The wind was howling outside your window, as rain poured down from the darkened sky. You loved to stare out the window and watch the lightning flash across the sky.

You continued to watch the rain fall, when you heard a light tap on the window.

You thought it was just the rain, but the tapping began to become rapid. You sighed, grabbing the baseball bat you had next to you. You were always prepared for this sort of thing, so you had various weapons around the house.

You slung it over your shoulder, hitting yourself in the head a little bit in the process.

Once, you finished swearing at yourself, you went to the window. The power was out, so you shone a flashlight outside.

There, soaking wet and smiling like a dork, was your boyfriend, Oliver Queen. You opened the window, cold air and rain hitting your face.

"What are you doing?" You called to him.

"Making sure you were ok." He called back. You huffed. He was adorable, but sometimes he did stupid things like stand in the rain with only a hoodie on.

"Well, come here." You said. He shook his head.

"No, you come out here!" He said. You raised an eyebrow. Was he serious?

"Why the heck would I do that?" You called, "Are you insane?"

Oliver laughed.

"Come on! It'll be like that scene in the Notebook!" He said. You rolled your eyes and smiled.

"If I come outside, will you come in after?" You asked. He nodded. So, you grabbed a hoodie, slipped it on and went outside into the pouring rain.

You walked up to him.

"This is stupid." You said, wrapping your arms tightly around yourself.

"I know." Oliver said. He leaned down and kissed you. You kissed him back.

He pulled away, smiling.

"Ok, let's go inside. Your right this is stupid." He said quickly. You laughed.

"I told you." You said.
