Cage's P.O.V

Everything is going according the plan, Theo is with Savy, and Chance is in Theo's truck responding to his radio now the only thing is to figure out where King could be hiding a four-year-old child receiving cancer treatment.

You must be confused about what is actually going on, how did this all flip on him let me explain

. . . Flashback ( Four Days Ago). . . 

"Thank you for coming out to meet me, Cage," Theo said sitting in front of me with a hoodie covering his head "I need to tell you something,"

"What?" I said sternly, "Why did you call me?"

"I need a favor."

"Not happening,"

"Look, I'm doing this in my own will, King has my daughter Thea."

I looked at him with a blank face, "Your daughter? Seriously Theo could have come up with a better trap."

"It isn't a trap Cage this is my reality. My daughter has been trapped in a hospital for the past two years because of him. He denies treatment to her whenever I don't listen. Look I promised her mom I would always keep her safe out of danger. I just need your help."

Examining him, "Let me see a picture. Or at least let me talk to her mother."

Theo's expression changed "I-I will show you a picture."

"Where's her mother Theo?"

Sighing he pulled out his phone and called someone, "Here talk"

"Hello, Theo?" Ellie's voice my heart stopped

"Hello?" I said

"Cage? What are you doing with Theo? Are you okay are you in danger?" Millions and millions of thoughts were rushing through my brain, this couldn't be true, she couldn't have hidden something so big from me.

"You have a daughter?" I heard her breath hitch
 

"How do you know?"

"You have a daughter with Theo?"

"How do you know?" She said firmly

"Theo is sitting right in front of me. Now answer the fucking question."

"Yes, yes okay? Yes, I have a daughter."

"When the fuck were you going to tell me!"

"Never, never because the UMDA would put my daughter in danger just like it is putting Ray in danger right now. You and Uncle Liam split me from Theo, ruined my life and I wasn't going to let you ruin my daughter's life. Now tell me what the hell is going on."

She was right, everything she said was right but that didn't mean that what she did was right. Keeping her away from us like that.

"Theo and I are just talking. Do your job." Cutting the phone on her I slid the phone black to him. Groaning I got up pacing around a little bit. A four-year-old kid trapped in King's hands. I needed to do something. Looking back at him, "Then you need to do me a favor too."

Theo's face lit up "Anything."

. . . Present. . . 

Radioing Theo with the separate radio only he and I had I checked in with them, "Theo did you get them?"

Not a second layer he paved in "Yeah I have everyone but I don't see Ellie anywhere where is she?"

"She is at the UMDA, Dove can get you in with her access card."

"Alright." He said quickly before grunting "Annah calm down the poking me with the gun okay? I'm just trying to"

"Are you talking to Cage?! Give me that!" Savy screamed before yelling at me "Cage Charming Fucking Zander when I see you you better run. What the hell do you think you're doing?"

Flinching I distance the radio away from my ear a bit, "I'll explain everything, babe. Just calm down. Right now isn't the right time. Just trust Theo, he's helping us."

"Still mad at you. " She said irritated before probably shoving the remote back into Theo's chest

"Hey man, don't worry about anything here everyone is safe just have to get Ellie."

"Right I'm almost at the location where they are keeping Thea, I'll get back to you soon don't worry."

Ellie's P.O.V

King was standing over my shoulder eyeing everything I was doing, "I need eyes on Theo now."

Rolling my eyes at him, I coordinated the camera to view Theo's truck, something wasn't right it wasn't going where King said he would if was going....

"What's wrong why are you making that face?"

"Nothing nothing wrong. Sometimes my eyes just get blurry, that's all."

Raising an eyebrow at me he nodded, "Eyes on Cage."Same with his truck they are going in the opposite direction the safe house, whatever King's plan was it was about to be ruined. What was weird as that Cage and Theo were...

"Do you want food?" King said out of nowhere 

Looking over at him I shook my head "No thank you." 

Smiling at the view of the two trucks I felt so relieved they were going to get my baby, Thea. They are actually working together.

"View on the safe house now." Giving him the side-eye I did as he said and saw it in complete silence. Shit. "Give me another angle." Quickly using a camera hack I gave the angle and image he wanted. Two trucks aligned in the back.

"Good everything seems on track. If you keep on cooperating with me like this then maybe I'll think about sparing your friend's life."

Shocked I looked back at him, "Are you planning on killing Savannah? Your own blood?"

"Please, I killed my own daughter, Savannah is nothing in my eyes especially her illegitimate kid Rayna."

My jaw dropped, he killed Annah's mother? Annah had been blaming her father all these years but the truth was that... I need to tell her, I need to get out of here somehow.

A crash coming from outside snapped me out of my frantic stage, "Boss! We have trouble out here."

Gunshots were firing, and groans and gasps continuously coming from outside the doorway before King grabbed me with a gun to my head.

"Ellie?! Ellie, where are you? Come on we have to leave!" That voice, that voice seemed familiar "Elena!!"

I opened my mouth to yell back but King squeezed my arm tightly behind my back, "Make a sound and it will only take one phone call to kill that precious child of yours."

Groaning out of pain, I tried to bite back any nasty remark I had for him, there was no way they weren't going to find us, we were in the main lab. One way out, One way in. 

"Ellie," a voice rang through the room barely above a whisper looking up from the floor stood a blood-covered Annah.

"Hello sunshine," King said from behind me digging the gun slightly in my temple, "Drop the gun, or your friend will die in front of your eyes."

Annah's eyes snapped up to meet King's slightly tilting her head, "You won't kill her, and you won't kill me either."

King chuckled humorlessness, "Try me,"

"You need her and you need me, without us, you won't get the Diamond. I'm the trade, she the money."

What was she doing here? Where was Ray, Dove, or even Granny!

King loosened his grip on me, "Smart, but there's just one little complication."

"And what's that?"

"I know Cage doesn't have it, Liam has it and I want it now."

Now it was Annah's turn to chuckle, calmly sitting down in the chair in front of King and I she set her gun down, "You see King, the reward always comes after the punishment, so keeping us here will irritate you a little bit, but in the end, the diamond will be sitting in the palm of your hand ready to use."

Pushing me away roughly he snatched up Annah's gun, "You do have some King blood in you after all. Deal."

Smirking Annah gently pulled me beside her, "I do, that's why you shouldn't have trusted me. No deal." Right on cue gunshots were heard from behind King, two of his men were shot down, and standing behind him was Theo.
