Savannah's P.O.V

Cage had left after ambushing me with his cruel words, I don't understand what he gets by constantly hurting me. Joy? Pleasure?

Quickly I clean myself so Granny, doesn't see me crying I don't want her to be mad at him as much as he has hurt me. I just can't believe that my grandpa killed his mom. I don't want to believe it, but if he has then I just gave him the biggest lead to his mission. Papa deserves to be punished."Sanna, hurry people are waiting for you."

"Going Granny," Cleaning myself up I walk to the next table with a smile and say "Hello, there I am Savannah, tell me what I can I do for you?"

Two hours later

I hang up my uniform and slump down on one of the couches at Night and Day and rest my feet. After the drama with Cage, it was like a herd had walked in, it got so busy I didn't get a chance to rest. My phone also kept on buzzing but I couldn't take it because of the number of people that were there. Checking my phone I see there are ten missed calls from Theo,

"Hello?" Theo said

"Hey,  you called?"

"Yeah, I called why didn't you pick up."

"I was just busy with a couple of things, hurry up and tell me what you wanted."

"Do you have a nice dress?"

"Excuse me?"

"Do you have a nice dress or not?"

"Yeah, I have a couple."

"Good you are going to be my date to this ball downtown, so come home quickly."

"Why are we going to a ball?"

"Shut up and come home unless you want Cage to know the truth. One click of a button and everything will be ruined."

"Fuck off I am coming, just let me ask Granny quickly if she can take care of Ray for the night."

"Fine, but hurry."

Rolling my eyes at him I cut the phone and walked over to Granny, "Granny could you take care of Ray tonight? I have a date."

Granny turned around with a huge smile on her face "Of course I can. A date huh? Is he cute?"

"Granny..." I said blushing "I have to go, I will pick her up after work tomorrow."

"Go have fun don't worry about her."

"Thank you."

Rushing out of there I drive home to see Theo pacing back and forth "Too you long enough. Hurry up and get ready."

I stand there raising my eyebrow at him "A please would be nice. I am not your maid, I'm your girlfriend."

"Fake girlfriend. Now go."

Storming into my room, I quickly grab the first dress I have insight, which is emerald green, with some diamond work around the neckline, do a smoky eye, and let my hair down. Putting on glass, or see-through heels I walk out "I am done."

"That was f-" Theo said abruptly stopping when he saw me, his mouth left open "You looks amazing."

"Yeah, you don't look bad yourself now can we get this stuff over with."

Clearing his throat he nodded, it took us about fifteen minutes to get to the ballroom and as we walked in he grabbed my waist roughly pulling me to his side "If anyone asks you anything just smile and nod. Don't try to act too smart."

I glared at him and he returned it with a smirk blowing a kiss at me, I sent the location earlier to Ellie, to keep tabs on me and the diamond. I don't know who was feeding Theo information but it was pretty spot on the Diamond was kept in Mr. Levi's necklace, I know what you are thinking If Mr. Levi is here so is Cage I thought the same thing so far I haven't seen him.

"Maybe if you show me some respect I might not think about punching you in the face every five seconds."

"Respect for a girl who got pregnant without marriage? I don't even see the father in the picture either."

Ouch. "Fuck off. I am fine without a man in my life, if you haven't noticed I am doing pretty good without a man."

"Right, so how about we add a kiss to the contract too."

"You kiss me I will knee you in the balls." I spat at him through my smile.

"So you want the truth out."

"you can't force me to kiss you."

"Kiss me."

"I am not going to kiss you."

"Everyone is looking at us, including that jackass over there that is a part of the merger."

I look at him confused, "What jackass?"

"Cage Levi." I look away from him only to find Cage staring directly at us.

"So? Why do you have such a problem with him?"

"He left you alone with a child in your stomach, his child."

"He didn't know about it." I snap at him "So how about we not kiss and you do whatever you are here to do."

"Oh come on don't you want to make him a little jealous."

"Like I said before you kiss me I will make sure you will never have kids." His grip tightened on my waist making me hiss in pain.

"We need to make this shit believable if I want to get my hands on the Diamond, so just hurry up and kiss me."

"No." I said stubbornly ripping his arm off my waist but he snatched me back putting his hands on my face angling it upwards "I am not asking anymore."

With that he gently planted his lips on mine, I couldn't do anything, so I kissed back gently putting my hands on his shoulder, he pulled back a little "See it wasn't that bad." Pecking my lips again I stood there shocked "I'm pretty sure jackass over there is turning red." I looked over his shoulder he was right. Cage was looking directly at us, gripping his wine glass so hard that I thought it was going to break "I'm going to go get a drink, you want one?"

"Yeah, I glass of water please." Theo nodded walking off in the direction of the buffet table

"Savannah?" I heard my name be called I turned around to see Mr. Levi standing there "What are you doing here?"

"I um, just came here on a date with Theo."

He smiled at me, "A date?"

"Yeah, we know each other since we were younger, basically grew up together and he recently just came back into my life and took up a job at DayLight Industries and things have been good."

"That's good. Good for you."

I nodded awkwardly standing in front of him, "I just wanted to apologize again, for what we put you through. I hope you understand."

I looked up at him with a little anger but didn't say anything, just nodded hoping Theo would come and save me "I appreciate you helping us. Ellie told me about the lead you gave."

"No problem Sir, I don't think we should talk about it right now though because Theo will come any second and-"

"Don't worry, I have that covered Dove is distracting him." I rolled my eyes at the unwanted voice popping into the conversation "Now, tell me why would you help us? Is this some kind of play our grandfather is playing with us?"

"Mr. Levi, I'll take your leave. I will keep on sending the information I have to Ellie. Theo is probably wondering if I am."

I turn to walk away but Cage grabs onto my arm, I roughly shake it away as if it burns me "Don't. I am not going to let you treat me like shit for nothing, I didn't do anything. Everything that happened to your family my Papa did. I am sorry about your mother Cage but if you hadn't noticed I was abused every single day after. I still have the scars if you want the proof, so just stay away. Theo is a friend and he's working for Papa, so anything I get I will send it to Ellie. I am helping because I'm not heartless, and I'm not doing it out of pity, I got this tip before you told me so just kindly fuck off and not touch me ever again."
