So a few minutes ago, my mother and I went to a Walgreens to go buy some cards. When we got there, I noticed, tied to a pole, was a female pit bull with bags next to her. The poor thing looked miserable and panicky, and tried to come up to me for comfort when I walked by. The owner of that dog must've gone into the store.

I'm sorry, but what kind of fucking asshole thinks that's okay? We live in a fucking desert. Sure it's evening, but an animal could easily overheat and die. If I'd had money on me, I would've bought the dog a bowl and some water, and a note for the owner that says that isn't acceptable. The worst part was how sorrow and distressed the dog looked. It had the sweetest, pleading eyes and it broke my heart. If I'd seen who the owner was, I would've gone up to them and scolded them, I don't care if I'm only a teenager. If you do some kind of form of animal abuse, I will fucking fight you with every ounce of strength I have, and don't think I won't. Animal abuse is not okay, and whoever the owner was does not deserve such a beautiful and gentle creature.

If you see an animal like this anywhere, please notify some kind of worker nearby or call a company. Who cares if the owner gets pissed at you, it's animal abuse.
