Lukas stares at Jesse in disbelief. Moments ago, Jesse was just talking to the king and now he finds out that she is going on a possible suicide mission. Jesse looks down as Lukas starts to yell, "Let me get this straight! I finally get you back, only for you to leave again?!" He crosses his arms. "...I won't be gone forever Lukas... Unless of course, king sean abandons me..." She pulls her long black hair into a ponytail and Lukas sighs, "I'm sorry. I just... I can't lose you again Jesse" He presses his forehead against  hers. Jesse blushes before sighing. "I'm the only one here that knows the night kingdom. It has to be me, but I promise you... I will be back, and alive." She presses her lips against his. Lukas holds her face as they both share a passionate kiss then King sean grumbles. He walks passed them and gets on his horse. "C'mon Jesse" He growls. "Coming!" Jesse says, annoyed, as she pulls away from Lukas. She looks at the king. He is in full armor and he has a diamond sword on his back. Jesse puts her fingers in her mouth and whistles. The night terror runs up to her and she gets on. "I'll see you soon!" Lukas yells as Jesse and king sean ride off toward the night kingdom. Queen Solar puts a hand on her sons shoulder before they walk inside.

Everyone watches as the king of the day and the princess of the night ride off together, and it is clearly there are having a conversation but it is hard to make out from a distance.

"King Sean, when we get to the night kingdom, I am going to need you to stay behind me and follow my lead."
"Why should I? I'm older and wiser than you." King Sean looks at her, angrily.
"Don't forget who grew up in this kingdom" Jesse responds, not looking at him or toward him, "Oh and by the way, Armor of the days does get affected by night magic. Just so you know"
"You are really getting on my nerves." The king growls.
"Deal with it. We have a while to go until we reach the night kingdom."

The night time shows up and darkness fills the land. Luna stands in her throne room, looking at an old piece of tapestry of her and her family when Jesse was just a toddler and her father was still alive. 3 guards walk up to Luna. Shira, Clementine and Jadie. Shira looks at the queen, "Your highness, We found two creatures by the front gates." She says as she takes off her metal helmet, revealing her long dark hair. Luna holds her hands behind her back and stares at a wall, as if she were thinking, "What kind of creatures." Luna growls as she looks at Shira. Shira backs up, before looking at Clementine and Jadie. " A horse from the day kingdom and your daughters night terror" Clementine says, as she pulls her short brown hair into a ponytail. Luna looks directly at Shira and Clementine, "Shira, Clementine. I need both of you to walk around the kingdom. No matter what the cost, find those intruders." She growls. "Yes ma'am!" Shira says as she puts on her metal helmet again. Clementine looks at Luna, "What do we do when we find them?" She asks. "Kill them" Shira and Clementine both gulp before running out and searching the kingdom of the night. Luna looks at Jadie, "And as for you. We need to talk" Jadie gulps nervously, then Luna smiles. It wasn't a nice smile either. It was an unnerving that made all the red flags go off in Jadies head, "W-What is it?" Jadie asks. Luna gives Jadie a pendant. "You are going to be my eyes and spy around the day kingdom."

"Shh!"
"Jesse, I need to ask you s—" King sean whispers.
"SHH!" Jesse growls the she points at a guard in all metal armor.
"Where are we go—"
"Will you just shut up and boost me up..?!" Jesse says as she tries to reach as certain tree branch. King sean rolls his eyes and boosts her up so she can get herself onto the branch. When she is up there and has fully caught her balance, She leans down and helps him into the tree, "Follow me..."

They both use the tree to climb up onto a balcony. A balcony that used to belong to Jesses room. They both look at each other then Jesse sighs. "Jesse, I need to ask you something" King sean looks at the younger girl. "Ask away" She goes over to her mirror and starts to fix her hair. "Why did you decide to warn us about the war? And don't say my son." Jesse looks down and breathes. She slowly looks up and says, "I'm not letting anymore people die because of my family..." She tears up and King Sean reaches out to her, "Jesse w—" Jesse breathes and sighs. "now lets get this plan of yours over with. Talking to her won't do much but we have to try. I have to try." King Sean looks at her, "What do you mea—" Jesse opens her door, "Lets go."

Both the king and the princess head into the throne room, where Luna was waiting and expecting them. "Well well well. If it isn't my pathetic little daughter and her boyfriends brainless father" Luna says, as she turns to look at the two figures. "Luna, King sean and I came to talk" Jesse looks at her mother and she could tell something was definitely off about her. "Alright then, talk" Luna says then her and King Sean negotiate about not having a war and having peace. Jesse, instead of listening, watches her mother carefully for any body movement or any differences about her mother. Everything about Luna was the same, except for one thing. Her eyes. Jesse looks at Luna's eyes. Instead of the pretty violet eyes she once had, she nows has no colored iris. All she has is the white of her eyes, pure black iris' and her pupils. Jesse looks at her mother then she realizes something. King Sean has his sword out and Luna has pure black hands. The magic in Lunas's hands start to form pure black orbs. Without thinking, Jesse pushing King Sean. "King sean, Look out!"

Luna laughs evilly as King Sean drops his sword then her eyes fixate on Jesse. She is lying on the cold dark floor. King Sean gasps, "Jesse! Nononono!" He picks her up and runs out as fast as he can. The last thing Jesse hears is, "Your going to regret this Luna!" The last thing she sees is her night terror then... blackness.
