Savannah's P.O.V

It's been two hours since I lashed out at Cage, he has steered clear from me since, having Ellie here was a huge advantage. She helped me keep my cool not be affected by him, and focus on Ray."Hey, do you want to cut the cake now?" Ellie asked

"Yeah sure, let me just go get Ray changed for the photos." I looked around for her, but I couldn't seem to find her "Where is she?"

"She's in the kitchen with Granny, I'll go get her," Ellie said avoiding looking into my eyes.

"Ellie..."

"She's with Dove, out on the dance floor." Clenching my jaw I took a deep breath, I couldn't react to everything I needed to just breathe.

"It's okay, I'll go get her. You go get the cake ready." As I step outside to the dance floor, I notice Cage and Dove dancing with her, making the perfect family. Ray completes the picture of the family, being a hardworking father and a beautiful mother. I force myself to hold back the tears that I know are going to spill and turn to face them. "Hey! Look at you Ray,"

She struggled to get out of Dove's arms right away when she saw me, grabbing her I gave Dove an apologetic smile "Sorry, she does that sometimes."

"No, no it's okay, we had fun while it lasted."

"Right, well we are about to cut the cake so if you two could come in I'm just going to get her to freshen up quickly."

"Wait, where's Ellie?"

"In the kitchen, she's getting the cake put together."

"Alright, I'm going to go help her, see you inside Cage."

She skipped, skipped inside, rolling my eyes at her I started to make my way inside "Why are you so overprotective of Raya? We weren't hurting her, just dancing."

"I don't owe you an answer Cage." I walk inside, lay Raya down on the changing table, and begin to change her diaper and dress into a beautiful floral dress with a matching headband."Let's go, Ray, put on a big smile baby." She giggled as I gently tickled her "There you go."

As we stepped out everyone began singing "Happy Birthday..."

I smile formed on my face, a real one which happens rarely these days. Setting her down in my lap in front of the cake I help her blow out the candle and cut the cake. We took a couple of photos and then a group of photos and individual photos. Everyone from Night and Day, then Granny, Elena then Dove and Cage. "Oh, you three look so cute together. Hurry up and get married so I can have a great-granddaughter to play with."

Dove's face flushed red while Cage began to smirk, "Soon granny, soon."

I took a step back, mad, hurt, angry? I don't know. I couldn't feel this way, I was just a public resource to him, nothing else.Taking a deep breath I push back tears for what seems like for the hundredth time that night "I wanted to make an announcement."

Everyone's eyes turned towards me, "I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came today, I wanted to say thank you for always supporting me and helping me. Granny, you are my rock I don't think I would have survived a day here without you." I teared up looking at her "I seriously can't thank you enough. Ray and I will forever be grateful to you." A couple of tears escaped "I can't believe that my baby is two now, she grew up so fast, and my time here has gone by so fast. Being around every one of you felt like a home I never had. Thank you, and I love every one of you."

Everyone began to clap, cheering saying I love you back to me. Ray came running towards me "Momma, no cry."

Smiling through my tears for her, I grabbed her enveloping her in a hug "I love you."

Granny ran towards me, Ellie too we stood there hugging "You are amazing Sanna, I don't think I've met anyone so true, and hardworking other than you. Even after everything you went through you have so much love to give, so much drive. No one can be like you, I love you."

Everyone slowly came in creating a huge group hug, Cage and Dove came in also his hand landed on my back causing me to flinch a little but he gripped onto my side preventing me from moving away "Alright, enough of all this. Time to eat!!"

Slowly everyone went outside to the buffet, leaving Cage, Ray, and I."What?" I said in a sippy tone when he couldn't stop staring at me

"You have changed a lot over the two years."

"That's what happens, time changes a person."

"Not as much as it changed you."

Ray began struggling in my arms, "Hungry, momma."

Sighing I let her down, letting her go outside to Granny "What is that supposed to mean?"

"Threatening me with a fork, talking back to your dad without flinching, fighting over almost everything actually that hasn't changed."

"I threaten you with a fork because you pissed me off. I had told you to stay the hell away from Ray but you decided to get yourself a nickname by her and you gave her a nickname. I talked back to my dad because he has never done anything for me and me fighting over everything is the same because that's all I know how to do. Life taught me that without fighting you don't get anywhere."

"I pissed you off?"

Rolling my eyes at him for what felt like the millionth time that night I say "Yes, you pissed me off Cage, now if you will excuse me I am starving."

"Did I piss you off or did you let out built-up anger against me?"

"If I let my built-up anger out against you Cage, you won't be able to handle it."

Cage P.O.V

Her words echoed all around me, never, never have I had to deal with a girl like her.

"Why do you even try with her Cage?"

"What do you mean Ellie?"

"Stop trying to play stupid, you know what I mean. She's not going to let you back in and I'm not going to let her either. You are not going to use her again when Uncle Liam has let her out of the mission."

"I wasn't-"

"Don't, I am your cousin. I know you."

"Fine, I'll find a new angle."

"Seriously Cage, I will tell Uncle Liam if you even try and you know how mad he'll be."

Rolling my eyes at her I say "Fine, I won't. When did you plan to come down here? You didn't even tell me."

"I don't need to tell you everything. I am only down here for today and tomorrow then I have to go back. I was here only for Sammi's birthday."

"Sammi? Why do you call her that?"

"Her middle name is Samara, and you know how I like to be unique with my nicknames so I call her Sammi."

"So her full name is Rayna Samara Miller."

"Yep, I always make fun of how long the name is."

"It's not that long, it flows nicely. Hey, Ellie do you know about the father?"

"Yeah, one nightstand. Some police officer I think."

"Right,"

"Cage, Ellie come out before all the food is gone!!" Granny called from outside
