Savannah's P. O. V

We have been back for a few hours now, and it was lovely to see Ray laughing while Cage played with him on the way back. She nicknamed him Hero, which is lovely. We didn't chat, but we had a nice, cozy stillness. Weeping I moved from the couch to the rear, where I took a seat on the side and simply reflected on how much my life had changed in the last four years. I fell in love with him, we parted ways, and I moved to New York. And yet, here I am, returning to California and staying at Cage Charming Levi's home. "It's nice out here isn't it?" Cage said from behind me scaring me a bit.

"Yeah, it is." It was a beautiful, nice breeze, okay temperature the sun was setting it was perfect.

"So..."

"So?"

"You wanna talk? You know about how we are going to raise Ray from here on." Cage said sitting down beside me.

"Well, I was thinking of going back to New York after all this is over. Co-parenting didn't cross my mind."

"New York? Why?"

"That's where my life is now. My job, my home, Granny-"

"But I'm here." He cut in abruptly "Just stay here I can get you a job here, buy you a house and I'll even convince Granny to stay."

"Cage take a breath. I'm not going anywhere right? Ow. Just- just let me think about it okay?"

Letting out a big breath he nodded "Please do."

I gently smile at him "You know this is the most civil conversation we have had since you came back."

He chuckled "I know. Feels nice just to talk to you."

"Yeah, it does."

"I'm sorry Savannah."

"What?" I say shocked.

"I'm sorry for everything, I'm going to make it up to you, for everything."

Those words were like heaven to my ears. I-I can't believe he was saying them. For two years I've wanted him to be sorry for him to realize what he did to me. But I couldn't let him in again not till I trusted him. "I-I don't know what to say, I haven't forgiven you her Cage."

"I'm going to work for it just like you said. I just thought you should hear my apology one that I should have said a long time ago."

"Thank you," I said letting out a sigh

"Savy?"

"Mm?"

"I-I was wondering if I could sleep with you two tonight?"

My heart skipped a beat, "I don't know."

"What you scared I'm going to kiss you."

"I will knee you in the balls."

"Whatever. What's there to think about? Ray will be in the middle and I will be on the other side of the bed."

"I said I don't know. Just give me time."

"Time for what?"

"Time to adjust Cage! You are pushing and pushing just give me a second to breathe." I said getting frustrated with him. Taking a couple of deep breaths I look at him "Just take Ray into your room. She'll sleep anywhere. I don't want you in the same bed as me."

"I am not going to attack you."

"Just-"

"Do you sleep? You look exhausted all the time, and you barely have any energy. Do you sleep?"

"Yeah, I sleep. How am I surviving without sleep?"

"You don't."

"Please, Cage."

"You don't. Ellie told me you have insomnia, I thought that maybe-"

"How you would help me sleep? You're the reason I have insomnia."Cage glared before storming off inside, There goes our civil conversation.

Cage's POV

She is so infuriating. I don't think I can keep my cool around her anymore she keeps on throwing the past into my face. How is it my fault that she has insomnia? God!

"Why are you pacing around like an idiot?" Ellie said waking in with Ray.

"Your best friend is an idiot. She-"

"She has all the right to be mad at you and rude. You have to deal with it. Anyways she told me to bring you, Ray, for the night."

I sigh calming down a bit. I take Ray from her smiling at her "She is so beautiful."

"I know, that's what I said when I first saw her."

"You knew?"

"Yeah." She said shrugging "I had to keep it from you though. I knew the day she left for New York."

"Ellie!"

"She needed to get away Cage. This company used her. I let her go."

Ignoring her I watched Ray play with the chain that my mom gave me "You like it, Raya?"

"Yeah, Hero. It's very prewty"

"Thanks, baby. Did you know Granny gave it to me?"

She tilted her head to the side cutely "Granny?"

"Not my Granny your granny. Wanna see her?"

"Yeah."

I grabbed my mom's photo from the desk and showed her "She's pretty. Where is she?"

My heart dropped "She's somewhere far, up in the stars watching over you Raya."

"That's what momma says too. Nonna is there with granny."

"Yeah, baby." She giggled when she smiled she looked exactly like Savy, Ray was beautiful just like her mother. I would do anything to keep her safe even if it meant losing my own life.

Savannah's POV

I woke up to Rayna's cries, I looked over at the time it was only 5:00. Groaning I got out of bed made my way over to Cage's room and walk in.To see a Cage struggling with her Ray was squirming in his arms giving him a hard time.

"Do you need help?"

"Yes, yes can you please calm her down?" He said walking over to me quickly, grabbing her from him I rubbed her back rocking her back and forth

"It's okay baby. Momma's here."

Her cries died down in a couple of minutes "Thank god. I've been trying to get her to stop crying for the past hour."

"What happened?"

"I don't know she just woke up crying."

I nodded, "Probably had a bad dream."

"Can you please just stay here?" Cage said running his hands through his hair

"Yeah, don't worry about it. Go back to bed."

"She's sleeping, isn't she? I mean in your arms."

I raised an eyebrow at him "Yeah?"

"Just come lay in bed I promise I won't touch you." I hesitated but crawled into his bed with Rayna laying her down on the side sleeping in the middle of her and Cage.

"She likes the wall side. If she sleeps on the edge she wakes up crying like that."

"Right, I'll remember that for next time."

I nodded at him closing my eyes, I felt him cuddle in more wrapping his arms around my waist, I didn't say anything I felt safe and protected. Like I was home again.

King's POV

"You are useless Theo!!"

"Sir, I swear I have been searching for them for the last two days I can't find any trace."

"Find them and find them now. Capturing them will be the only way to get the diamond. I've had enough of this hiding shit."

Where ever they went where ever they were. I'm going to find them. No one has even won when playing with King. If we can get our hands on Rayna we'll hit gold. But where could they go?
