Cage's P.O.V

"Alright, Cage, if you want to stay in until the merger has completely gone through I, could get someone to give you a tour of the office."

I raised my eyebrow at him, "You want me to work for you?"

"No, you are getting me wrong Cage, I thought while you are here, you could work from here and see how the company is running after the merger."

"I see, I guess I could work from here for a while. But the merger has gone through correct?"

"Yes Cage it has, the percentage has been spilt up to Daylight Industries has 40%, King industries has 30% and Levi Industries has 30%"

"Sounds good, I'm ready for that tour."

Yawning I sit down in one of the chairs in his office, last night the party lasted longer than expected Savannah, and Raya left around 12:00 in the morning and the rest left a bit earlier than them. Now here I am sitting in Blake's office getting a tour. "Cage, Savannah will give you a tour of the office, if you have any questions feel free to ask her and you will have to share her office while you are here if that's alright with you."

I looked over at Savannah, and she looked awful, "Yeah that's fine with me Blake."

She looked at me as if I had grown another head, but didn't say anything " Come with me, Sir." Walking out of the boardroom, I notice Savannah stumbling a bit like her foot hurt.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just keep quiet please, and just follow me."

"Savannah, did you sleep last night?"

"This is my office, I will arrange some to move my desk over to make some room for you."

Getting irritated with her I spun her around gently making her look at me "I don't care about the tour Savannah."

Pushing me away she gave me a sad smile "You don't care about me either, so stop pretending like you do."

Her words hit me hard, I took a step back swallowing harshly I sighed, "Fine if you don't want to tell me. Let's just get this stupid tour over with."

Savannah's P.O.V

Everything went well last night, though there were a few hiccups with Cage here and there. I was ecstatic, but after the birthday party, my insomnia decided to strike, and I severely twisted my ankle when getting up to see how Ray was doing. After Ray's birthday party, everything that could have gone wrong did, and now here I am, giving Cage a tour of the office. "I'll have someone else, give you the tour. My ankle hurts a lot."

"Why does your ankle hurt?"

"Cage, I don't have the energy to fight with you today so can you just listen to me."

"How about you answer my questions and I won't bug you."

"I don't have to do anything."

"Actually, technically I am your boss. I have 30% of this company."

Taking in deep breath I try to control my anger "I twisted my ankle last night when I got up to check on Ray."

"I don't need an office tour. I'll figure it out, sit down."

"Excuse me?"

He rolled his eyes at me pushing me down into my desk chair and leaned down to check my ankle. I slipped it out of his grip and backed away in my chair "Don't touch me."

"Don't be childish Savy."

"I-"

"I am going to call you Savy, it's a habit okay? Now stop being a kid and let me see your ankle."

"I am not being a little kid. Just leave my foot alone."

"I thought you didn't have the energy to fight with me?"

Sighing, I try to get up but he traps me in the chair with his body, "I'm not going to hurt you Savy, just let me see."

"Funny, but your whole life's mission is to hurt me any chance you have."

He leaned down making me back into the chair, "I'm not going to hurt you."

. . . Flashback . . . 

"Ow, ow.." I said limping into Cage's bedroom "Ow!!"

He turned to me with a smirk on his face, "What is it Savy?"

"Can't you see I'm hurt?"

"What do you want me to do? Kiss it better?"

Glaring at him, I stick my foot in his face "How many times have I told you to put your weights away when you are done working out?"

"Aww, you got hurt from them?" Cage said with a slight smile

"You think this is funny? Once I get better I'm going to kill you!!"

Cage bursted out laughing walking over to me he leaned down to check my foot, "You could never hurt me, just like I could never hurt you."

A smile came on my face, "I love you."

"I love you too"

. . . Present . . .

"You are not a doctor Cage, just let go of my foot and go over to your stupid corner of the room."

He didn't listen and continued to inspect it, "This is not a small sprain Savy, you need a brace."

" I need you to-"

"Shut up."

He got up and buzzed through the intercom. " Hey Alissa could you please send in a brace and first aid kit please"

"Right away Sir"

Silently examining him, I think about how fake he is. He's so nice and kind but then when you get to know him he's the biggest asshole in the world. "Stop staring at me Savy"

"I was just wondering why you are taking care of an ex-public resource."

His body froze, "Stop throwing that in my face."

"Why does it hurt your feelings? Does it remind you how much of a monster you are?"

"I'm way better than your grandpa if I'm a monster then he's the devil."

"Whatever Cage, he's dead. You are hunting a dead person."

"Look I don't want to argue with you right now. So just shut up."

"Sir, I have brought the First Aid Kit."

Walking over to the door Cage grabbed her politely and came back over to me "Give it to me, I can do it by myself."

"Relax." He said looking into my eyes "I know you can take care of yourself. Just let me do this."

For some reason, all the fight I had in me drained from my body I sat back in my chair looking down at him as he gently wrapped my foot in tape and put the brace around it.I felt taken care of again, safe, like me again.But I knew I wouldn't last long because I wouldn't let him back in my life. Never again.
