Savannah's P.O.V.

"Ms. Miller, the other representative is here from Levi Industries, should I send him into Mr. Emerson's Office?" My secretary said through the intercom

Buzzing through I say "Yeah let him right through, Mr. Emerson's meeting has just finished. Also could you please send in a cup of coffee and the extra merger files?"

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Thank you,"

I collapse in my chair and sigh in frustration. What was it Ellie wanted me to know? I'm getting ahead of myself, but I couldn't talk to her right now because of the abrupt merging of Levi Industries and Levi, Cage Levi. To avoid him, I traveled all the way from California to New York. Thus, I will not allow Cage Levi to return to my life.

"Ma'am May I come in?"

"Yes, you may."

Gathering myself up I wait for the associate to come in "Thank you, Alissa."

"Ma'am Emerson wants to see you, something about the mergers."

"Has the representative not gone to his office?"

"He is on his way up from the main sign-in area Ma'am."

"Alright, you may go."

Taking the coffee with me, I walk into Emerson's Office "Sir, you asked for me?"

" Yes I did, I wanted to speak to you about the King merger before I go into another meeting. From the beginning you have been against it and right about the assets but why?"

I sit down in front of him and say " I am a part of the King generation Sir before you say anything I never worked in that company and I have nothing to do with it. My mom is Alisha King daughter of Zayn King."

" Why didn't you tell me this before?"

"Because I knew you wouldn't hire me. I swear sir I have never worked there, I have never leaked anything to them. I came here to work and provide for my child and me. I was against this merger because I thought my father was going to see me and we didn't leave off on the best of terms." I said all at once getting flustered thinking of the possible outcomes, I couldn't lose this job. I would go back to square one.

"Savannah... Don't worry. I am not going to fire you, I just needed to ensure that you are loyal to this company and always will be."

"Yes, Sir."

"Sir, Mr. Levi is here."

"Right send him into the board room, I will be there soon."

"Thank you, Sir."

"Right, you may leave." Sighing I grabbed my coffee and left his office.

That was close, things like these can't happen, I can't lose this job if I do how will I provide for Rayna then? Give her a good environment to stay in. Sitting at my desk again, I bring some paperwork to file in the merger just in case the Levi Industry doesn't work out well. There's nothing I can do to stop this merger other than accept it.I need to know what Ellie was about to tell me but then again I can't call her right now. After work, I barely go on my phone giving all my attention to Ray.

Tomorrow I'll ask her.

Cage's P.O.V

"Granny, I'm leaving for my meeting. I'll see you in an hour or so."

"Okay, Sweetie. Take the key, I'll be taking a nap with Ray when you come back."

I chuckled grabbing the spare key from the vase. Raya is a ray of sunshine. Her mother chose her name perfectly, if she was so cute, her mother must be beautiful. I began driving towards the DayLight Industry office and put my game face on, this merger was very important, anything to stop or at least interrupt the King merger for a while would help us to get to Zayn King.

Parking in the driveway I make my way up to the offices "Hello, I am a representative from Levi Industries, here for my 11:30 am meeting."

"Right Sir, let me just check if Mr. Emerson is out of the board meeting yet."

I stood there waiting while she paged up to the board room, "Sir, you can make your way up to the fifth floor. Mr. Emerson will be waiting for you there."

"Thank you," I say giving her a slight smile and making my way up.

Taking a deep breath in before the elevator doors opened, I got myself ready, "Hello Mr. Levi, we have been looking forward to meeting you," an associate said to me

"Thank you, same here."

"Please follow me into the board room Mr. Emerson will be with you shortly."

"Alright." I sigh looking around the board room, I wasn't that early, just ten minutes.

"Sorry, for the wait Mr. Levi, I had to deal with some things, please have a seat," Emerson said

"No problem, I understand."

"So the merger offer?"

"Right, I believe if our companies go through with this merger there will be a huge benefit for both. Our companies have huge assets and will reign over the other companies. Daylight and Levi industries will be the biggest in the world."

Emerson looked slightly impressed, "That sounds good Mr. Levi-"

"Cage, please call me Cage."

"Right, Blake for you too. Everything sounds good, but I have another merger in the process, and dropping them would cause a huge loss in our company. If you would like to do a three-way merger it would be good. Each company would have a hand and say in the decisions."

"Three-Way Merger? How would that be possible Blake?"

"I can get all of that arranged I have a very intelligent and hardworking partner she will have everything done in two to three days."

"Who's the other company?" King Industries, this is way better. If I'm in all of the discussions and meetings I will know what is going on and when.

"King Industries. It is a much smaller company due to the many losses it has gone through since the death of Alisha King and Zayn King. But now Chance Miller has decided to step in and is very desperate to make the company work."

He isn't the one desperate, Zayn King is the one.

"I have no opposition to this merger but I will have to talk this through with, my father, give you could give me a couple of minutes?"

"Oh, yes. I'll be waiting outside. "

"Hello, Cage."

"Hey, Dad."

"How did the meeting go?"

"I'm in the middle of it."

"What?" He said confused "Then why are you calling me?"

"They have offered to do a three-way merger between us, them, and King Industries. I think this is a perfect opportunity to get into all the meetings and plans."

"Three-way merger?"

"I know it sounds weird but Emerson said that he has someone who could draw up the papers in two to three days. So what do you think?"

"Go through with it, but be careful. Any sight or mention of Zayn King doesn't react."

"I'll be careful."

"Alright bye, buddy."

"Bye"

Sighing I walk to the door and call Emerson back in, "Everything is good to go, Blake, I'll be back to sign the papers."

"This is brilliant news, I also got off the phone with Chance and he said the merger is good to go too. I'll send both of you an email when the papers are ready."

"Pleasure doing business with you Blake."

"Same here Cage."

Everything was going my way, everything was going according to the plan, and nothing could go wrong.
