When Did They Catch Feels?
Okay okay. You're friends now. But how the hell did you manage to get them to fall for you?
Mary Marvel:
She found you extremely charming.
In the days that turned to weeks to even months, she always found herself looking forward to running into you every day. She quickly learned that you loved film and you had a strong dream to become a great filmmaker.
She did often worry about you going and filming super hero fights, but she made sure to support you the best she could.
And, of course, she looked out for you in her hero form. Something you still didn't know about.
But it was one particular day when she suddenly realized she had fallen for you.
She was walking to school with her foster siblings when they came across you giving money to a homeless person. You greeted them and walked with them.
Along the way, you talked to her siblings and you were nothing but kind to them. You and Freddy bonded over movies, you and Billy got along because of your shared love for superheroes, and Darla just liked the fact that you appreciated her new unicorn backpack.
Seeing you interact with the people that meant the world to her made her realize how much you meant to her.
But she never realized that you had fallen head over heels for her first.
She was amazing in every way. She was intelligent, beautiful, kind, and ambitious. She always went our her way to protect the little man and she would listen to your rants about whatever movie you had seen.
She even suggested tagging along a few times.
You had no idea how you got so lucky to have such an amazing friend.
Which was why it was so hard to tell her how you felt.
Star Girl:
You hit Solomon Grundy with a baseball bat.
She joined the Justice Society in their fight against the a group of villains that were attacking your hometown of Blue Ridge. Most of the civilians were able to get to safety, but there were still a few stragglers. You stayed back to help as many people as possible get to safety.
Courtney had spotted you helping two small children get to a safe spot. She began to worry which distracted her enough for Solomon to get the jump on her.
She hit the ground and the large monster was ready to finish things.
Y/N: Hey, ugly!
Solomon had looked up only to be met with a wooden bat to the face. The bat did break, but it hurt him long enough for you to pull Courtney free and get her to a place she could catch a breath.
You kept an eye out as she recovered, before she grabbed you by the collar of your shirt and forced you to look at her.
Courtney: What do you think you're doing?!
Y/N: Saving your life, obviously. Now go and beat this guy before he kills me.
She just looked at you completely baffled. You were so calm. You really did just act because she was in danger. You didn't even know it was Courtney and yet, you still risked your life.
She found her cheeks heating up as she groaned.
Courtney: Oh God. I like him.
She forced you to get to safety before she jumped back into the fight.
Thanks to you, she managed to get the upper hand on Grundy and the JSA was able to save the day.
Zatanna:
Things got kind of weird.
She had invited you over to her place for some tea which you gladly accepted. However, as the two of you talked, a strange golden light had appeared and out came Doctor Fate himself.
You were starstruck.
He told Zatanna that he needed her help and that you would need to come as well. Zatanna refused to allow you to be pulled into such danger, but you agreed when you learned that said threat was world threatening.
And that started your lessons in real magic.
Zatanna saw how hard you worked. How dedicated you were. You were respectful to the craft and you took her words to heart. You never eased up on your hardwork and she admired it.
Before long, you were working alongside her with your own spells and practices. She found herself watching you when you would preform your magic more and more. You had a love for it, and she now had a love for you.
Something about you felt nostalgic. She saw the same love for magic in you that she often saw in her father.
That's how she knew you were a good man. And that was how she knew that she could allow herself to fall in love with you.
Supergirl:
Once you got that chip off your shoulder, you were actually pleasant to be around.
It took a while, but you did eventually warm up to her. In your own way. You allowed her to join you on your patrols and investigations without much complaining.
And you did start to take her advice about lighting up your personality. She was proud to say that you had officially graduated from cringy edgelord to somewhat okay edeglord.
You still never showed her your face. It wasn't until you allowed her to follow you back to your apartment that you took off your mask.
She made an observation.
You were quite the handsome guy.
In a rough kind of way.
She also saw you smile for the first time. Without the mask, you were almost like a completely different person. More lively. More active.
You offered her something to drink and you both sat on the couch and unwinded after a long night of patrolling.
She watched you closely as you told a story about some gangsters you had fought back when you were just starting out.
As you spoke, she listened to the enthusiasm in your voice.
She smiled when you would laugh.
That's when she realized she had fallen hard for you.
Spoiler:
You began to fight crime yourself.
It was actually Stephenie's idea. On one of her breaks when you joined her, she suggest you use your powers for good. To try and repent for the crimes you had committed. You liked the idea.
She had the night off and met you on the rooftop near the entrance of your home. You had to make a half hearted excuse to Ivy about where you were going so late.
Stephenie brought you some gear from the Batcave and you both went out on patrol. After fighting some bad guys and foiling an evil scheme to poison Gotham's water supply, an apparently common scheme, you and Spoiler were able to take a breather on top of a water tower.
The two of you talked and you told her about your father. You had sworn to give your sister a better life and Stephanie found it admirable.
However, when you smiled, she would always find her fluttering. There was just one problem though.
She was still dating Tim Drake.
Things had been rough lately since he was so focused on following in Bruce's steps that their relationship felt more like a chore than anything. But with you, she actually found herself to be happy.
When the night came to an end, she realized that she was in love with you. You said goodbye and dipped back into Ivy's garden of eden once again. Now alone, Stephanie wondered what would come next.
Wonder Girl:
She had paid Coast City a visit.
She went there to see you for some help in a mission she wanted to run without the others. Not that she didn't trust them, but she needed someone she could count on to take it seriously.
However, when she arrived, she found you helping people as Teen Lantern. Not saving them from bad guys either.
She watched as you helped build the affordable housing. She witnessed you assisting a young couple move into their new apartment by getting their furniture up the stairs. You visited the children at the orphanage.
She saw just how much kindness you held. By the time you realized she was following you around watching you, you had done more than she had in the last month.
Y/N: Hey, Princess.
She hated that nickname. Tim came up with it. But when you said it with that stupid smirk, she couldn't help but smile. She told you the situation and you immediately agreed to help.
You didn't even hesitate.
When it was done, you both sat ontop of a large rock in the middle of the desert watching the authorities take the drug dealers away.
Cassie: Why did you help me?
Y/N: Well, it's what friends do, right? Besides, I can never say no to you.
She could've sworn she felt her heart skip a beat. It was then when she began to actually question what her feelings towards you were.
Turns out, she had fallen for you.
She had fallen hard.
Orphan:
You began to work together more often.
You quickly learned that there was a strange group set up in the Batfamily. Bruce, Dick, and Barbara. Tim, Steph, and Cassandra. Duke, Damien, and Jason.
You somehow ended up with Cassandra's group. And so, you often found yourself working with her.
And because of that, you learned more about her through her movments. Her actions. But even out of costume you were always around her. Maybe because you knew what it was really like to be trained by the Shadows.
So, really, there was a fourth group.
You, Cassandra, and Damien.
The strangest trio ever.
But Cassandra saw how hard you worked to escape your past as a killer. To repay for your sins and to be greater. She admired the way you were able to grow and interact with the others.
But there was one particular night that made her realize she loved you.
It was storming and you joined her and Batman to fight against Scarecrow. Her and Bruce were both affected by his fear toxin, but you were able to break through and beat him.
She came to and found you asleep in a chair next to the bed. Alfred explained that you refused to leave her side. He even snitched you out and told her what you said.
Y/N: She's someone special to me.
Cassandra can say that she had never blushed before. When you woke up, she simply smiled.
Cassandra: Good......morning.
That was the first time you heard her speak.
