Savannah's P.O.V.

"Annah!!" Ellie said basically jumping at me, I chuckled hugging her back. I was so happy to see her, it was nice to be in California again. The air was just different. "Granny! It's so great to see you again."

"You too Ellie," Granny said laughing, we all got into her truck and went to Levi Corporation Safe House. Ray was getting a little irritated the flight had taken a toll on her, 7 hours non-stop couped up in a plane. It was her first time.

Finally reaching the house I jumped out of the truck keeping Ray close to me. Granny had offered to take care but now that I was back here I wanted to cling to her because she was the only thing that was going to keep me sane throughout this week.

A couple of tall guys had walked up to us grabbing our bags without saying a word, I looked over to Ellie and she said " I will show you your room. I set everything up with Ray's crib the mandatory stuff for her. She will be sleeping in the same room as you and-"

"All three of us will be sleeping in that room, I need to keep a watch over both of you." Cage said cutting into the conversation.

Ellie put her hand on her forehead harshly sighing, "Cage, I told you to sleep in another room. Annah is not going to be comfortable."

"Doesn't matter. I need to be there."

I clenched my jaw looking at him "Where were you the past two years?"

"I would have come if you had just told me-" Bullshit

"Doesn't matter. You are not sleeping in the same room as me, do you understand?"

"I am not arguing over this."

"Fuck off Cage." I stormed off pulling Ellie with me.

"He knows?" Ellie said calmly

"Yeah, Theo told him even after I did everything he asked for. Fuck, I should have taken that job in Canada." I said pulling at my hair pacing around the room Ellie brought me to.

"Annah... You need to take a breath. It's okay."

"It's not okay. I hate him! And now he knows that Ray is his daughter, he will never leave me alone. I had a perfect life these past two years away from him, away from his aura but no, he had to come back and ruin every fucking thing."

"Annah, Cage... Cage has only shown you his asshole side, he hasn't shown you any other side. If you just cool down and see through your anger you'll see he's not that bad. He'll be an amazing father if you just give him a chance."

I closed my eyes tightly trying to calm my heartbeat down, "I don't know if I can."

Ellie gently rubbed my back and left the room. Mom, I needed to go visit Mom. I grabbed my jacket and purse quickly telling Granny I was going out I walked out to the graveyard to find my mom's grave. It was covered in dust, and webs, cleaning it with my jacket I put white roses on it.

"Hi, Mom." I whispered with tears streaming down my face "How are you?"

Shaking my head I wipe away some tears "Stupid question I know. Sorry, I haven't visited in so long. A lot of stuff happened, you probably know. Found a boy, the boy broke my heart, got beat by dad, got used, had my princess Rayna... But you know that boy that broke my heart? Well, he's back and he's also the father of Rayna. I say that I hate him, but I don't know, he didn't know that Ray was his... Mom, I don't know if I should give him a chance-" I looked away from her stone to wipe away the nonstop tears coming out "I don't think I have the strength. If he hurts me again, I'll be gone. Rayna is my light, she's a beautiful mom, but everyone says she needs a father just as much as she needs me. My life is a mess, Mom. Mom, can you please come back? Please? I need you." I broke down in tears not being able to hold them back anymore. "Please, Momma."

I sat there for a couple of hours, crying hugging the stone before kissing Mom's name, and began walking back to the safe house. I entered the house and everyone turned to look at me.

 Cage looked pissed,"Where the hell have you been? Why have you been crying? Are you hurt?"

"None of your business. Granny where is Ray?"

"In the room, she's still sleeping. The flight wore her out."

"Alright." I went to step around Cage but he wasn't having it

"I asked you a damn question Savy."

"I don't have to answer any of your questions because I am in this mess because of you. If you had just stayed away from me I would still be in New York living happily with my daughter. But, then you came again and fucked everything up, like always. So this week I don't want to see your face do you understand?" Yanking my arm out of his grip I walked to Ray, He can go to hell.

Cage's P.O.V.

I watched Savy storm off into her room, this was going to be a tough week. She is so stubborn, so hard-headed, and strong. "You have to give her time Cage if you want to be able to make your way back into her heart." Granny said gently patting my shoulder "Start by making her breakfast in the morning."

"Me? Make breakfast for her?"

"Yes, you will make breakfast for her and be all romantic. I'll make sure no one comes in the kitchen until 10:30 am."

I smirk at Granny, "What do you expect will happen in the kitchen?"

"I don't know" She shrugged her shoulders smiling at me "Anything can happen."

Making my way into my room, I took off my shirt stretching my arms out a bit, sitting on a plane was so annoying, I hated traveling but with this job, traveling is a huge part of the job. I grabbed my P.J.'s walking into the bathroom to take a hot shower, the bathroom between my bedroom and Savy's bathroom was connected so I could reach her anytime there was a problem. This week is a very important week for me, I need to show her that I'm not as bad as she thinks I am. Stepping into the shower I began to let the water run to warm up the temperature and get better pressure "Oh My God I am so sorry."

I turn around quickly grabbing a towel to cover myself up "Seriously Savy, you could have just asked, we would have taken a shower together."

"W-What?! No! I just came in here to unpack my bathroom utilities, I didn't know that you would be in here."

"You didn't hear the water running?"

"No." She said groaning from embarrassment "I'm just going to go."

I chuckled "That would be nice." I heard her open and close the door before probably screaming into a pillow because I heard her muffled scream through the door. What am I going to do with her?
