After umming and ahing over a particular subject he had finally made up his mind.

He'd decided to ask you out, he'd already seen you a couple times now, and you seemed really happy to seem him.

And the fact that he couldn't get you off of his mind just convinced him more.

He grabbed his gadget and clicked on your name and started typing.

'Hey, meet me at Crime alley in 10 minutes.'

He waited a bit before getting a reply but nevertheless you replied.

'Crime Alley. I'll be there! C u soon!'

He put his gadget away and left the batcave and made his way to Crime Alley.

You reached Crime Alley and waited and waited for the Dark Knight to arrive. You paced around, jumping in the puddles that had formed in the ditches of the dimly lit road.

As you turned around to do another lap of pacing you saw none other than the Bat of Gotham.

"Hey!" You greeted.

You swore you saw him flash a quick smile before grabbing your waist and grappling to the top of the roof.

Once you landed he packed his gadget away and walked up to you.

"So! What'd you want to see me about??" You asked him curiously.

"I actually wanted to. . . ask you something." He replied. "Ask away." You said.

All of a sudden he seemed to get a little shy and nervous. You'd never seen him like this. It was a little off putting.

"Are you alright?" You asked. "Fine. I just. . . I was wondering. . . ugh, do you want to go out with me?" He finally asked.

Your eyes lit up as soon as the words left his mouth and you couldn't help but jump up and down continuously.

He seemed a little confused by your actions, as you hadn't said anything, only jumped up and down. Though the Dark Knight was known to be a great detective, this was something he'd never ever worked on. This particular field, or subject, was foreign to him. You noticed his confused expression and just laughed.

"That means YES!" You cheered, clearing things up. You saw him smile, like, actually smile. But only for a second. Man, he was good at hiding it, you had to admit.

"So. . . Dinner?" He suggested. "Sure! Where at? I don't think Maccas would sit idly by whilst Batman and this girl order a cheeseburger." You laughed at your own joke. Once again that smile that didn't seem to last even a second reappeared and disappeared.

"Just meet me here tomorrow night, I'll take care of the rest." He explained. "Can do!" You replied, holding a thumbs out.

He quickly and swiftly helped you down the building and back onto the steady ground. After your goodbyes he departed off into the night.
