Ok, so real life Kaitlin has read a tiny bit of this chapter so I have spiced it up more and I am ganna continue from there. LESSA GOOO!!!!

Joeys POV:

   The moments of the crash replayed in my mind like it was happening in this moment. I teared up as I began to feel the full regret of not calling 911. She didn't deserve the fight, The pain, The crash. She most likely hated me. I saw her awake and I walked over to her bed.

"I know you just woke up but, your parents left and Maycee and Maverick are at my house. I stayed behind when you went into Memory Recovery. That's why they moved your room, because they needed a bigger area to work in."

She pulled me into a hug with a puzzled look.

"Is that why I can remember every thing as if it just happened? Even blacking out? Never mind, that's a silly question. Besides why do you even care? I was such a jerk about the whole situation and you where strong and willing to just let me go. I'm so sorry."

She was crying harder than a rainstorm and I knew it was the time to tell her.

"Katie, I need to ask you something. But you have to be and stay calm."

She dried her eyes, nodded, and I pulled a chair over to sit down so that this wouldn't be so hard. I felt my mouth open as if I was ready to explain. I hesitated.

"Katie, I am the one that's sorry. I shouldn't of let you leave and drive off into the traffic. I didn't even hesitate to run after you. I walked outside, but by then I had given up."

We where sitting in the silence, with teared up eyes. I grabbed onto her hands like I was never going to let go.

"I wanted to know if you have ever heard of love?"

She giggled and I smiled

"Yeah silly, Maverick and Maycee are In it right now."

I laughed.

"No silly, L-O-V-E."

She tilted her head to the side and fured her brows.

"L for Loving someone

O for Over exaggeration

V for Valentines that dont exept your letters

And E for Everything in between. That's -"

The nurse cam busting through the door before I could finish the sentence. She walked over to Kaitlin and helped her up. I watched, almost ready to cry. She asked Kaitlin if she knew me and she nodded her head yes. The nurse made me leave the room. I never got to tell her.
