NABILA MIKAELSON never planned on dying at the bare age of 16, but she did, only this time she would find herself waking up in the middle of nowhere. She didn't know where she was, but she had a feeling it was far from home.

Most of it was a blur for the Mikaelson girl, the last thing she recalled was being buried in the woods by one of the many enemies of her father, Klaus Mikaelson.

To make matters worse, she had woken up with a strange sense of hunger, one so uncontrollable that she felt herself losing it. It was a feeling that she had seen and heard of so many times before, a vampire's transition.

She had died with vampire blood in her system.

And so, Nabila has no other choice but to blend with the new world she was in, still uncertain of where exactly that was — or if she was even really alive for that matter. All she really knew was that she needed to get back home as soon as possible, whatever it took.

But that was easier said than done, especially when the last thing she had expected was getting caught in between a certain karate rivalry, and even becoming friends with some of them.

Would they ever believe that she was practically a dead girl walking?
