The Dead Poet's Society was originally started on March 2019 under the name Finness Club with Samy as the founder and Suta as a member. Disappointingly, the club did not work out well due to lack of coordination and a single handed administration.

An Award was also organised but that too was not supported well. Therefore, the creators had decided to rename and renovate the club for better functioning and spreading our joint knack for literature across our Wattpad community.

On May 2020, the club was joined by Suta and Sushi once again and the periphery of the club was extended and elevated.

The aim of the Dead Poet's Assembly is to reach across Wattpad and bring out the hidden maestros each month and feature them in the DEAD MAG book along with a shout-out.

The Dead Poet's Society would form a literary community that would help budding writers to get recognized and therefore would uplift them.
