dared to approach the room she was locked in.

No, she would be long dead and buried somewhere, and her body would never be found by anyone but some predator who would gnaw on her bones.

"You are weak and naive. Your people are stupid, though disciplined. You are bound by only fear and no respect." she looked out the window again. "Never threaten the Queen of the Korean Mafia unless you are ready to face the wrath of her husband, the King!" Vittorio narrowed his eyes, annoyed at the way Kara was underestimating them.

"The choice is yours Kara. You have 24 hours to decide, then I will stop tolerating the fact that you are my daughter!" Vittorio got up and went out.

"Where are you, mi amore? Would you really believe I'm dead?" Kara thought, leaning her forehead against the glass.

"No, of course!" she smiled to herself. But she was actually helpless at the moment. She didn't know exactly where she was, except that she was in her mother's hometown. She didn't know anyone, she hadn't been able to escape, although she had tried several times in the ten days since she had been brought.

The Italians may have been soft-spoken, but they certainly knew how to set up a guard, and she didn't have her weapons. Among other things, she thought they must have put something in her food because she hadn't been feeling well the past few days and had fallen out.

Kara rubbed her forehead thoughtfully. If it fell into Massimo's hands, it would be even more difficult to escape. The only time she had seen him was when Vittorio informed her that he was her future husband and his chosen heir.

Massimo was anything but soft. He had pinned her, leaving bruises on her shoulders and forearms, and had warned her that if she wanted her head to stay on her shoulders, she had to be a good girl. Then he had kissed her, drawing blood from her lips.

Kara shuddered at the memory and felt sick. She had to find a way to escape, and as soon as possible.

Her gaze wandered around the courtyard of the mansion where she was being held. She counted at least twenty armed men and about seven more German Shepherds and Rottweilers, who glared at anyone approaching them before growling and walking past, smelling a familiar scent.

If Hoseok didn't find her soon, that would be the end of her for them, because she wouldn't let Massimo get close to her again when Vittorio delivered her into his hands, and if Massimo didn't kill her, she'd probably die in one of her attempts to escape.

Hoseok looked around the stone walls of the neat little houses covered in flowers and paintings. Italy was primitive, nothing to do with Korea and the luxury he was used to.

"Vittorio Torelli is the one we're looking for." Hoseok turned and nodded. "What do we know about him?" he asked and sat down on the small wooden piece of furniture that was supposed to be a couch or something.

"Aging mobster starting to lose ground. Will use Kara to regain his glory, naming a successor." Namjoon leaned against the wall and crossed his arms.

"Did you get to see her?" Hoseok asked hopefully but Namjoon shook his head. Hoseok lowered his head and closed his eyes, rubbing the base of his nose.

"We'll find her, hyung!" Jimin tapped him on the shoulder. "I know my sister, she won't be easy for them. She's probably already causing them more problems than solutions to this Vittorio's problems." Yoongi grinned, trying to calm down Hoseok, who had already gone off on his own twice to find his wife.

"I know she is, but I can't stand not knowing how she is anymore." Hoseok jumped to his feet again and started pacing the room aimlessly. "Don't forget she's the queen, Hoseok!" Seokjin stood next to him and stared out the window as well, far more impressed by the beauty of the city than Hoseok was.

"In two days Vittorio is giving something of a reception. He was going to announce his heir and introduce his daughter." Namjoon handed his phone to Yoongi who read the message with raised eyebrows.

"And how does he plan to force Kara to attend without causing him trouble?" Taehyung asked in surprise and Hoseok looked at him thoughtfully. "No way, unless she's unconscious or drugged." Hoseok gritted his teeth and Seokjin and Yoongi nodded, furrowing their brows.

"Make your man know where the event will be, time to show up and get my wife!" Hoseok growled and punched the wall. "Are you going to attack them directly?" Namjoon asked and Hoseok nodded, grinning evilly.

"We already have an insider to help us." he turned to one of his suitcases and crouched down, opening it. He took out a roll of leather locked in several straps and lightly stroked the clasps.

"To find out where Vittorio is keeping her as well, I'm sure my Kara is dying to show her father how much she appreciates him!" he gave Namjoon a sidelong look.

Vittorio would pay. Maybe Kara was helpless right now, but Hoseok knew her, she craved blood and she would get it as soon as he could find out where she was.

It was obvious to the others in the room what Hoseok was up to, they also knew Jung Kara and having access to her knives, it was going to be a fun night.
