After the sleepover, the girls met every Friday at exactly 7:45 pm at Sugarcube Corner to talk about what they had been up to and enjoy the presence of friends. This all went on for about two weeks, and they were having lots of fun. One Friday evening, they had their regular meeting, but Pinkie, Rainbow and Applejack had a very special announcement.

The seven friends were gathered around a table enjoying some fruit smoothies, when the three girls spoke to share the good news.

- Hello all, I am so happy to have you all over once again! Rainbow, Applejack and I have a very special announcement- Said Pinkie Pie in a mysterious and loud voice.

- My goodness, Pinkie, you have all of us very nervous, you have been talking all about this announcement for the past week!!- Exclaimed a very intrigued and impatient Rarity- Anyhoo, please continue.

- Oki doki loki!!- The festive girl responded- Do you all remember the last day of class when we mentioned that Mrs. Melody had told us three to practice our instruments?

- Yes, but what do you mean by that?- Wondered Twilight

- She told us that we should maybe create a musical group, because she said that we played them very well- Continued Pinkie

- And...- Said Rarity

- Well ... I don't know how to explain... - Said the girl with curly hair.

- The headmistress told us that there is going to be a musical showcase contest in two months, and she suggested that we all participate. Lots of students are going to participate in it and already have their groups made. We need to think of a name and write three different songs. It is going to be a contest, so it will have three rounds, each one in which we will play a song. Headmistress Celestia and Deputy Head Luna are going to be the judges. They will decide which groups pass to the rounds and who wins. We need to write three songs in case we pass to further rounds. It is a very special event and she thinks that we should participate- Said Applejack, smiling at Pinkie Pie.

- That all sounds marvelous, darling, but Sunset, Twilight, Fluttershy and I don't play any instruments- said Rarity

- That's where I come - Interrupts Rainbow - In the room where Apples, Pink and I found our instruments, there are others. I have the key to go inside. Let's meet tomorrow morning at 10:30 am on the dot to discuss everything. The Headmistress said that we can pop by at that time - Said the sporty girl.

- Ok, that sounds lovely - Said Fluttershy.

- Yes, see you tomorrow at half past ten! - Said Sunset as she walked home.

- Bye darlings! - Waved the fashionista.

- See you! - Said Applejack.

The girls went to their houses with a big smile on their faces. This was going to be very fun!
