Confrontation

(Jet above is what sky's jet form is)

Jack screamed and shut his eyes tightly, clinging onto the seats as I slowed my speed.

"You-you're crazy!!" He shouted.

"I did warn you I could go rather fast." I replied.

"Just take me home so I can get back to my normal life." He snapped.

I slowed immensely, enough for the human to be thrown forward in the seat. The seatbelts stopped him from slamming into the console fortunately, I was silent. Normal life, I've always wondered what that's like.

"Why did you just stop like that?" Jack rubbed his head.

"Normal life..." I said in a solemn tone.

"What about normal life?" He asked.

"Jack, I've never had a normal life."

I slowly began to accelerate but at a much comfortable speed for the human. But now Jack was confused.

"Well let me tell you, it's not exciting." He muttered.

I vented, "I am unlike any other Autobot or Decepticon, I am different."

"Oh yeah? How?" He had a nonchalant attitude.

I was silent for a moment as I flew through the clouds, deciding whether or not to tell him.

"Jack, I'm going to tell you something that only Optimus and Ratchet know about me. You mustn't tell anyone else, alright?" I question.

Jack's expression softened, "I mean...I won't see you guys again, so sure?"

"Jack, I have abilities. Telekinesis, feeling emotions and teleportation being said abilities. I do not know where I inherited these powers from, sometimes I wish I never had them. My emotions can tamper with them, which is why my main concern is to keep myself calm. Optimus prefers I stay in the base in the case of my emotions getting out of hand, but I have learned to control them. You yourself are quite fortunate to have a normal life." I explain to him.

The human was baffled, halfway in between believing it and skeptical of it. Jack leaned back in the seat, my words swirling around in his thoughts.

"So let's say that's true...Only Optimus and Ratchet know? Not the others?" He asks shyly.

"Correct." I clarify.

"Why not?" Jack questions.

"I felt like it hasn't been the correct time, I do intend on telling them once I have fully mastered them. I fear they would never trust me." I explain solemnly.

Jack crossed his arms, "But they're your friends, why wouldn't they trust you?"

"It's complicated Jack." I vent.

The radar within the console began beeping, indicating I was approaching the destination of Jacks home. I began to descend in a nearby empty area as to not be spotted, my landing gear touched the dusty ground beneath me as I shut my engines down. Opening the hatch, the teenager climbed out of my cockpit and landed on the dirt. I shut the hatch.

"You know the way from here?" I question.

"Yeah...thanks Sky." He turned to walk away.

"Jack, before you go," Jack turned to me, "Even though you may never return to the base, I hope that you and I can be acquaintances."

"Oh, yeah for sure." He had a small smile and went on his way.

~20 minutes later~

I could spare a few minutes before I needed to return to base. Sitting upon a large boulder my optics stared up at the stars, twinkling brightly in the dark night sky. A smile upon my faceplates as I felt at ease, as if there was only peace in the universe. But unfortunately, that is not the case. It hasn't been the case for generations. War raged upon our now barren planet, betrayals from those close to us, our fallen comrades.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the sound of a jet soaring in my direction, a pit in my spark formed as I had a guttural feeling I knew who it was. My smile faded into a frown when the sound of gears shifting and a hard thud sounded behind me, I kept my attention on the sky above me. Heavy footsteps slowly approached my form, but stopped at a respectable distance.

"So you have chosen to be a Seeker." He spoke.

"I figured it would be more efficient." I responded in lowering my helm, not facing him.

There was an awkward silence.

"Why are you here?" I ask.

"Simply to see how you are." The warmongers voice said calmly.

I turned my helm to face him, his now red optics glowing brightly.

"I am fine, and yourself?" I attempt to be polite.

"I am well, I have missed you." Megatron kept optic contact.

My blue optics widen at his statement. After all these years, he still seems to care for me? He couldn't care less about Optimus, his former brother in arms, yet he still cares for me. I turn myself to fully face him, my wings twitching slightly.

"I miss the true you. The one who enjoyed battling against other gladiators in the Kaon arena, the one who I accidentally ran into that one day I mustered my courage to watch your battle." I stood from my seat.

The Warlord vented, his tone sounding angered but I knew it wasn't.

"That is the past, Sky. In the present, we are sworn enemies entangled in a war." He shook his helm.

I jump down from the boulder.

"Our factions, yes. But you and I?"

Megatron kept optic contact with me.

"Whatever you are planning with the dark energon, Megatronus, please do not use it. You are tempting fate when you come in contact with it." I plead.

"Ah, so you still show concern for my well being." The warlord smirked.

Mind games will not work on me old friend, maybe I still show concern. I vent, relieving myself.

"I must be going now." I turn to leave.

"Yes, flee back to the traitors." He called.

I halted, a slight sense of irritation conjured in my processor.

"How long until you reveal your secret  to the rest of them? They will never understand, they will reject you." He continued.

No, do not let him get to you Skylana. Arcee, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Ratchet and Optimus are considered my family. They would never betray me, not for all the energon in the universe. Megatron nowadays only spews lies and deceit, I find it hard to believe anything he speaks anymore. I glance over my shoulder plating at him.

"There is still plenty of space for another Decepticon.." Megatrons servos were held behind his back struts.

"I chose my side, old friend." I transformed and took off back towards base.

~Autobot Base~

I arrived back at base a little after 12:30. Once I entered the main area from the tunnel, awaiting me was an irritated Ratchet and concerned Optimus. The others must have gone into recharge already.

"Do you have any idea how late it is?" Ratchet nagged.

"Pardon my tardiness, it will not happen again." I nod my helm.

The Prime squinted slightly as he stared, the look in his optics indicating he knew something was wrong. Or in the very least something had occurred for me to be so late. But as I am quite tired, I do not wish to continue this discussion.

"I'm headed off to recharge, I am exhausted after today's battle."
