Isaac, Ellie and a resistance's group, enter to a deserted warehouse , which would become a nest of a colony of Necromorphs, and where there would be eggs. These Necromorphs's eggs pose a threat to the resistance. They enter the warehouse. There was blood everywhere and a whiff of death and rotting flesh. They avacent carefully in the building, looking around them. They arrive at the entrance of a very dark tunnel.

(Isaac) :"The eggs are probably in there. "

(Ellie) :"Turn your flashlights, we will descend into the tunnel . "

But suddenly, of Wasters arise from all sides , armed with axes and growling in anger.

(Isaac) : " An ambush ! "

(Ellie) : " The bastards , how did they know that we come? "

A resistant prepares to shoot but a Waster up behind him and stabs him on the back with the ax. The man screams in pain and the blood splashing on the ground. Isaac joins the Necromorph and explodes the head of the creature with a specific shot. Ellie dodge an attack of a Waster, with his agility, and pulls in the mouth of Necromorph. The bullet through the head and the blood spilled on the ground.

The Wasters approach with their weapons and look at the group, with cruelty. Ellie and Isaac have two grenades and throw them on the group of Wasters, which blew apart.

(Ellie) : " Let's hurry , noise will surely attract others Necromorphs. "

The group enters the dark and damp tunnel. The walls and ceiling are covered with a sticky substance similar to human flesh. He reigns strong freshness. The Necromorphs love the cold climates.

A woman in the group approaches a wall and examine something that intrigues her, a small gray ball hanging on the wall. But suddenly, two eyes appear on the small ball and the creature falls on the head of the girl. The Necromorph at the size of a baby, the appearance of a baby with a gray and scaly skin, and three tentacles in the back, with of spikes. With its tentacles, the Necromorph pierces the body of the woman and kills her.

This new type of Necromorph is a Lurker. The Lurkers are dead human babies infected with the alien virus. The Lurkers are very fast and like the ambushes.

Several Lurkers appear and begin to pounce on the group to kill them. Isaac explodes the head of a Lurker and he crushes her face with her feet. A resistant is attacked by several Lurkers at the same time, the monsters begin to devour him alive. The Lurkers walks on walls and ceiling, emitting of little shrill grunts. A Lurker tries to eat Ellie's head, but the woman is a warrior and break the neck of the Lurker, who falls dead.

But the situation is complicated: two Slashers arrive to help the Lurkers. The Monsters roared of anger and rushes to the group. A Slasher jumps on a resistant and it opens the belly with his blades, then it starts to devour the bowels of human, with great savagery. Isaac goes to the Necromorph and empties the magazine of his weapon into the body and head. Several bullets through the head of the monster, who died instantly.

Ellie is struggling against the second Slasher, but she manages to get rid of and kills him, of several headshots. After the death of the two Slashers, the Lurkers flee into the air ducts or in the corridors of slimy nest.

Despite their losses, the group decided to continue the exploration of the nest. Finally, they get to the room or are the eggs. There are hundreds, hung on the walls viscous, by a kind of secretion. But the problem is that a brute protects the eggs. The huge creature growls and waits, doing nothing.

Isaac to a plan, but it's very risky.

(Isaac): "You have the explosives?"

(Ellie): "Yes, why?"

(Isaac): "You and your friends, you will drop the explosives on the eggs, and I'll create a diversion."

Isaac will try to create a diversion by attacking the brute. He comes out of hiding and began to shoot the creature, that roars with anger, tape his fists on the ground and began to run toward Isaac.

The brute tries to crush Isaac with his fists, but the soldier is faster and dodges the attack by jumping to the side. While he attack the monster, Ellie and the rest of the group poses bombs on the eggs.

( Resistant ) : "We have enough explosives? "

( Ellie ) : "There are enough to make this building It will explode out of here in a hurry. ".

Unfortunately, the Brute grabs Isaac to the leg and throws him through the metal floor of the building. Isaac had a fall of several meters and falls to the ground. Luckily, he had his armor, otherwise it would have been the bones crushed. Ellie noticed.

( Ellie ) : " Oh no, Isaac! "

( Resistant ) : " We no longer have the time, the bombs will explode!! Come on ! "

The group ran away in the tunnels, all the bombs are lit and ready to explode.

Meanwhile, Isaac gets up and looks around. he is in a huge room, which looks like a forgotten temple. There are giant pillars and ancient runes. But what attracts attention is a strange red stone, set on a pedestal in the middle of the room.

He slowly approaches and finds what it is: a red monolith. Isaac can not believe his eyes.

The monoliths are extraterrestrial stones, made by an extinct alien race, but have left a terrible legacy : the Necromorph virus.

There are two types of monoliths: the red was made to contain and stop the infection of the Necromorphs. But there are also the black monolith, which was built to lead the Necromorphs and destroy humanity.

But if red is here, or is the black? Isaac does not arise the question and takes the red Monolith of the pedestal , it could be very useful against the Necromorphs. To escape, he finds a vent and enters it without delay, with the monolith in his bag.

The brute approaches of the eggs to check and looks the bombs. The Necromorph sniffs a bomb , and at that moment, everything explodes. A huge explosion invaded the building and destroyed everything in its path. The brute, the eggs and all other Necromorphs in the building are sprayed.

The resistants watched the explosion with satisfaction, for them, it is a victory. But Ellie is concerned, Isaac is staying in there, she fears he is dead buried in the explosion.

Suddenly, a hand rises from the pile of stones. This is Isaac, he's alive. Ellie is reassured, she runs to him and helps him to extract himself the pile of stones. Isaac's armor is damaged because it was protected from the heat of the explosion, otherwise it would have been charred.

(Ellie): "You okay?"

(Isaac): "okay, I'll survive."

(Ellie): "It's great, it's an important win for us."

(Isaac): "And yet, I've find something in this building. One thing that will help us in this war."

He takes the red monolith in the bag and shows to  Ellie. She seems shocked, this is the first time she sees a monolith.

(Ellie): "You ... think that this stone will help us against the Necromorphs?"

(Isaac): "I'm sure. I've seen what the red monoliths are able, trust me. But trust also me there is one thing that worries me."

(Ellie): "What?"

(Isaac): "If there has of Necromorphs here is that there is a black monolith somewhere in the town. We must find it and destroy it, otherwise the infection will continue."

Ellie is agrees, but for now, they must return to the lair. The explosion will attract hundreds of Necromorphs and they are not numerous enough to fight, they must go.

Isaac follows Ellie and the resistance, while watching the monolith, which sparkles.
