As the sun was setting

The evening sky lit up.

The typical deep ocean blue

Was now covered in roaring embers.

I could hear all your voices

From a time long ago.

I'm now sat wondering

Where'd all my time go?

Why do I still feel the same

As I did way back when.

Been locked up around you all

Have no idea what I've been through.

I've tried to change it all

Can only make it so far.

My life's been wasted

Regret telling you all

That I would make it.

All the good memories we shared

Feel so foreign now.

But my time has burnt up

As my childhood has ended.

At dawn I said
