Eren's POV

One of my favorite times of the day is the early morning. Since Levi doesn't sleep as much, whenever I get up he has coffee ready for me and we sit out on my balcony. His head rests on my shoulder, making sure to be well away from my neck, while I sip on my homemade deliciousness with an arm around his waist. And we just sit there. Watching the sun come up. It really is breathtaking, and I enjoy every minute of it. Especially when we talk. Now, however, we were not talking. Just staring out. Until Levi shifted a little and asked,

"Hey, Eren?" I made a "mm?" noise in response.

"I was wondering... Would you like to go on a trip with me?"

I nearly dropped my cup. My face lit up and I whipped towards him. A trip with Levi?! THAT WOULD BE SO FANTASTIC!!! I wonder where we would go and what I would wear and if we could finally-

"If you don't want to thats fine. It was just a thought..." I took his hands in mine and grinned widely.

"Of course I want to go!!! But... go where exactly?"

He seemed to have an answer prepared, since he replied immediately.

"My family owns an island. It's not shitty, so we can go there if you'd like."

A tropical island. Beaches. Levi in a swimsuit... I nodded quickly.

"I have some savings in my account, but it's probably not all that much so we may have to wa-"

"I won't hear any of that shit. Isn't it obvious I'm paying for it all, brat?" He said, strictly monotone, but I think I heard amusement somewhere in that cold tone.....

"N-No! I'm not gonna let you just-"

"Shut up. I'm rich, remember? Years and years of paychecks and not having to buy groceries can have a big effect. So stop whining and let me handle this. We're leaving now by the way, so go pack."

"WHAT?"

---------EIGHT HOURS LATER------

Levi's POV

I stepped out of the jet that my family also owns, and blinked, very annoyed, at the sudden intense sunlight. I've only been here once, as a child, and it had been... pleasant. So I thought Eren would like it. It was a gigantic circular island, with a white sand beach running around the entire thing. Farther up from the beaches was a tropical forest, one I've always wanted to explore thanks to its size and mystery. The beach hou- the beach mansion was hidden within the dense trees but still had an excellent view. Eren and I would be able to hike, swim, or explore anytime we wanted to. But there was one thing I had to warn him about.

"Eren, everything is open to you on this island, except the far side," I pointed to the north as I continued, "A filthy tribe of cannibals live over there, I'm not even joking. Since we don't come here so often we decided to let them stay, so they're here, and they're dangerous. So stay away." People probably don't think cannibals still exist. but hey, if vampires do, then of course man eating savages do, too.

Eren gulped and nodded, pressing closer to my side as the jet flew off, leaving us to follow the stone path to the mansion.

We walked hand in hand until we saw the rather magnificent stone house. Eren lit up noticeably and rushed forward, leaving me walking behind chuckling. He ran all the way around the wrap around porch and finally burst through the doors. I could hear his heart accelerating in excitement as he explored the house, evidently liking what he saw. Since I was the one with the superhuman strength, I was carrying the bags, which I set down nicely on the floor, before my fave scrunches up in disgust.

"Filthy!" I spat, looking over the dust covered room. "Eren! Come here, we have some work to do!"

I could hear his groan as he clomped back downstairs.

"Stop whining, can't you see how disgusting this entire place is?" I opened my suitcase and brought out my cleaning kit (always be prepared) and threw him a duster. Then we set to work.

As we cleaned, I thought through my reasonings for bringing Eren here. Yes, I did want to have some time with him, but I also wanted to be somewhere special when I p... When I p-p-pr-pro- When I did the thingy! So, I came here. And I know he wants to do the do, He's very easy to read. But I'm not risking killing him, so I have another idea. Though I'm not sure which order I would like to go in...

"This looks good. Eren, I'm going to take a walk. You can do whatever you want, just be careful."

As I walked out the door I could almost feel his mouth twist into a smirk.
