Cage's P.O.V

I woke up early to make Savy's favorite banana Nutella pancakes, Granny was true to her word no one had come out to the smell of pancakes other than Savy. "That smells so good Granny-" She stopped at the door of the kitchen "You? Why are you making breakfast?"

I shrugged, "Wanted to. Haven't cooked in a long time so I thought why not."

She looked at me suspiciously but made her way over to me, "Well they smell really good, and look good too."

"Yeah?" I said smiling at her

"Yeah." She picked at one of the pancakes and took a bit dipping it in Nutella first "Mmm" She moaned 'This is so good. I don't remember you being such a good cook."

"Well, I have been practicing over the past two years. No one was here to cook for me." 

"Please, you could have hired a cook."

"I don't waste money on stupid things I can do by myself," I said flipping the last pancake

"Where is everyone?" Savy said sitting down, beginning to dig into her pancakes.

"I don't know. Guess they are still sleeping. Where's Ray?"

"Ray is playing with Ellie right now."

"Okay..." The kitchen was quiet for a while. "So um about Ray, is it okay if I spend some time with her alone?"

"Excuse me?"

"I thought it would be appropriate if I spent some time with her and see how she reacts to me."

"You have spent some time with her. That's all you can get." Savy said staring down at her pancakes.

"Oh come on. I didn't spend more than five minutes with her." I said back getting a bit frustrated.

"Should have thought about that before you called her a bitch, me a bitch also a slut... should I go on?"

"Stop throwing that in my face." I grabbed the first thing in sight and threw it at the wall behind her.

She sat there shocked, "No, you cannot be around my daughter." Savy walked off still in a state of shock. Even I was. I could have hit her, or hurt her... groaning out of frustration I slid down to the floor. What the fuck should I do to win my family back? Win her back?

Savannah's P. O. V

I went back to my room after the incident with Cage. I can't believe he would throw a spatula at me. How am I supposed to let him be around Ray when he acts out of anger like that? I know he's trying to get involved but I don't want him to, I have everything managed and when he'll come in I have to start from square one again.

"Annah?" Ellie said walking in with Ray, "Everything alright?"

"Your cousin is a psycho. Completely psycho."

"What are you talking about?" She said sitting down next to me.

"Well, I woke up today to the smell of pancakes I thought Granny was making them but it was Cage making them. I didn't mind that but then he asked if he could be around Ray and I'm not ready for that. So when I said no he threw a spatula at me."

"Did it hit you?" She began looking around my  face and arms

"No, it hit the wall behind me right above my head. Now tell me how I can let him be around her after that?"

Ellie sighed rocking Ray back and forth "Cage... He doesn't know how to express his feelings or show his feelings. Trust me, what happened this morning in the kitchen was just his frustration coming through. He would never lay a hand on Ray."

"Ellie..."

"100 percent guaranteed. I know he is a total asshole but he wouldn't do that."

Her words gave me reassurance but... Maybe he could be around her but when I'm with him. Just to be sure."Maybe...Maybe your right."

"I'm sorry what?"

"I said maybe you are  right."

She smiled at me, "Go talk to him. This time civilly no yelling, screaming, or fighting."

"Okay. You got her right."

"Yeah. Now go."

Making my way over to his room I began to get nervous. Was I doing something wrong? Was it right to give him another chance? I mean... "Yes?" Cage said almost bumping into me

"I-I actually wanted to talk to you about some things."

"I'm a bit busy right now." He said trying to get past me but I blocked him

"Cage, this is important."

"Don't give a shit. I tried this morning you didn't want to listen. Why should I listen to you now?"

I raised an eyebrow at him "You threw a spatula at me."

"I threw it at the wall."

"Right above my head?"

He sighed, "I can never win with you these days."

"Can we talk?"

He moved to the side letting me in his room, I went over to his bed and sat down."Ask me whatever you want to ask me, Cage."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you just found out that you have a kid. Ask me all the questions."

"Why wouldn't you tell me when you find out? I mean the test I made you do it came out negative so how?"

"I didn't take it. I put some water on it and waited."

"Then, how about you not seeing a doctor? Or not eating?"

"I saw one as soon as I was let go from here. Then the day after I left."

He sat down against the wall on the other side of the room staring directly at me "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I thought you would have taken her away from me, or ask me to abort her, or put her up for adoption. "

"I wouldn't do that Savannah." He whispered, "I know I hurt you a lot, but I wouldn't separate a child from their mother. I know what it's like growing up without a mom, I wouldn't want it for my own kid."

"Cage... you have to understand I had my reasons. I had to keep her from you, she was the only thing keeping me alive and still is. Otherwise, I  had nothing to live for..."

I heard his breath hitch "What?"

"You tore me apart bit after bit. There was nothing left for me until I found out Ray was in my tummy. I couldn't take her with me. She didn't deserve to be punished for the mistake I made, you made. So I-I decided to move away."

"Savy...I want to be around her. I want her to hear her call me daddy. I want to protect her, love her..."

"Work for it," I said abruptly even surprising myself, is he really fit to come back in our life? In Ray's life after all he said and did.

"What?"

"This week, if I see a change in you. You can be a part of her life."

"What about you?"

"What about me?"

"Can I be a part of your life? Can I be with you?"

I look up at him shocked, "I don't think so Cage, I-I can't put myself through everything again."

"So you don't feel anything for me?" Cage said

"No." That was a lie, after everything he put me through, behind the front I put up was love, hidden love for him.

"What was that in the car then?"

"What was what?" My heartbeat slowly began beating faster

Cage slowly got up "Do you want a reminder? I don't mind giving you one."

Clearing my throat I began crawling back on the bed while he took steps forward "N-No. I-I am trying to have a conversation with you about something much more ah-" He grabbed my ankles quickly yanking me towards himself. "What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to get you back into the moaning, withering mess I had you in back in the car. God Savy..." He leaned down pinning me in a way that I couldn't move just stare up at him. "The things I want to do to you, I don't think your innocent mind couldn't take." His words made me shiver, " This new Savy, that doesn't take anyone's shit, bites back takes me to all new kinds of high."

"This isn't, this isn't right. You have a fiance that you've cheated on two times now. I am. It going to be your whore again cage get off." I may still love him but I am not going to let him use my body to his advantage whenever he wants. I am not his whore.

"What?" He said shocked losing his grip letting me get out from underneath him.

"I said I'm not going to be your whore again. You have Dove for the show and then have me as the after-party. I said what I said about Ray and you are more than welcome. But leave me alone, it's not going to work this time."

He sat there looking at me with a blank face, "Again if you want to be around Ray be around her. But don't think you can make your way back into my heart then think again. "

I'm not his whore.
