First and foremost, this is just an informational chapter. Includes reason behind story, summary and other information. You can skip this chapter if you want.

Inspiration:

The idea came from reading quotes and information about the Pearl Harbor attack for my History class. I did my project on this and I wanted to dedicate this to the men who had lost their lives and the many who had lost loved ones on that "Day of Infamy". Ironically, I live in Hawaii, and my dad works at Pearl Harbor, and I got this story idea that I could not let go. My plot is not based on anyone special and may or may not live up to the exact information on that historical day. I also got some plot Ideas from the movie Pearl Harbor (2001) and various movies and T.V. shows. 

Summary/Plot:

Set between 1941-1942.  The two main characters, Colin Stratford, and Elliot McGhee two U.S. sailors living in Hawaii experience an average life leading up to December 7th. 

A/N:

This will be on-and-off historically correct since I wasn't their during the bombing and most of my information will be coming in from secondary sources. Plus, military terms do not come naturally to me, and I may not be using the correct terms to describe the main characters.

This story can be considered R with the mature themes that will be portrayed, such as: swearing (which will include f-bombs), smoking, sexual themes, a prostitute, minor drug use, alcohol consumption, gore-scenes, etc., however I will not go into full detail.

Another thing I should add is that Elliot McGhee is Bisexual. He tends to prefer guys, but has been with females as well, considering it isn't quite socially-acceptable.  

Disclaimer: This is not based on any real person, place (other than Pearl Harbor and Oahu), this is all fictional. None of these people were actually there (I don't think anyone had that name) and do not have any connection towards them. If it does, it is purely coincidental.
