Savannah's P.O.V

It's been two days since Cage said I love you to me after he had said that he left in my thoughts. I had completely frozen in shock, I didn't know whether to believe him or not. I didn't even know if I should just take Ray and go to Canada to run away with her from there. I couldn't bring myself to do that because I... "Sanna? Sweety, are you okay?"

"Yeah, everything is fine Granny. What's up?"

"Nothing you have just looked lost the past few days, avoiding everyone including me."

I look away from her, "Yeah, I've just been thinking about a couple of things."

"What things?"

"If I should take Ray and go to Canada if I should leave for good, or give Cage another chance? I am just so confused I just needed a break from everything you know?"

Granny came to sit next to me, "You have a long life in front of you Sanna, living alone for that long only with Ray is going to be boring, soon she's going to go to school, have a life you need someone with you. To be with you support you." Everything Granny was saying was right but how could I trust him again?

"Granny, I've done a pretty good job of being alone, everything is easier when you are alone, but I know Ray needs a father figure in her life, but-"

"Sanna, I'm not saying what Cage did was right but with all the pain he gave you, he ended up giving you the most beautiful present in the world, Rayna, and then it comes to her safety I think you need to convince your heart that Cage may not be as bad as you think he is."

Taking a deep breath in, I look out to the window, "I'll give it a thought Granny."

My pride was saying, 'It's impossible,' My experience was saying. "it's risky," Reason was saying, "It's pointless," but my heart was whispering, "Give it a try."

Even after all these years, my heart bowed down to him, but you know what they say "Giving someone another chance is like giving them another bullet because they missed you the first time."

To clear my mind I slipped on my bathing suit and walked out to the jacuzzi to relax, sitting in the hot water staring up at the stars thinking about whether I should give him the gun or not.

"May I come in Annah," I turn around to see my mom holding two cups of coffee, I smile at her.

"Of course Mom, you never need to ask," I put down my phone, which had a picture of Cage and me on it

"So you found a keeper huh?" My mom said nudging my shoulder, I look down blushing.

"He's just so sweet mom, he knows how to treat me well, knows how to just love me you know?"

"He sounds like a true gentleman."

"He is mom, he's the sweetest, he's amazing."

"But baby get to know him properly before you fall too hard, breaking your own heart is a thousand more times painful than others breaking your heart."

"I'll make sure Mom, I'll get to know him better before I freak over him more."

Mom kissed my forehead, "Good because it took me nine months to form your heart, don't let an asshole break it in a second." I chuckled nodding.

I wish I had listened to my mom, it would have saved me a lot of pain.

Cage's P.O.V

It's been two days, two days exactly since I said I love you to Savy and got no answer back, She had just stood there shocked staring up at me with tears filling in her eyes. After everything, I had put her through my words probably felt like heaven to her.

I have been giving her some space since, ignoring her but now I needed an answer it was killing me, all the I love you I had said before were all fake but this one was real. I just hope she knew that.

Walking out of my room, I make my way over to her room only to see no one in it, speed walking to Granny I ask "Where are Ray and Savy?"

Granny smirked looking up at me "Ray is sleeping beside me, Savy is in the jacuzzi debating about something. I think it's best if you leave her alone."

Groaning I slump down beside her, "How much longer do I have to stay away from er."

"I don't know, maybe a couple of more days, maybe weeks, maybe months, maybe years..."

"Years!"

Granny began laughing hard at me "Granny! This isn't funny, I told her I loved her two days ago and now you are keeping me away from her-"

"Go get her, she's inviting you in the hot tub Cage, show her you've changed not just tell her. I got Ray, go get her mother."

Smirking at Granny, I run out the door stripping off my pants and shirt quickly I put on some swimmer shorts and walk up to Savy. She was resting her head against the edge letting one of the jets float her body out, she looked beautiful in a bright orange bikini showing every curve of hers.

"Need some company?" I said dipping my feet in from the other side of the jacuzzi

She snapped her eyes open in a panic, "You scared me, Cage."

I smirk tilting my head to the side a little, "Why? It's just me."

Savy looked away from me, "What are you doing here?" Her walls came up immediately, not for long, not for what I had planned for her.

"Just thought I would come out for a dip, didn't think you would be out here," I said shrugging my shoulders, jumping in going under completely coming out, with water dripping from my hair, I licked my lips from any of the water from the hot tub, I heard her breath hitch and I was on the other side, the only exit.

"Enjoying the view?"

She snapped out of the trance she was in and scoffed "Please if you are only here to annoy me, leave."

"See I don't think I want to, not before I get the answer to what I said a couple of days back."

"I-I am leaving." She tried to walk past me, but I gently pushed her up against one of the jets "What are you doing?"

"Getting my answer," Some voices came from the inside of the house, not far from where we were she looked over, in their direction

"Cage, come on let go, someone will see." Now it was my turn to scoff, gently grabbing her chin I turned to face me "No one will see anything, they are too far to see anything."

I pressed myself harder against her, "I'm not scaring you right?"

"N-No."

I chuckled lifting her against me, "I should, 'cause I have a lot of things planned for tonight. A lot of them involve you not dressed."

She shivered at my words, "I don't think that's a good idea Cage."

I licked my lips, rubbing her bottom lip with my thumb, "Let's not think right now."

Our lips were centimeters away from each other, keeping my eyes connected I connected our lips, she opened her mouth to protest but I took the chance to slip my tongue in her mouth, I couldn't let her think, anything she had to say should come from her heart, "You taste the exact same as I remember, chocolate and strawberries."

Savy let out a loud moan gripping my shoulders, slipping my hands underneath the water I rubbed my hands against her body, gently disconnecting our lips I rested my forehead against hers, "For the longest time, I've been wanting to taste you again, touch you again..'

Lowering my mouth on hers capturing her bottom lip between mine, sucking, tasting memorizing her "You can't help it either, can you? You need me as much as I need you."

"C-Cage I-I"

"You what?"

"I don't need you." A chuckle slipped from my lips I released my grip on her a little, still stubbornly yanking her towards me my hand traveled down between her legs, slipping two fingers into her, she tensed up but relaxed as I began gently moving in and out of her, Savy's grip tightened on me "Still going to say you don't want me?"

"I-I don't want to be used again." I stopped any movement I was making.

"You think I'm using you again?" Her eyes were tightly closed "I asked you something."

"I don't know."

I lifted her chin up and kissed her, "I will never break your heart, never hurt you, I might fuck up, I might not be perfect but baby I will never ever hurt you again. I promise."

She opens her eyes, "I love you too."

I smiled at her pulling out my finger I licked her juices off them. taking off my boxer, I pulled off her bikini "You know we've never had sex in a hot tub before."

Savy chuckled "There's a first time for everything,"

Throwing our clothes on the ground outside of the hot tub, I pulled her forward gently entering her we both stilled but then I kissed her hard, muffling any moans coming from her, moving in and out of her slowly before she was begging for more, slowly the night went away between our love and pleasure. "Love you Savy."

"I love you too Charming" I got my girl back, I have my daughter, I have my family back. What more can I ask for?
