Robin I x reader

⚡️🔥⚡️Setting: You're not from the DC dimension. So basically you know a lot about everyone and they always go to you if they have questions about themselves or other people.

A knock from your door made me smile, it always was amazing to those comic book characters standing right outside of my door, wanting to see me!They were all so amazing and amazingly hot, and I never want to go back to my old dimension.

I opened the door to find Artemis standing there, looking like she wanted to run away. She was turned away, looking at the hallway

"Hey Artemis," I said. She sighed and turned to me.

"Hey (y/n)."

She looked left and right, then pushed me into my room. She closed the door.

"Uh, Artemis?" I questioned.

She went and sat on my bed, and I sat next to her.

"I want to ask you something about Wally..."

A smile overtook my face. Wally and Artemis were really cute in the young Justice tv series.

"Okay, what is it?"

"Do you think I should... ask him if he likes me?"

Right to the point, this is why Artemis is one of my favorites. I pretended to think about it, but then I jumped up and exclaimed, "Yes, you totally should!"

She seemed a little shocked at my outburst, but smiled and stood up.

"That's good, I was afraid you were going to say something like Wally actually hates me."

"Thank you, (y/n)," she said.

"Anytime!"

We both walked out of the door, and Robin was walking down the hall towards us. When he saw his, his face brightened considerably and he waved.

"Hey (y/n)! Oh, hi Artemis," he said. I chuckled.

"I'll talk to you later." Artemis winked at me and I scoffed. She was always telling me that the boy wonder had feelings for me, but that couldn't be true, because he likes Zatanna.

She walked away, and I turned towards Robin.

"Hey Johnny-boy, how are you?" I smiled at him. He grimaced at the nickname. I used his middle name as a nickname, because it amused me when he would scrunch his face in distaste. I would call him by his first name, but I knew that he was very strict about his name never being said unless he was in civvies. I tried using his last name, but he said that it was even worse.

"I still hate it when you call me that. Anyways, I just have a question for you."

"Shoot."

He looked left and right, then pushed me into my room. I stumbled in, and he shut the door.

Twice in one day, I've been pushed into my room.

"Was that necessary?" I put my hands on my hips. He suddenly got all serious and took a step forward, I stepped back.

"Uh, Rob?"

"I need you to tell me everything you know about Joker."

I was not expecting this. I was expecting him to ask something about his love life or if he was going to save the world one day. Not this.

"I don't think that's really a good idea."

I had learned to keep my mouth shut about things like this. A month or so ago, I was telling the team about everything that would happened during their next mission, and when they came back, Wally was crazy wounded. I didn't want anyone else to get hurt (unless they are supposed to), so I kept my mouth shut. But I still answered their little questions.

"(y/n)," he warned.

"No, no way! It's too dangerous."

Robin sighed and took off his mask. He rubbed his eyes and I noticed the bags under his magnificent blue eyes.

He looked up and our eyes connected.

"I know you think this could be dangerous, but this information could be crucial to saving millions of lives."

"I can't, if I do, the situation could turn out worse then before."

"But it could help everything, too!" He shouted. I stepped back, and sat on my bed. I looked down and my hair surrounded my head, shielding my face from his views. My eyes started to burn from keeping in the tears. I had left my old home just to get away from abusive parents. They would always yell at me.

"Get out." I said, my voice shaky.

"No."

This surprised me, and I looked up. He had a regretful look on his face. He sat next to me and hesitantly patted my back.

"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I know it must be scary when you think that if you tell me about Joker, that more people will get hurt, but millions are about to be killed. Joker teamed up with Poison Ivy and they planted thousands of bombs globally. They are set to go off in 3 days. If we don't do something now, so many innocents will die," he finished with a croaky whisper.

I smiled and looked at him.

"What are you smiling about?" He face was still grim.

"I've always admired how you care so much for everyone and how brave you are, even though you're only human. You set an example for all the little guys out there. You don't need superpowers to be a hero. All you need is a little courage and will power to save the day. That's why you're my favorite superhero, besides Damian, of course."

I smirked at the thought of the little firecracker Damian Wayne.

"Damian?"

"Umm, just some guy."

His eyes darkened.

"Are you dating him?"

I laughed at his serious expression and patted his cheek.

"Chillax Johnny-boy, he's way way too young for me."

He's probably like negative 5 years old right now.

He breathed out. We were quiet for a few moments.

"So do you think you can-"

I cut him off.

"I will say one thing, but I don't want it to be brought up again, ever," I said seriously. He nodded, anxious to here what I was about to say.

I didn't know what I should tell him. Should I tell him about how he kills Jason or how he tortured Tim, or how there is actually 3 jokers, or maybe that his real name is supposedly Jack Napier. Or maybe I'll tell him that in a different dimension, the joker was Bruce's mother. Or maybe that he actually loved Harley Quinn at one point. So many things to say.

"The joker hates you the most, because he's never been able hurt you in any way, emotionally mostly, but physical too."

He narrowed his eyes.

"That helps me in no way whatsoever!" He complained. At least he didn't yell at me again. But I was more glad that he didn't ask who else I was talking about.

"Hey, it should make you feel good about yourself." He sighed, and suddenly I was hyper aware of his hand rubbing my back. We fell into a silence, and I couldn't tell if it was awkward or not, because I was busy trying to catch my breath.

Dick Grayson is touching my back. Dick Grayson hasn't moved his hand from my back. Dick Grayson is rubbing circles into my back. The comic book freaking character Dick Grayson. Dick Grayson. Dick Grayson. Dick Grayson.

"Dick Grayson..."

"What?" He questioned. I blushed. He was staring intently at me, but I looked straight ahead, trying not to scream in excitement and frustration.

He leaned into me, and he pressed his face against my shoulder. I was tense and blushing. He was so good looking, so soft and warm, so kind and funny. So perfect. His grip slipped to around my shoulder and he turned me so I was facing him completely. He leaned in a little.

"Can I tell you something?"

"Sure," I squeaked out. He leaned even closer, our noses nearly touching. My eyes almost crossed from how close he was.

"I really want to kiss you right now," he breathed out. This felt so wrong, and yet so right. We're so young, he's a superhero, I'm from a different dimension. There was so many ways this could go wrong. But I forgot about that for a moment, and leaned in.

"I do too."

Our lips connected and we separated in a few seconds. My first kiss. I reached up and touched my lips. We hadn't really done anything besides touch lips, there was no moving and it was weird.

A laugh bubbled up from my throat, and Robin laughed along side with me. I became hysterical, and my eyes started to water.

"Wanna try that again?" He offered after I wiped my eyes of the tears from laughing so hard.

"Uh huh."

We leaned in.

"Hey Johnny-boy?"

"Hmm?"

"Does my breath stink?"

He started laughing again. He patted his knee and leaned against the wall behind him. I guess we weren't gonna kiss again. It would probably be awkward, anyway.

"Wanna go on a date with me?" He questioned with hopeful eyes?

My face brightened and I smiled.

"Sure... but nothing too cheesy, okay?"

We smiled at each other.

"Wouldn't dream of it."

...

"And don't call me Johnny-boy!"
