Wave was carried off against his own will as he screamed at Ray to stop.
"RAY! Listen to me! That's your friend! Why would you do thi-" Oceanic was caught off guard as Ray's hand raised up and pointed at her.
"No, that's your friend." Ray said, snarling.
Oceanic stared at the hand that was being pointed at her. Ray chuckled.
"Now. Whale, come here please." She said, grinning.
Whale gulped and took a shaky step forward.
"That's it. More." Ray said. She was getting a little impatient now.
Whale walked over as Oceanic pulled at his wrist.
"No! Don't! She's going to do something horrible!" Oceanic cried, tugging at his arm again.
Whale glanced over but ignored her. He took another step towards Ray, now right in front of her.
"Y-yes?" He stuttered nervously.
Ray grinned.
"Join me." She said in a low voice.
There was a long silence between them. Whale stared at Ray, not knowing what to say. The only sound was the small crashes of waves along the sandy beach.
"Just think about it. I can give you power. I will make you strong. You want to be a hero, right?" Ray asked, using a smug voice. She held out her hand to him.
"No! Whale! Don't do it! DON'T DO IT! She's trying to manipulate you! WHALE!" Oceanic cried, trying to make Whale come to sense.
"So which will you choose? Your pathetic friends? Or me?" Ray cooed.
An eerie grin spread across Whale's face.
"I...choose you, Ray." Whale reached out and took her hand.
Ray grinned psychotically.
"That's more like it."
