"So, you fell in love with a boy? Tell me all about it!" Olivia squeals after closing her blinds, leaving her and Jesse in complete darkness. Jesse looks at Olivia, her eyes still adjusting to the dark. 'First it's too light now it is really dark.' Jesse thinks before smiling. "The boy I really like is sweet, caring. He shares my love of the night and he is willing to listen to me... I've only seen him twice but I am... I'm in... I am in love with him." It takes Jesse a few tries but she finally says it. Olivia grins and hugs Jesse. "My best friends first crush! I'm so happy for you! So, tell me what he looks like!" Jesse smiles at herself. "He has beautiful Golden hair, pale skin; but not as pale as mine. Diamond blue eyes, flawless facial features, muscular arms, lips that are so kissable." Jesse covers her mouth, embarrassed by what she had just said. Olivia giggles and Jesse sighs. She has to tell her best friend. "Olivia, What I am about to tell you, you have to promise not to tell anyone." Jesse stands up, feeling her heart race in her chest. Faster and faster and faster. "I promise." "Pinkie promise, Olivia." Jesse says and Olivia sighs. "Fine. Cross my heart and hope to fly. Stick a cupcake in my eye." MLP references. 😅 Jesse smiles and lets out a sigh. Even though she trusts Olivia, her heart still beats out of nervousness. "The boy... Man I fell in love with, he is from... the day kingdom."

Olivia's remains calm and a smile appears across her face. "This. Is. Like. Romeo and Juliet!" She squeals and Jesse looks at her best friend. "Yeah... Princess of night and Prince of day. Totally the same." Jesse rolls her eyes but then she looks at her hands and starts blushing. "I told him I would go to the day time festival and I need to see him again... Today." Jesse says and Olivia looks at her, shocked. "We can't go into the day light!" Jesse stands up and sighs.
"I will go alone then."
"Jesse, no! You could end up hurt or dead! The day kingdom is a bad place." Olivia says, snapping back into the night kingdom beliefs.
"Olivia. Lukas would never hurt me. In fact he would protect me." Jesse says and she pulls out the letter Lukas had given her.
"Jesse, I know you love him and I was excited by reality struck me! This kingdom needs you, Jesse!" Olivia pulls on the princesses left arm.
