Over the 19 years that Emma had with Rory and Damien, she saw the kids grow up into perfect adults. Amenadiel told Damien that his father would want him to have the nightclub and Damien agreed to run it with Rory and Charlie's help. Amenadiel agreed and Damien signed the papers to get his Father's Nightclub. Damien walked upstairs to the penthouse. He looked around and saw everything his father owned.

Damien loved to see what his father's lifestyle was before he disappeared at 10th and Swanson. Damien doesn't believe his father just up and vanished but Lucifer isn't here. He wished his father was here to teach him things only a boy can learn from his father. He looked around and found pictures of Emma and Lucifer. He picked up the photo and smiled at a picture of his parents. He looks around more and finds a family photo of Him, His sister, and his Parents in one photo. Him and his sister, Babies.

Emma was working at the L.A.P.D still. Damien showed up there at his mom's office and Emma smiled and says "Hey, Honey. How is everything going over at the Club?" 

Damien looks at her angrily "Mom, Why did I find a picture of us as a family if Dad, wasn't around for our childhood." Emma looks confused and Damien shows her the photo. Emma says "This is the photo, That we took before your father left."

Damien says "Mom, We look like one happy family but we weren't. Our Father wasn't around to teach us anything. We had to learn everything from you. You shouldn't have had to deal with us on you're own." Emma smiles and says "You remind me of your father so much. You act just like him, Damien. And He loves you and your sister. He truly did. But he couldn't be around." Damien looks at her and says "Why, couldn't he be around? Mom, Please tell me why." Emma looks at him and says "I can't, Honey. I love you."

Damien says "I love you too, Mom." he walks over and kisses her forehead, and says "I got to go. Please be safe." Damien grabs the photo and goes back to Lux. He walks downstairs to the club and he starts taking people's orders and giving them drinks. Charlie comes down to the club and sees Damien. Charlie says "Hey, Man. What's up with you?" Damien grabs the family photo and shows it to Charlie. He says "A family photo, With you're Mom and Dad. With you and your sister."

Damien is washing cups and says "Yeah. Apparently Our father couldn't be around, and Mom won't tell Rory or me Why." Charlie says "Don't be like that, Bro. I mean, Maybe you're dad had a reason for leaving you and you're sister." Damien squeezes the cup he was washing and his Super-strength broke the cup. and pieces of the cup go flying. Damien looks down and sees he also broke the family photo frame.

He bends down, picks it up, and says "I got to go, Charlie. Later." He goes upstairs to the penthouse. He comes out of the elevator and sees a man that looks like his dad. Damien looks at him and sees a scar on his face. He says "Dad? Is that you?" The man looks at him and says "Sorry, Nephew. I'm your father's twin. Michael." Damien remembers what his mom said about Michael and he slams Michael against the wall and says "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?"

Damien's eyes turn red then back to normal color. Michael says "Nephew, Don't be like your dad. He'd want you to be better than, him." Damien says angrily "WHAT WOULD I KNOW! MY FATHER ABANDONED ME AND MY SISTER!" Michael says "Lightbringer Jr. Calm down." Damien lets go of his uncle. Damien says "What do you want?" Michael says "Well, I came here to meet my nephew. You do act just like you're father." Damien remembers why he came here and goes back for the photo that he dropped.

He walks over and grabs a new photo frame and puts the photo in that one. Damien stares at the family photo for longer than he wanted to. Michael says "I hope you know that your father didn't abandon you or your sister." Damien says "How'd you get here? Mom said Dad cut off your wings." Michael says "Well they were. I got them back." Damien says "I know you're not my dad, But it's hard to look at you."

Michael says "Well, tell me what you want to tell your father. Maybe that will help." Damien looks and keeps his mind blank that this is his uncle. He looks at him and says "Dad." Michael says "Yes, Son." He looks down and backs up at his face and says "Why, did you abandon me and my sister when we needed you the most?" Michael playing along says "I didn't abandon you. There was something I needed to do, and a promise to keep. You will understand. one day, Son. I love you, Damien."

Damien started to cry and hugged Michael pretending to be his dad. Michael hugs him back. Emma goes out of the elevator and says "Damien, what's going on." Michael turns around and says "Hello, Winchester. I came here to meet my nephew and well. I didn't realize that my brother abandoned his own children." Emma says "He didn't abandon them." Damien says "Uncle M. Could you please go." Michael says "Yeah, I can." his wings popped out and he flies off.

Emma walks over to Damien and says "Are you ok?" Damien says "No. He looked just like dad. I think speaking to him just made everything so much worse." he hugs his mother and says "I want dad around, Mom." Emma rubs the back of his head and says "I know, sweetie. I miss your dad, too." Charlie comes out of the elevator and says "Damien. I need to talk to you." he sees Damien crying Charlie says "Damien. Is this about what I said?" Damien walks off and looks at the photo again.

Emma walks over to Charlie and says "What did you say, Charlie?" Charlie says "Well, I was trying to make him feel better about Uncle Luci not being around and well his super-strength broke a cup downstairs and he broke the glass on the family photo frame and walked up here, and never came back down. Aunt Emma, He just wants Uncle Luci. He wants his father around. And I don't know how to help him from here." Emma says "I know, I don't know what to do either."

Emma does a prayer and Amenadiel appears at her house in front of her. Amenadiel says "Let me guess, Damien found the family photo up in the penthouse and he wants to see his dad." Emma nods her head and says "Yeah. Could you ask Lucifer to come up and talk to Damien? He needs a father figure and he needs his real father, He's hurting that his dad isn't around." Amenadiel says "I go talk to Luci."

Amenadiel goes to hell to find his brother. Lucifer is in a hell loop and he's trying to help the guy get over his guilt. Lucifer says "Come on, You face your guilt. You will no longer feel guilty." He turns to Amenadiel and says "Ah, Brother. Hello, Excuse me." he walks over to Amenadiel and says "Hey, brother. What's wrong?" Amenadiel says "It's Damien. He's in pain. thinking you abandoned him."

Lucifer says "I can't do anything about it. I'm keeping a promise, and I wanted to be there for them both but Emma knew if I chose to stay and be with my family, I wouldn't come back down to hell." Amenadiel says "A son is different then a daughter. He needs his father to teach him things only he can learn from his dad. Emma wants you to come up to earth and talk to Damien." Lucifer says "What about the promise I have to keep?" Amenadiel says "Spending a day with your son, Isn't breaking your promise. Go."

Lucifer shakes his and pops to Earth. He goes to the penthouse and looks around and sees Damien. Sitting on the couch looking at a photo he took and putting it up in his bedroom. Lucifer smiles at his son. Damien looks over and thinks it's Michael and says "Not now, Uncle M. Can you leave me alone?" Lucifer says "I could, But I have a feeling you wanted to see me." Damien looks over at him and sees no scar and says "Dad?" Lucifer smiles and says "Hello, Damien. My son the Lightbringer."

Damien rushes over to Lucifer and hugs him. Lucifer hugs him back and says "I didn't abandon you, son. I had the promise to keep, and I keep my promises." Damien cries in his dad's arms. Lucifer sees that he's crying and lifts his head up and wipes the tears off his face and says "I didn't leave because of you Damien. Or your sister. I hope you know I never meant to hurt you or Rory. And I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most. I'm so sorry I left you and your sister." and brings him in for a big hug.

Damien smiles in his father's chest hugging his father not wanting to let go. Lucifer hugged his son. Not wanting to leave him again. He pulls him closer and hugs him tighter and says "I love you, My favorite son. And I always will." Damien is happy to hear it and says "I love you too, Dad. Please don't leave." Lucifer lifts his head up and says "I know, you don't want me to leave and I don't want to leave either, but I have the promise to keep. And I gave this person my word."

Damien looks at his father and says "So you have to leave your family because someone made you promise, to do something. I need you, Dad. I always will." Emma comes out of the Elevator and says "I know you want him to stay, Damien. But he can't." Damien turns around to see his mother and says "Why? I mean why can't he be in our lives and do what he's doing? I need my dad." Lucifer turns his head towards him and says "Can you keep a secret?" Damien nods

Lucifer looks at Emma and she nods his head in agreement and says "The reason, I'm not around is because your sister came back in time and told me to do something and I can't break that promise, Son." Damien says "Wait, She's the reason we don't have a father?" Emma says "Yes, In a way yes." Damien says "She think you abandoned us with Mom and left and never returned. Every single time mom ever talks about how much she loves you she rolls her eyes wondering why she loves the man who abandons his two kids with their mother."

Damien says "I never thought you abandoned us. For some reason, I always thought you had something to do and you would eventually come back." Lucifer pulls him in for a hug and says "Don't tell Rory. Ok?" Damien says "Why?" Lucifer says "Well, This Rory hasn't Timed traveled back. Just keep it to yourself, Ok?? And I promise you, that I miss you and your sister and mother, every day since I've been gone." Lucifer kisses his son's forehead.

Lucifer pops his wings out and says "Bye, Son. I love you." Damien with a tear running down his face and says "I love you, Dad." He flies off and Damien hugs his mother and says "I'm sorry, Mom. For always cause you so much pain." Emma kisses his forehead and says "It's alright. You wanted your father around." Damien says "Thank you, For letting me see, Dad, and Mom." Emma says "No, problem, honey."
