Ladybug and Cat Noir were loading up their guns to head out again to kill zombies and find survivors. They never used guns at a young age but they learned to survive by shooting those things in the head. Their trademark weapons don't do much damage since the zombies are undead.

"We'll start at the Agreste mansion. Who knows what that monster has by hiding for too long" Ladybug said, loading up her crossbow.

"Where he hid my mother and kept secrets from me. Just like you did to me" Cat Noir is still a little upset with his lady for keeping secrets from him too much.

"Yep. And I've carried that guilt ever since" Ladybug said and loads her shotgun.

"And now we have no secrets because my father had to stupidly akumatize that liar," Cat Noir said.

"The positive thing is that the survivors are counting on us my prince," Ladybug said.

"Except for Chloe and her mom. Those two are so alike when it comes to being so uncaring and selfish" Cat Noir said, testing his pistol gun at the targets.

"So true kitty cat" Ladybug held her gun steady and shoots the target.

"She's never gonna change, milady. She's already lost her friend Sabrina because she's had enough of her. The mayor obviously divorced Audrey because of her uncaring attitude. And now everyone hates them" Cat Noir said, putting his pistol guns at his holsters.

"Yeah, good they left. Now let's go, Kitty" Ladybug puts her handgun on her own belt and shotgun in its holster on the back.

"Another ugly day," Cat Noir said, following her lead.

"With the undead" Ladybug swings through the roofs.

"My gun has a date with the undead" Cat Noir smirked and pole-vaulted.

Ladybug was cautious not to fall to the streets filled with zombie hordes. They both came to the abandoned Agreste mansion and they head inside. The place has been ruined by bombs dropping on it.

"There's barely anything left, Princess" Adrien walked past his old room.

"Let's try Nathalie's," Ladybug said.

"Yes" Cat Noir nodded as they headed there.

As they opened the door, a male adult zombie tackled Cat Noir, snarling for brains but the feline broke the zombie's neck and shot him in the head, "Get off of me!" He kicked him off.

"You okay, Kitty?" Ladybug asked him.

"Yup. I still got nine lives. Gross" Cat Noir removed the rotten intestines off, "Damn it, I hate it when they don't feel pain when they're dead"

"Me too" Ladybug followed him.

They soon found Nathalie's room and her corpse has decayed to bones since her passing. Cat Noir shuttered at the sight but moves on to find hidden secrets that his father kept in this mansion. Ladybug looks around for any undead that might appear while Cat Noir searches. He bangs on the walls for hidden buttons but when he came to the picture frame, it felt a little hollow.

"I found something" He opens it up.

"What is it?" Ladybug asked.

He opens it and finds some documents, one that caught his interest was that of a picture of his father at a young age, but as he read, he noticed his name was different, "Gabi Grassette?"

"What?!" Ladybug walked over.

"My father's real name is Gabi Grassette," Cat Noir said.

"So that means there was no Agreste family?" Ladybug said.

"Apparently yes. It's just a fraud name" Cat Noir read some more.

"That selfish bastard. So this means he was never a millionaire nor rich like your mother" Ladybug said, noticing the date of birth year is smudged.

"He only married her for money and I was merely a burden to him" Cat Noir closed the file.

"What if it's something else than money?" Ladybug asked.

"Like the miraculous and his business with Tomao" Cat Noir said.

"Perhaps they made a contract or a deal?" Ladybug guessed.

"Which explains why my father kept nagging me to bond with Kagami. Son of a bitch. I can't believe he would use me instead of treating me like a son" Cat Noir growled in anger.

"To him, you were an object," Ladybug said.

"But now we have my mother safe with us. Even if she's still in an enchanted sleep" Cat Noir said, his ears flicked when he hears more zombies coming, "We gotta go Milady!" He turns around and shot the first one but more keep coming.

"Damn it!" Ladybug takes her shotgun out and blew several heads off.

Both Ladybug and Cat noir kept firing and Ladybug dodged and fires her gun at two zombies coming at her while Cat Noir aimed for the zombies' chests and heads. He even caught one zombie and fired at its neck.

"Bite on this!" Cat Noir kicked the bookshelf to tumble down on them.

"We need to go now!" Ladybug screamed.

"CATACLYSM!!" Cat Noir touched the wall and it turns into black ash.

Ladybug grabbed Cat Noir and swung away. They land on the rooftop to catch their breath.

"Did you get bitten?" Ladybug asked.

"No, I'm okay," Cat Noir said.

"Good. At least we got the documents of your evil father" Ladybug said.

"Yep. Let's go, Milady" Cat Noir said.

They arrived back at the survivors' safehouse, meeting up with Marinette's parents. Grabbing a few Choquettes from them since they need to eat.

"Thank goodness you're safe," Sabine said.

"And healthy like a living human" Adrien ate his snack.

"Yeah, it was a close one, Mom," Marinette said.

"How's Su Han? Is he working on the potion to revive my mother?" Adrien asked.

"Yes, he is. Shouldn't be long" Sabine replied.

The teens held hands and went upstairs to the room where Su Han has the grimoire book and Emilie in the pod.

"Hey Grandmaster" Adrien greeted him.

"We have been..." Marinette said but was cut off.

"Ambushed, yes, I know. Both of you are still alive and not bitten. And yet it's been a year since we have not found the akumatized liar" Su Han drops a liquid in the cauldron, "And your mother's soul is still trapped in your cousin's brooch. Your father has been bragging about it for too much but I know that she won't forgive him for what he has done"

"Yes. I just hope she'll wake up in a world without the zombies" Adrien said.

"That is until you find this Lila person. You should have never listened to your cruel father telling you what to do, child" Su Han was still mad at him.

"I know. I should have known better" Adrien replied.

"But finding her in Paris among the zombies is not gonna be easy, grandmaster," Marinette said.

"You are gonna have to search deeper if you want to use the ladybugs to repair everything," Su Han said.

"I will try my best. This plague needs to come to an end" Marinette said.

"And If my mom awakens, she will have to know that my father is beyond evil and a fraud," Adrien said.

"Fraud you say?" Su Han asked.

"Yes. It turns out my father's real name is Gabi Grassette" Adrien said.

"Is that so? What else?" Su Han asked.

"Well, he never came from a rich family as he claimed but instead from a French fry business" Adrien continued.

"I don't know why but somehow, he probably used Audrey Bourgeois to become a fashion designer and one day marry Emilie" Marinette guessed.

"I see. Well, I need to keep working" Su Han said.

"And I'm gonna have a word with my ex-father," Adrien said.

"Good luck, Kitty," Marinette said.

"I always kick his ass, metaphorically" Adrien smirked and heads downstairs to the prison room. There he saw his father just sitting there.

"Still not used to being locked up the same way you did to me?" Adrien mocked.

"And rotting away? No" Gabriel said, the cataclysm has reached his neck.

"You did it yourself. You traumatized me that night at the wax museum. If Master Fu still had his memories, he could have found a way to bring mother back, not by causing chaos in Paris!" Adrien growled.

Gabriel did not care about it since he spent too much time thinking about Emilie instead of thinking about the consequences.

"You attacked him and manipulated Chloe so that you could take the victory. Master Fu was like a real father to me than you" Adrien said.

"And he chooses your secretive Ladybug over you as guardian" Gabriel mocked him.

"Don't talk about her that way!" Adrien got mad.

"You kept secrets from me, Gabi Grassette!" He shoved the pictures on the glass wall for his father to see, "I can't believe you pressure me to be an Agreste when it never existed at all!"

"You found out?!" Gabriel was shocked.

"Yes, you're a bigger fraud than I thought, Gabi! You used Audrey Bourgeois so you can become a fashion designer. I always knew that being friends with her made you so selfish to understand what real friendship is all about!" Adrien showed the old photo of him, Emilie, Audrey, and Andre when they were very young adults, "Not to mention you forcing me to be with Kagami when I should have chosen by my heart and not you! I should have known long ago!"

He held up his gun to intimidate his father, even if he's inside the glass prison, "Mom would be so disappointed in marrying a liar!"

"You wouldn't dare!" Gabriel protests.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't?" Adrien places it in the hole of the bulletproof glass.

"You'll just become what you hate," Gabriel said.

"Like you couldn't hate yourself for almost getting me killed by your akuma puppets?" Adrien glared, "And even trying to akumatize Marinette twice!" He added, "You are an irredeemable monster!" He shot the picture frame of the Agreste family.

"Whoa whoa!" Plagg reacted to the loud shot.

"My mother was the real parent who treated me like a son, raised me with kindness, and loved me like a mother would do. You did nothing but manipulated me!" Adrien getting his anger out on his father.

"Don't you dare speak to me like that!" Gabriel yelled.

"I can and I hope you'll burn in hell!" Adrien yelled back, "Better yet. You chose death over telling the truth to me and milady!" Adrien said.

"I had no choice but to escape," Gabriel said.

"You truly are a coward than a man!" Adrien replied.
