You wake up, drowsy and tired. "Ugh, what? It's Monday?" You say. You then get dressed, eat breakfast, check and take your backpack, and leave. "WAIT!!! (Y/N)-kun!! WAIT!!!". You see Sayori, your childhood friend. Sayori clutches her sides and says, "I-I'm so-soo sorry...I-I over-I overslept." She pants and then after a while, stops. "Umm...Yeah...Shall we go?" You ask her. She nods, then walks as you follow. "So!! Have you joined a club?" Sayori asks cheerfully. "No. But why do you care so much? It's no the end of time if I don't" you say tired of her asking. "And if I do join a club...I think it'll be the anime club...You know, manga and all that..."

Time Skip!!

You see Sayori walking towards your desk after class, asking you "(Y/N)-kun? Do you wanna...maybe check out my club? Pleaseeeeeee???" She looks at you with innocent eyes and a pouty lip. "Can I ask why? I mean, why now?" You ask, looking at her, slowly giving in to her adorable magic. "Um...I kinda, maybe, sorta....told my club members that I would get another member for the club today...But...Natsuki made cupcakes!! So can you please just come for a liiiiitle bit?" She pinches her fingers together, leaving a small gap between them. You look at her, feeling a mix of anger and gulit. "Mmmmmm....Ok...I'll VISIT your literature club. But I'm not saying I'm joining it or anything. And next time? Make promises you can keep. I'm not making any promises....Alright?" Sayori squeals loudly. You cover your ears half-serious. You and Sayori walk to the classroom her club is meeting at.

Time Skip!!

You walk in nervous. "Is their any other girls?" , "Are they're any weirdos?" These thoughts float in your head. You walk in...Nervous as heck....You open the door and...."W-girls?" You look at everyone there. Incredibly cute girls!! You see a tall, formal-looking girl with blue-violet hair reading on the floor, her back leaning on a desk. You move your head to the direction of a small girl reading under the light of the classroom window. You look at what she's reading and see that the cover is full of pink shades, some like her short bright pink hair. You also notice that this book is actually manga. Finally you look at a girl with brilliant green eyes and light brown hair, you know this girl, you know her name and it races in your head. "Monika?YOU go here after class?" You say, astonished. Monika looks at you happily, then says "And after school!! Welcome (Y/N)!! Haven't seen you in a while!!" The girl reading manga stood up immedietly and examines you from head to toe, then says disappointed "You brought a boy? Way to kill the vibe, Sayori!" Sayori steps foward, and pats your shoulder to comfort you. "Calm down, Natsuki! At least I kept my promise. Ignore her, (Y/N)-kun. Oh! The cupcakes!!" She walks to a desk in the back that has a tray full of cupcakes, to far away for you to get a good look at. The short girl you assume is Natsuki, rushes to the desk and blocks it. "No! I made them, so I get to pass them out!! Alright?!" She says defensively. Natsuki grabs the tray and passes them out. Once it's your turn to grab, she looks directly in your eyes. "T-take one already!! AND DON'T THINK I MADE IT FOR YOU!!" She says blushing violently. You take one, ignoring what she said. The cupcake looks like a white kitty with bell made out of chocolate. You take a bite and instantly feel warm inside, the bread was fluffy, the chocolate sweet, and the frosting creamy. "Um. Natsuki? This is...really good...Nice job!!" You say. She turns her in your direction, the rest of her facing Sayori, her hands slightly extended so Sayori could grab a cupcake. "S-so what!! I'm not that good at baking!! A lot of people are way better than me!! Stop doing that!!" Natsuki says as her face turns a deep red. "Do what? Make contact with you? Sorry?" You say trying not to laugh. "I think I like her already" you say in your head...

Time Skip!!  (To the next day)

You rush to the classroom where the literature club was being held, stopping as you see Sayori waiting outside. She looks at you, giggles, then says "I guess you didn't need to promise anything huh?" You realize you were only visiting last time, then accept the fact that you're part of the Literature Club. "So um, Sayori...Is Natsuki here?" "Ooooooo, (Y/N)!! Don't tell me you have a crush!! Eeeeeek!!" Sayori opens the door to the club and shouts "NATSUKI!! You have a reading partner!! He likes manga as well!!" Natsuki blushes, the hand she reserved to hold the manga, clenched the spine even harder. The tall, mature girl stood up from her desk and said in a clear, elegant voice "Wow, Natsuki. Now you don't have to read your 'literature' alone!!" Natsuki looked highly offended, "Oh I'm sorry Yuri! Did my likability disturb your lonely emo reading?" This Yuri sat down, hiding her face in her book. Monika found all of this amusing, chuckled and continues to read her book. You walk into the classroom, sitting down with Natsuki under the window. "D-don't expect me to wait for you!! I'll turn the page when I WANT!! Ok?" "Alright Natsuki,Um, what exactly are we reading?" Natsuki puts the cover in front of your face, you read "Parfait Girls" written in girly cursive. You look at it, with a slight bit of dissapointment. Natsuki see's your expression, "This is better than any other manga you've read, that's for sure!! Don't be picky!!Ugh...BOYS!!" You laugh and open the manga. "Wow" you say in your head...."This isn't that bad?" Natsuki glances at you, checking to see if you're done. "Um didn't you say you weren't going to wait for me Natsuki?" "S-shut up!! I just don't wanna come off as rude o-ok?" "Alright, Natsuki...Alright..."

Time Skip!! (You are now halfway through the manga)

"I gotta hand it to you, this isn't half as bad as I thought this would be!" "Well you're gonna love the next one, (Y/N)!! Natsuki sounds half-asleep, yet enthusiastic. A minute later you feel her head resting on your shoulder. You turn and see her sleeping, hearing her quietly snore. You continue to read. However, as she leans more on you, your right arm loses the ability to move without waking her up. "N-Natsuki? Wake up!" Natsuki jumps, looking at you, angered "Hey! Why'd you wake me up like that?! In fact, why did you even let me doze off?!" She stands up and puts the manga in the closet. "Alright, guys!! Time to go!! See you tomorrow!! Whoohoo, Friday!" Monika announces. Yuri grabs a fairly thick book, a pen, and a her bag, then leaves. "Well, uh...Bye, (Y/N). Um, here" Natsuki grabs the manga out of the closet "R-read it!! I don't wanna read those 58 issues again!! And if any pages are bent...you're dead!!" She grabs her things (a kawaii pink notebook, and a kitty pen) and leaves. You smile slightly, put the manga in your backpack, say goodbye to Monika, and leave. "I think Natsuki's warming up to me. Hehe..." You say to yourself.
