No one pov
It's been a long day and Tommy has finally finished the building. And he also made sure to check everything in the building works and the playroom for the kids is ready and safe. So right now he has to go to the market to buy some ingredients and toys for the daycare area. After that he has his stuff in bags and was walking back home.

Until he notices something in the alleyway and he shrugged why not and walked in. Then he saw an adult male with a knife threatening 2 kids and that was pissing him off.

Tommy:oi! You get away from those kids! 💢
Mugger:huh? , you best mind your business unless you want to join them 💢 *threating him with the knife*
Tommy:tch , oh yeah I bet you're a real tough guy to threaten me and these kids *taking every step to move closer to the mugger and kids*
Mugger:hey! I said stay ba-
Tommy: *didn't give the mugger enough time to finish his sentence as he sprinted towards him and swift his legs with a kick. And grab his wrists and knee him in the face hard enough to drop the knife and maneuver him to the ground and pinned him down* man shut up
Mugger:ugh! Get off me!💢
Tommy:nah I don't think I will *keeps him grounded and eyed the kids* hey kids could one of you get my phone out of my pocket so we could get the police here

The kids were a little scared but they walked closer to Tommy and the boy reached in his pocket and got the phone out and called the police and where they were and to come get the mugger.

After the mugger was arrested , he took a look at the children and asked if they were okay and they nodded while they were still holding hands. He noticed that the children were hybrids of a spider and moth and from the look of their clothes were ragged and covered in dirt that they were living in the streets. The police were looking at the children saying they would have to go to the foster care to deal the hybrid kids until someone could take care of them.

Tommy knew that he didn't want them to go to foster care because they were not kind to him so he told the officers that he will adopt them. They were shocked that a kid would adopt them but they didn't want more paperwork so they told him that he would have to sign some papers and he agreed.

The children were shocked that they were saved by this teenager and now they're getting adopted and felt joy to not feel the cold every night and having to go in trash cans to get food. After a while they were at the police station to get the paperwork signed so that it's official. And then the officer said he would like to know their names so that he could put it in the system.

Tommy said his name and looked at the kids  and crouched down in their level and asked what their names are and they said that it was shroud and clementine and he felt joy that he got to see shroud again and now he has a moth kid that is so cute.

He said that they have awesome names and they smiled at him. He looks the officer and he told him their names and add his last name to the paper and the officer did just that and asked for him to sign the papers and he did that and now it's official he just adopted children. 

He brought the kids home and put away the groceries and decided to give them a bath and new clothes. After that he brought them to a clothing store and brought some shirts , shoes and shorts , pants and sweaters for the kids. Later he made a room for them in the building and they were happy with the gifts and new clothes and home. They ran to Tommy and hugged him saying "thank you mommy" and he smiled happily for them even though they messed up his name but not important right now because he is happy to have them in his life.

And then he is already working on making some pastries and set them on the clear shelf for people to see what he has. So far he has been working on his cooking and making coffee for people that have been working or need to relax.

He also made sure to check everything in the building works and the playroom for the kids is safe and secure and ready. So right now he has everything ready to open the cafe/daycare and he turned the sign over to "open" on the door and now he waited for the door to open so he could give out his food or take care of the kids while parents are here ordering or working.

A few hours has passed and he has been checking in the storage room and he heard a bell ringing to the front door and shouted "coming" to the person who came in and walked out of the room and over to the register counter and see a woman who is looking at the menu and then she noticed me and gave me a soft smile. She had dark brown eyes and chestnut hair and wearing a dark violet long sleeve shirt and black long skirt with black shoes and her skin was a bit pale but she looked really pretty. And she kinda reminds me of Mumza in a way.

Tommy:hello there ma'am how are you doing today my name is Tommy innit and welcome to the "Innit daycare/cafe"
Pretty woman:hello Tommy I am doing well and I noticed this new cafe and wanted to check it out and I think it is lovely
Tommy:thank you ma'am and what would you like to order
Pretty women:hmm *looks at the menu and smiles* I'll get a coffee with 2 sugar and a bite of a whither rose cupcake and that would be it to go please
Tommy:alrighty and can I get a name for the order
Kristin:the name is Kristin
Tommy:alright then have a seat and I'll get your order ready

Kristin nodded and went over to a seat and waited for her order while Tommy was making her order she noticed the daycare area and how cute it looked and saw 2 children were playing with toys and she smiled at how adorable they are. The children noticed the women staring at them and felt comfortable with her aura and walked closer to her and stopped by the gate to the daycare area. She smiled at them as they greeted her with a wave.

Kristin:hello there
Shroud:hi
Clementine:h-hello
Kristin: I am Kristin and you are?
Shroud:I'm shroud and this is my sister clementine
Kristin:well it's nice to meet you but I couldn't help but notice that you and that boy are the only people here ,where are your parents
Clementine:umm
Shroud:we live here in this building and help mommy,he is the best ever *rase up his fists in happiness*
Kristin:"he?" *she tilted her head in confusion*
Clementine: *nods*
Shroud:yah , *points at Tommy* he saved us and adopted us
Kristin:oh *surprised* that's nice of him
Tommy:order of coffee with 2 sugars and a whither rose cupcake for Kristin
Kristin:oh,well it was nice meeting you too
The children: *nodded*

Kristin gets up from her seat and walks over to the counter where her order is bagged up and ready to go. Tommy thanked her for waiting and gave her the order and told her that it'll be $2.45 and she payed with $4.00 for the order along leaving a tip and walked away with the order. He felt happy to have his first customer and put the money in the register and then a few hours people started to come in and order while parents were interested in the daycare area to bring their children here yes he had to deal with some Karens. As this goes on for a couple of days and sees in the news that crime here is very high and the other districts have heroes and their residents are very rich people and stuff.

But everything else was going well and he thought about hiring someone to take orders while he makes them. So it can be quicker and easier for him but he was a big man and he could do it. But right now it was late and it was time to close the cafe and lock the door and get the kids ready for bed.

Tommy's pov
I just turned off the oven and cleaned the kitchen and floor and turned the sign over to "close" and turned the lights off and walked over to my kids and picked them up and took them to their room and tucked them in bed. I turned the nightlight on for them to see stars and walked out of the room and closed the door softly and then I went to my room and changed out my uniform and put on a black hoodie and sweats and went downstairs to check everything in the storage and everything looks good.

I noticed that I was running a little low on some supplies but luckily I got a little secret and I moved behind the boxes of my storage room and moved one over to the side. And I opened a trapped door and go down to the basement and see my little stacks of jewels that I mined in abandoned caves and go to my garden of flowers. I used to pick them up and put them in techno's hair when I was little but now I wished that I could just say sorry for betraying him and give him those flowers.

Anyway I began to work on my garden and now I got enough to make some flower arrangements at the cafe to brighten up the place and I picked gardenias, flux, forget me nots and my favorite yellow roses and put them together to make nice bouquet and set them on the tables , I was just finishing up and getting out of my trapped door and locking the doors and decided to go to bed.

But I wanted to try out my wings and exited out by the window of my room and went to the roof and unfold my wings and clean some of my feathers off and put them in my pocket and did a little flap and another one and then I started to fly in the night sky and it felt so good , the wind in my hair and feeling the breeze. It was amazing I was just about to fly back home until I heard a yell out for help and saw a man trying to hurt someone and I didn't think as I pulled up my hood and swooped down and dive into the man  knocking him out.

I kept my wings up and covered my face with my bandanna and looked at the person and I also noticed he was a bit hurt so I used my healing and asked if they were okay and they said yes and thanked me for saving him and I welcomed him. They asked me who I am sense there was no heroes in this part of the district and I thought for a moment and decided to be called Caladrius like the bird of healing from Greek mythology and with that I flew away from them and back home and thought that I could help people in the sideline/shadows and away from the big crowds and try not be detected by the hero's and villains. I landed by my window and get inside and closed it and thought that if I'm going to do this then I need a better disguise to cover my identity and make sure no one hurts my kids as I close my eyes to see another day.
